Gameplay con la razza Tigran per Age of Wonders III: Eternal Lords.
Trascrizione
00:08Hello everybody and welcome to the second video about the new Eternal Lords expansion for Age of Wonders 3.
00:13Today we're going to be talking about Tigrans as represented here by Mr Kittycat Ankh-Naton Anorak
00:19who is a Tigran sorcerer and an all-round nice guy.
00:24He is using the new Peacekeeper specialization which is a specialization dedicated entirely to being good
00:31which is why he's being accompanied by this chap, the Archangel, the ultimate tier 4 summon that comes with the
00:37specialization.
00:38It is a healing machine. It tears undead units to pieces with spirit damage.
00:43It can inspire people just by standing next to them and it has resurgence.
00:48So if you kill it, it will come back to life if you win the battle, which is great.
00:53Also, to talk about in this video, is one of the most exciting new systems, the Race Governance System.
00:59What that means is, each race has 5 upgrades that unlock as you go through the game.
01:04We've started here with 2 of them unlocked so I can show you.
01:07The Tigrans start here with 2, level 1, patron.
01:11We can either make our prowlers 15 gold Jupiter produce, which is the military option,
01:15or for the economic option we can make settlers Jupiter produce.
01:18Now, it doesn't really matter. In this particular case, we'll choose cheaper settlers, except that.
01:25We're also at level 2. Normally this would unlock around turn 20 or so for a normal player.
01:30We can either give our Tigran Cheetah units a hurl net ability, which is a range paralysis ability,
01:37or we can make our Tigran cities produce 10 golds for each observatory thing.
01:42Now, usually it depends on your situation whether you want to choose an economic or a military thing,
01:47since, you know, it's a let's play, you want to see fights, we'll just choose a military thing.
01:51That's great. Hopefully we've got a cheetah lying around somewhere so we can show you that.
01:56So there you go to the east.
01:58Now, since we're a good guy, we don't want to solve everything through war.
02:01We are going to be the friendliest kitty cats.
02:03We're going to say hello to the little humans and we're going to offer them vassalage.
02:07We shall kindly offer to let them become our servants, as it were, in return for our protection,
02:15which is typically the protection from us not attacking them and killing them all.
02:19But still, it's a thought that counts.
02:22We are nice people and they are now our ally.
02:25Open them up again.
02:26You can see here, they're allies.
02:27Now, they're actually giving us now a portion of their income.
02:30You can see that 80% of their income comes in, because they're our friends.
02:35If we were to upset them in some way, that income would go down, but for now they're quite happy.
02:40In five turns, I think they could actually simply ask them to join our empire.
02:44We could also start demanding things from them.
02:46We could tell them, give me some units now or something like that.
02:49It'll upset them, but, you know, it'll let us get some stuff quickly if we happen to need it.
02:54Okay, what else do we have?
02:55Now, over here we have a new structure, the Lost Library.
02:59We'll move an army onto there.
03:01The Lost Library is undefended.
03:03Now, since we're getting income from our vassal and the Lost Library gives 10 knowledge,
03:07if we were to clear it, which we will now do, we will get more knowledge as well.
03:14Okay, so here we have the Lost Library.
03:17As you can see, it's quite a big library, so whoever lost it must have been quite forgetful.
03:22It's being guarded by these chaps, Frostling Reanimators, coming to get me, shooting my chariot.
03:31Now, you can see, propping here is a Despair debuff, which means that the little chariot guy over here is
03:37going to be quite happy.
03:40Despair is minus 300 morale and 20% spirit weakness, so it's going to be quite bad news, but, yeah,
03:47no big deal in this regard.
03:48He outnumbers them quite heavily.
03:49So, this guy is a Tigran saber-toothed chariot.
03:53He is a kitty cat being pulled by more kitty cats.
03:57He is the cavalry unit, and his little trick is he can throw a sun spear, which is a ranged
04:01attack, which kind of makes him unique among the cavalry units.
