00:48Hello, old friend.
01:01I met Susie on the towpath.
01:02Thought I'd come and see what all the fuss was about.
01:05Oh, blimey.
01:06It don't look too well.
01:07Well, Fred's been dead for 1,500 years.
01:09Fred?
01:10Shouldn't it be something like Ethelred or Osbert?
01:12Oh, I thought he looked like a Fred.
01:15Mr. Eddingham found him with his trusty metal detector.
01:18What I thought was yet another bit of old piping
01:19turned out to be Fred's ceremonial sword.
01:22Nice one.
01:22So, who owns the land?
01:24It was gifted to the landlady at the bounty pub by an irregular.
01:28But it's designated gracing land.
01:30More or less worthless to them, unfortunately.
01:32And she gave us permission to set up the dig.
01:34Thank you so much for joining, Mr. Starling.
01:36Susie?
01:37Ah, another VIP.
01:39Excuse me one moment.
01:40I thought you'd retired.
01:43So did I.
01:50Vex?
01:51Come on.
01:53Good job.
02:08According to his sale in Club Lanyard,
02:10the victim's Kit Harcourt, 34 years old.
02:14Club Commodore James Wickham's on his way now.
02:16You pulled it in?
02:18They did.
02:19Apparently birds come out to feed after a storm.
02:21They were hoping to see a red-necked bather rope.
02:23They got more than they bargained for.
02:27Time of death?
02:29Pathologist reckons somewhere between 4 and 6.30am.
02:32Looks like the boom struck him in the back of the head.
02:35So you think it's an accident?
02:37Well, I was a sea cadet as a boy.
02:39And risk of injury from a boom strike had drilled into you.
02:44Never had you down as a sailor, Brendan.
02:46Well, all I'm saying is that he must have been mad
02:48to even think about sailing this morning.
02:50The wind was gusting 45 knots.
02:52Why did he try?
02:53Do we have any witnesses?
02:55We're working on it.
02:57The incident could have been seen from numerous vantage points.
03:03Jason, can you ask the Twitchers
03:04if I can borrow their binoculars, please?
03:09Excuse me.
03:14Thank you so much.
03:27Of course, they're here.
03:32Of course, Tanika.
03:34If I hear anything, I'll let you know.
03:36Well?
03:36What's going on?
03:37There's been a death at the sailing club.
03:40Is it murder?
03:41Well, they're thinking accident, but keeping an open mind.
03:43And they're looking for witnesses, so if you hear anything...
03:46May I introduce Darius Gifford,
03:49professor of early medieval archaeology at the university.
03:52Mrs. Potts, I know you by reputation.
03:56Your remarkable research into the Ostia Antica excavation.
03:59That's required reading in our ancient history department.
04:02Well, that was some time ago, but thank you.
04:04Will you be joining us today?
04:06Sadly, no.
04:07I just came down to review the drone footage from this morning's aerial land survey.
04:12Oh, how exciting.
04:13Yeah, well, it would have been,
04:14but the high winds made the drone impossible to control.
04:18Ended up being blown back over the river.
04:23Um, may I see the footage?
04:27Yes, of course.
04:29I'll forward the download to the site laptop,
04:32but then I'm afraid I must go.
04:35I have a lecture to give.
04:38But it really was a pleasure meeting you.
04:41Likewise, professor Gifford.
04:42Oh, Darius, please.
04:45I think she likes him.
04:47Well, maybe she just admires his academic prowess.
04:50No, she likes him.
04:53Thank God Michael didn't live to see this.
04:56It's all so awful.
04:58Excuse me.
04:59Morning.
05:01James Wickham, Club Commodore,
05:04and this is Ursula Lidington, our honorary secretary.
05:06D.C. Hackett.
05:06Hello.
05:07D.S. Malick, thank you both for coming in.
05:09How well did you know the victim, Mr Wickham?
05:11Well, outside of sailing, not very well.
05:13He'd only been with us for just over a year.
05:15Kit was dedicated to the club and an extremely generous donor.
05:18So he was well liked?
05:20No issues with any of the club members?
05:22No.
05:23No, nothing like that.
05:26Would you agree, Mrs Lidington?
05:28Sorry, I'm not quite myself.
05:34I think she's still in shock.
05:36It's probably best if I answer your questions for now.
05:41Why was Mr Hardcore attempting to sail so early?