04:05Generally, his stats-wise, he's not actually that impressive, but more than made up for it by his ranged attack.
04:10Also, you've got this guy, the Sun Guard.
04:14Now, the Sun Guard is the pikeman, tier 1, and he's a bit unique in that he's produced from the
04:18barracks, where most pikemen are produced from the warthorpe.
04:22He has also got a shield, a sun shield, which is a magical shield which protects against fire.
04:27It is very useful also that the sun shield gives a resistance bonus against non-flanking attacks.
04:34Now, you might notice that this guy's resistance is only 7.
04:36All Tigran's have minus 1 resistance to make up for the fact that they move at ludicrous speeds across the
04:43battlefield.
04:43You might notice that this guy, every time he takes a step, is only using 5 move points instead of
04:486.
04:49So, essentially, Tigran's can always move 1 hex further on the world map.
04:53So, beat up the Lost Sun.
04:56He's also using Guardbreaker ability there, which is another thing that the Sun Guards have.
05:01Guardbreaker means if he hits the unit, it'll come out of guard, so other guys can do more damage to
05:05it.
05:06We probably just want to finish this guy off, get him out of our way.
05:10This Lost Soul over here, Necromancer's Summon, will do more damage to upset people.
05:15So, Mr. Chariot Kitty Cat over here would be in a lot of trouble as the Lost Soul got to
05:19him, so we'll get rid of that guy.
05:21Tigran's Shredder is the archery unit.
05:23He throws magical throwing blades.
05:25Well, probably not that magical.
05:27They're sort of like boomerangs, but sharp.
05:30Because they can be thrown around corners, there's no line of sight penalty for them, which is quite nice.
05:35And they do bleeding damage.
05:37Well, don't do bleeding damage to Lost Souls, because Lost Souls won't bleed.
05:41Okay, that's the end of them.
05:44And let's go and shoot our new Sun Spear at one of these chaps.
05:50Take revenge!
05:51Revenge, Mr. Kitty Cat!
05:53Oh.
05:53Not very enthusiastic.
05:55Yep, from all of the super low morale, he has fumbled his attack, so only does half damage.
05:59But at least he set the guy on fire, so, you know, all's well that ends well.
06:03This, the Tigran Mystic, very special unit.
06:07Now, it is a support unit.
06:10Because we are Sorcerer, we can teleport.
06:12We have break control.
06:14It also has inflict stun.
06:16Magical thing about this guy, or her, is that she can turn into a Kitty Cat.
06:22So, she is a Kitty Cat who turns into a Kitty Cat.
06:24I think you might be noticing a theme here.
06:27Strategically, it's not the best option right now, but we're going to do it anyway.
06:30Because, you can't see it.
06:32Yes!
06:32See, we are now an army of Kitty Cats.
06:34Charge!
06:38Got him!
06:39Yes!
06:41See?
06:41Kitty Cat vengeance.
06:42What else have we got?
06:43The Prowler.
06:44The Prowler is a normal infantryman.
06:46He is Tier 1, but he's actually a little bit more powerful than the infantry that most other races get.
06:52He has this ability, Coup de Gras, does more damage to paralyzed people.
06:55He has martial arts, so less damage from counter-attacks.
07:00Bloodthirsty, which means he does more damage to people who are bleeding.
07:02So, if my Shredder was to cause someone to bleed, he could come in and do more damage.
07:07And he has improved wall climbing.
07:09So, if he's climbing up on walls, there's no penalty for standing on the walls.
07:14Obviously, this comes with a price.
07:16He's more expensive than most infantry units, and he's produced from the War Hall, a Tier 2 unit,
07:19which is the same place most races get their climbing from.
07:22We also have the Cheetah.
07:24Cheetah is the Tigran Irregular, and he now, as we got from our race command thing, has the Hurl Net
07:31ability.
07:31So, that means maybe he can paralyze one of these reanimators to stop them giving us so much hassle.
07:41Tactical Immune R-ring.
07:44Paralyzed?
07:46Ooh, didn't work.
07:47Oh, well, if he had been paralysed, this guy could have run over and done more damage.
07:52But, as it stands, I guess we'll go and set fire to this guy.
07:55Actually, he's on fire.
07:56He'll probably burn to death anyway.
07:58He can only...
08:01And...
08:03Okay, and now we would normally be able to cast spells, but the Lost Library is protected by an anti
08:07-magic field.
08:08So, yeah.
08:09That's not going to be happening anytime soon.
08:11He burns to death.
08:13And, yeah, we're going to do...
08:14Oh, Brown is in trouble.
08:16Another sound, tactical decision from me.
08:19Oh, well.
08:21Bye-bye, Mr. Kitter Captioner.
08:22A sacrifice will be prevented.
08:24Okay.
08:25And now, um...
08:26Oh, wow.
08:27He's super upset as well.
08:28Not a happy place they've got here, is it?
08:31Right.
08:32Um...
08:32Right.
08:33Charge over.
08:34Munch them.
08:35Let's see.
08:36Did I bounce?
08:36Yep.
08:39Still not finished.
08:41But we've got another trick up our sleeve.
08:43Cheetahs have another ability here.
08:45Pounce.
08:46Pounce is a little bit of a teleport that says jump in behind a unit and hit them.
08:51Also, another bonus of Pounce is that we end up in Guard Road.
08:54So, if we were ended up in a very flanked position, which obviously could happen if we just jumped behind
08:58a random enemy,
08:59we're a little bit more protected from flanking attacks.
09:02And let's just finish this off.
09:04Run behind this guy.
09:05Flanking to death.
09:08Ah.
09:10Retacal Hedge.
09:11Vengeance of the kitty cats.
09:13We rule supreme.
09:17Okay.
09:18Now, the advantage of taking a lost library is it gives us a spell from our spellbook.
09:22So, we've gotten this spell, which we could have researched, now we don't have to, and 21 research points.
09:27That's quite nice.
09:30And, now, if we go back to our village, we'll see.
09:32It's now giving us a little bit of knowledge from the lost library.
09:37Okay.
09:38So, what else are we going to do?
09:40Spells.
09:41Right.
09:42Now, we have this spell here, Spiritual Freedom.
09:45I already mentioned we are part of the Keeper of the Peace specialization.
09:50Spiritual Freedom is a spell that's part of that.
09:53All of the new specializations have a spell equivalent to this.
09:56We cast it on the city, and every unit produced from this city will have a buff.
10:02It will also be dedicated to good.
10:04So, if we check out the Prowler, who is now Cheeper, because we chose that, I think.
10:11We will see that he has the Meditate ability, which he's gotten from that spell.
10:16He also has this, dedicated to good.
10:18Dedicated to good means that if we do not have a good alignment, he will be upset with us.
10:22At the moment, we're neutral, so it's kind of, yeah, we can just kind of ignore it.
10:26It's a minus 200 morale.
10:27If we were evil, it would be very bad news, and we really generally wouldn't be able to use the
10:31unit.
10:32So, the spell essentially forces us to stay good, but, in return, gives us much more powerful units.
10:40We want to defend this city a bit more, so we'll build a Sphinx in here.
10:43It's always good.
10:44This is the Tier 3 Tigran.
10:46We'll get to see him in action in a little bit.
10:48We'll go up north, see what we can find.
10:55Hello, Fjarnor.
10:57I'm sorry, that's a nice pronouncer.
10:58This is the bad guy.
11:00He has declared war on us.
11:01He is cold and mean and represents everything that kitty cats hate, so we shall take terrible, terrible vengeance upon
11:08him.
11:08If we capture this watchtower...
11:12Yep, we can see there he is up there.
11:14He's being...
11:15City is quite heavily defended.
11:17This, the Dread Reaper, the ultimate summon of the Necromancer class, along with an incisable army of Frostling units who
11:25seem to be sitting in tropical terrain.
11:27A little bit upset about it.
11:29Anyway, still much more than we can afford to cope with our little three-person army, even with an angel
11:33backing us up.
11:34So, we have to get another little army conveniently placed down here.
11:38We can send north for backup.
11:40We'll come up here.
11:42And we have a spell which can help us as well.
11:44Now, Rally the Populous is another Keeper of the Peace spell.
11:48Let's play the next turn.
11:50And I think that's everything for now, so end the turn.
11:54And, conveniently, our race commanders leveled up again, allowing us to choose a tier 3.
12:00This, typically, in a normal game, would appear in, say, turn 40 or so.
12:04We can choose between having better sphinxes or a cheaper fire temple.
12:09The fire temple is the building that produces the sphinx.
12:11So, we can essentially choose between making cheap sphinxes easier to get and getting an extra bonus from the fire
12:17temple, 20 knowledge in this case, or better sphinxes.
12:21And, in this case, we're just going to have better sphinxes.
12:24Except.
12:25Also, this has popped us to inform us that the new beacon tower, part of the new unifier victory condition,
12:33has been unlocked.
12:35The unity beacon system is a new victory condition that's put in in the expansion.
12:40What it means is, once you reach champion level of race governance with a race, we can build a unity
12:47beacon in one of our cities.
12:49Have a look over here.
12:51Here.
12:51Unity beacon.
12:52This costs us a ridiculous amount of gold.
12:55But, once it's produced, it will give our entire empire a happiness bonus.
13:00It will also give everybody else's empire a happiness penalty.
13:04This beacon represents the fact that kitty cats are destined to rule the world.
13:09It's so magical and powerful that everyone in the world begins to believe it and starts to riot against their
13:15masters.
13:16Once the beacon tower has been produced, we can then move forward and we can produce a beacon fire.
13:22As the beacon fire is being lit, everybody now super begins to believe that the kitty cats are the true
13:28masters.
13:28Riots go stronger and we get a bigger happiness bonus.
13:31Once the fire is lit, the unity beacon is completed.
13:36Massive riots all over the world.
13:37Big unhappiness penalties over there.
13:39Big happiness bonuses over here.
13:41And, if we can get enough beacons lit, we win the game.
13:45So, it's a sort of diplomatic turtling victory.
13:49If you can set up a big empire, defend your borders well enough and get these beacons up before your
13:54opponents do, it's a way of winning.
13:58But, obviously, we don't have time to sit around for the 40 or 50 turns it would take to achieve
14:02that.
14:03So, I'm going to have to leave that to your imagination, I'm afraid, and go back to the case at
14:06hand, which is this city over here.
14:10Okay.
14:11Rally the populace.
14:13Now, target enemy city suffers from blah, blah, blah.
14:16Okay.
14:16What this spell essentially does is upset the city a lot, but more importantly, it makes the city very likely
14:23to rebel against its master.
14:26And, hopefully, join us.
14:29Well, in fact, almost guaranteed join us because we're the best members as well.
14:32So, we'll bring this army up and, hopefully, next turn, we will be able to invade.
14:42Also, over here, we've got this army.
14:43Maybe we might as well keep exploring over here in case, by chance, there is another city that we might
14:48want to have a look at, which says.
14:51Deal with that next turn.
14:56Liberate the Shimi.
14:56Okay, because the spell has been cast on the city, they have decided that they hate their masters so much,
15:02they want to join our team.
15:03Join Team Kitty Cup.
15:05Liberate the Shimi.
15:07Please help us overthrow our corrupt oppressor.
15:09Yes, I will.
15:12Okay, now that it's been accepted, when we invade, the populace is going to help in the battle.
15:17They will throw the doors open for us, and they will have stolen military supplies, and will be attacking and
15:24joining us in battle.
15:25They will spawn units to help in combat.
15:28You can actually get this to occur without using the spell, by essentially making it so that the city likes
15:34you a lot more than it likes its master.
15:37But, it's a little bit too complicated to expect for now.
15:39Anyway, let's invade.
15:41Manual combat.
15:45Okay, here we are.
15:47We have come to liberate the oppressed kitty cats of this city.
15:50You can see that they've already thrown the gates open for us, which is handy.
15:55Now, this is a Tigran city.
15:57There's an explanation, by the way, of what Betrayal actually does.
15:59Oh, all of the enemies have minus 600 morale as well.
16:01They're very upset.
16:03Because they know that the people they're protecting are not supporting them.
16:10There's a crime business thing.
16:12The Dread Reaper ominously floating towards those guys.
16:16They were kind of rolling out of the city.
16:20They don't actually have any ranged units at all.
16:22There are very few ranged units.
16:23So, they probably decided that they might as well just come straight out.
16:26Because, yeah, not much point in standing behind those doors.
16:30So, see in the background, a nice bit of example of Tigran architecture.
16:34Big pyramids.
16:35Now, what's going on here?
16:37You might have wondered where this guy's come from.
16:39This cheetah has actually been spawned as part of the Betrayal.
16:42The populace are rising up and coming out onto the field of battle to join us.
16:47Rather unfortunately for this guy, he's not going to be contributing much since he's been frozen by a snowscaper.
16:53But, you know, these guys could probably help.
16:55You know, cannon fodder and such.
16:58So, what have we got?
17:00Okay, super cool unit.
17:01The Tigran Sphinx.
17:02This is tier 3.
17:04It is actually in a regular unit.
17:07Which means it is a combined melee and ranged attack unit.
17:12It has sun disc.
17:13It shoots laser beams out of its eyes.
17:15It can cause fear.
17:17And it actually does quite a lot of damage as well.
17:19These values are actually much higher than normal since we took the attack bonus option for race governance with Sphinxes.
17:26We've also got this chap.
17:29The archangel.
17:30Oh, sorry.
17:30It's a lady.
17:31We have this lady.
17:34She is essentially a tier 4 killing machine, as I've already discussed.
17:38She is going to be extremely useful for taking out this reaper.
17:42She's going to use the ability Meditate, which is the same ability we gave as the people produced in the
17:48city with the spell earlier.
17:49Essentially, you're going to pull your action points to give yourself a nice buff.
17:52She gave herself Equanimity of Mind plus 3 physical damage.
17:56Very nice.
17:57It will last until the end of battle.
17:59And what are we going to do?
18:01Let's let them come to us since they've so helpfully come out of the city.
18:07So we'll set up a nice little defensive line.
18:10I'm sure there's a tactical word for this in sort of battlefield stuff.
18:14I have no idea what it is.
18:16We'll send our little Sphinxes forwards.
18:19And the Tigran Mistrics can be over there.
18:22I've used up all your action points now.
18:25Time to use some tactical magic.
18:27We've got a lot of very, very powerful spells, as part of the Peacekeeper, saying.
18:31I think the most important, the most fun one, anyway, is this.
18:34Shield of Light.
18:35All of the enemies get 20% spirit weakness.
18:39And the target, use it on the Angel.
18:42Whenever she's struck, she will do damage and even daze the person who struck her.
18:48So it's a version very similar to the Static Shield that other units, as it's also going to get.
18:54Yeah.
18:54Other units.
18:55Well, more guys coming in to aid the cause.
19:03was the Ice Muzzler effect from the Ice Cream rustling unit.
19:07He's super upset, but can still obviously pack a punch.
19:10What are you up to?
19:12Invoke Death is a very powerful ability from the Reaper.
19:15He essentially counts for hit.
19:17Because that's essentially either you save, in which case your max hit points goes down by 40,
19:23which means you can get unshoted by a regular stood on the wall.
19:27Or you simply die straight away.
19:29So, yeah, this guy's really not to be messed with.
19:32But I think the first concern is to get this Ice Queen off our back.
19:38Um, how's the best way of doing that?
19:41Um, actually, this guy's probably more of a threat.
19:44Let's just turn the Ice Queen round so she's not a threat anymore.
19:49Okay, now, this guy can fly away.
19:53She's not watching him.
19:54Fly away and land here.
19:55We can start doing some damage to these guys.
19:57We're going to use the Laser Beam from the Eyes ability.
20:03Sun Disc.
20:05Now, um, a lot of these guys have fire weakness because they're frostlings.
20:08And the Undead have fire weakness as well.
20:11Certainly, um, coming in here from a position of strength.
20:14Notice it has a range of three, which hopefully means we can land on the other side.
20:17Do it again.
20:24Can I still move?
20:25Do I have any move points left?
20:26I've got a move point left.
20:27It's okay.
20:32Tactical genius over here.
20:33Right, blast him.
20:35Poof.
20:36Got him.
20:37Okay, now, you'll notice that when the, um, these guys, the, uh, Frostling Royal Guards die, they explode and blast
20:45everyone nearby with ice damage.
20:47So, kind of lucky me, I'm going to dodge the bullet there.
20:50Now, the Archangel is going to now completely murder the Reaper.
20:55I swear to you, the Reaper is an incredibly powerful unit capable of doing terrible things to lots of, um,
21:01lots of people all at once.
21:02It really is not as pathetic as I'm about to make it look.
21:05Bye.
21:06Oh, forgotten about that.
21:08Yeah, he explodes when he dies as well.
21:10Void explosion.
21:11Everyone nearby takes ice and spirit damage.
21:13So, it looks like he did kind of get the last laugh here.
21:16But, um, yep.
21:18Right, last thing.
21:19Let's, um, attack the mammoth.
21:22Probably best is to, like, hit him with, um, this castigate ability.
21:25Is it called castigate?
21:26No, magic balls.
21:28Castigate, seal the ability from the Frostlings.
21:29Okay.
21:30See you there.
21:31See under him.
21:33And, what else do we want to do?
21:35Yep.
21:36You can contribute.
21:37You can do your bit, Mr. Cheetah.
21:39We appreciate that you've come in to try and help us get your city back.
21:43So, you can pounce over there.
21:45Donk.
21:46Anyone else?
21:48Oh, we have a scout.
21:49Oh, of course.
21:50It's a warlord.
21:51And, um, in Betrayal, the city will produce, in this Betrayal event, any unit that it itself
21:58could actually potentially build.
21:59So, since it's a warlord city, it can make a scout for us, which is a new warlord unit.
22:04High-speed, light sort of skirmishing unit.
22:06Very fast.
22:08Try and, um, get in to join in.
22:11Mr. Anorax.
22:13So, over here, can you contribute?
22:15Oh, right, yeah.
22:16The Frost Queen.
22:17Aha.
22:19Um, anything we can do about that?
22:22Um, Fireball.
22:23Always good.
22:24Ooh, let's Safeguard something.
22:26Who is he going to pick on?
22:27Aha.
22:28Right, this is a nice example of something we can do.
22:30This Tigran over here, Cheetah, I've got five hit points.
22:32We've got Safeguard on it.
22:34That gives him 100% protection against all damage types.
22:40Ah.
22:44Unfortunately, he's already had 60% Frost weakness, so, unfortunately, it's not safe against Frost
22:48damage, so that might have been a bit of a waste of time.
22:50Might not actually work.
22:51But normally, that would keep the units alive, if they didn't already have a severe elemental
22:55weakness.
22:56Oh, well.
22:57It's only a cheetah.
22:58He'll be fine.
22:59Right, what's going on?
23:01Oh.
23:02Donk.
23:03Donk.
23:03He survived.
23:05He survived.
23:12Cheetahs.
23:12Now, yeah, cheetahs are melee units, and they're ranged units, so they really don't stand
23:16much of a chance.
23:17Now, this guy has set a pledge of protection on the Ice Queen.
23:22Now, Frostlings are actually a matriarchal society.
23:25The women are in charge, and these guys, the Royal Guard, are created with magic to keep
23:30them alive, which is how they have this sort of absorb pain-like ability.
23:33che gli permettono di trasferire le dame di loro,
23:37quindi è sicuramente una buona idea di killare questo ragazzo prima di uscire.
23:42Get him!
23:46Oh, yeah!
23:47Ha, ha, ha, ha!
23:48Do not attack pikemen con flying units.
23:52I pikemen ha un plus 5 damage bonus against flying units
23:54and take less damage from flying units as well,
23:56which is why my tier 3 unit just got murdered by a tier 1 unit.
24:00Ok, let's just shoot him.
24:02No?
24:06Ok, now the ice queen over here is slightly less protected.
24:10Oh, let's just hit it with the angel.
24:12Beat her up.
24:13Cronk!
24:18Awesome!
24:19Victory!
24:20Hooray for us!
24:21Ok, and there we have it.
24:22The city is ours.
24:24Now, normally when you take a city,
24:25it becomes occupied automatically
24:27and you have to absorb it or migrate it or something.
24:30Since the city betrayed its owner to join us,
24:33we don't have to do that.
24:34It's immediately under our control.
24:36We've got a nice new sparkly Tigran city to start doing stuff in.
24:39However, we are good people.
24:42We don't just want Tigrans, we want Frostlings as well
24:46because in order to win the beacon victory,
24:49we need two beacons and we can only do one beacon per race we can control.
24:53Come over here.
24:55This is a Frostlings city and as soon as we capture it,
24:58we'll be able to start collecting race governance for XP for them.
25:02Like this.
25:02Auto combat.
25:03Thank you very much.
25:05Now, if you look over here,
25:08new option releases Vassal,
25:10which will put it into the same state as that human city that we have to the south.
25:14Doing this will give us 50 goodness points,
25:16which is something that we need for a specialization,
25:19but it will also give us this,
25:2050 race happiness for Frostlings.
25:24Are you sure?
25:24I am sure.
25:25Thank you.
25:26Okay, so if we have a look at the Diplomacy screen overview of race happiness.
25:31Race happiness is a new system that was actually put into the patch.
25:34You don't need the expansion for the race happiness itself.
25:37What it means is the way I treat cities of different races
25:40will change how that entire race sees me.
25:42I am Tigran, so I get start with 250 points with the Tigran race.
25:47I've also got an extra 100 points of happiness for gaining a city for a betrayal event.
25:52Now though, the Frostlings, well, once the Vassalization is complete,
25:57I'll get the plus 50 happiness with the Frostlings too.
26:00Go back to the Tigrans,
26:01you can see me gaining race happiness XP.
26:04That goes a bit faster because the Tigrans like me.
26:07The happier I am, the faster I'll get XP with Tigrans.
26:12So, whereas before in the game it was possible to simply invade everyone,
26:16declare war on whoever you like without really facing any consequences for it,
26:20Now, it's much more important to decide who am I going to declare war on?
26:25Do I really want to declare war on this city?
26:28Because declaring war on a Tigran city, an independent Tigran city,
26:32could upset Tigrans everywhere.
26:36Declaring war on a Tigran city will reduce their happiness by 50 points.
26:39If that was to drop below say 200, then my Tigran units here would lose this nice morale bonus
26:47that they're getting from race happiness.
26:49Similarly, my Tigran city would lose the plus 100 happiness it's getting from race happiness.
26:58Also, it's not even possible to light a beacon unless you have 200 race happiness.
27:06So, it's vitally important to the new systems that you keep your race happiness up.
27:14But yeah, I think that's about it.
27:17As we would continue playing in this game, we would get more frostlings,
27:21build up the race happiness with the frostlings,
27:23and eventually build a beacon that shows the true eternal friendship that exists between kitty cats and snowmen.
27:30And in doing this, we can bring about a new era of world peace with cats.
27:37Thank you very much.