05:44Well, Kit worked in the city.
05:45He had to be at his desk when the markets opened.
05:48And sunrise is the perfect time for a summer sail.
05:51I often do the same myself.
05:53And this morning?
05:54No, it's gusting of Force Nine.
05:55I'd never go out in those conditions.
05:58Would anyone else be at the club at that time of day?
06:01Greg Cooper, maybe.
06:03He's our rear commodore.
06:05He's responsible for opening up,
06:06although he doesn't normally get in until about 8am,
06:09unless he's had a few naval goals,
06:11and then he sometimes crashes at the club.
06:14So he's a drinker?
06:15Rather over-fond of the source, but perfectly amiable.
06:19Sarge, just finished securing the perimeter.
06:21Looks like the boat store's been broken into.
06:36This is the second time in as many months.
06:39What's been taken?
06:40The consignment of outboard motors.
06:41They were delivered earlier in the week.
06:43Is the boat store alarmed?
06:44Yeah, the panel's in the corner.
06:46I'm their first point of contact,
06:47but the alarm company didn't call me.
06:49And here's why.
06:58Professor Gifford seems like an interesting man.
07:00Oh, yes.
07:01And highly respected in his field.
07:02And not bad looking, either.
07:04Really?
07:05I didn't notice.
07:07You should bust.
07:08I knew it.
07:09There you are, Mrs. Potts.
07:11Primed and ready to go.
07:13I'll leave you to it.
07:15You're not just interested in potential burial sites, are you?
07:18Not entirely.
07:19OK.
07:21According to the timestamp, the footage starts at 5.17am.
07:27Larry has said the drone gets blown off course over the river.
07:32There it goes.
07:35And over the river is the sailing club.
07:39Oh, Judith, you are clever.
07:43The body was found near the slipway.
07:45Oh, there.
07:46Is that it?
07:47Can you zoom in?
07:49Yeah.
07:51Now, there's the body.
07:55Who is that?
07:59Call me old-fashioned, but if this was an accident,
08:02why would anyone prioritise the boat over helping their mate?
08:06Well, the rest of the footage may answer your question.
08:09Oh, see that?
08:11A flash of yellow in the water.
08:12Where?
08:12Yes.
08:13There.
08:15Looks like a bag.
08:16And it's moving.
08:19That's it, I'm afraid.
08:20That may not be our only witness.
08:24What's that?
08:25The Marlowe donkey timetable.
08:27Never without it.
08:29So the first train leaves Maidenhead at 5.15am, meaning it would pass the sailing club at roughly 5.22am.
08:38Around the time, the person on the footage will be making their escape.
08:42Any potential burial sites, Mrs. Potts?
08:44Um...
08:44Undiscovered settlements?
08:46Sadly not.
08:47And I'm afraid we have to leave as a matter of some urgency.
08:51As does he.
08:52I think she might actually be stalking me.
08:54We always do our big shop on Thursdays, and we're hosting the Parish Council's supper tonight.
09:00Mrs. Starling, I have seen you, by the way.
09:05Well, come on.
09:06The fridge won't fill itself.
09:08I'm afraid I can't, dear.
09:11Someone has to man the fort.
09:12We've cancelled bridge twice.
09:14We've missed the bowls tournament.
09:16His silly little hobby is ruining our lives.
09:19And you're encouraging him.
09:23Sorry about that.
09:25She's used to getting her own way.
09:28You've got to love a strong woman.
09:37Something's troubling me, Sergeant.
09:39In order to get the boat on the water and those winds, he'd never raise the sail on shore.
09:44So why did he?
09:47This is starting to look well dodgy.
09:53We're on our way over now.
09:55There's something you need to see.
09:57What?
09:57Evidence that suggests it wasn't an accident.
10:00It was murder.
10:15Looks like you're right, Judith.
10:16And the victim suffered significant facial injuries, like he'd been in a fight.
10:20So whoever this is, assaulted Kit Harcourt, struck him with the boom, and then left him for dead.
10:24And then raised the sail to give the impression that the force of the wind swung the boom into the
10:29back of his head.
10:29You and Brendan are turning into the dream team.
10:32Maybe I should make you partners.
10:33You could be Watson to my Sherlock.
10:35Well, no, I was thinking more the other way round.
10:38There's also a break in here the same night.
10:40The incident's connected.
10:42It's not straightforward.
10:43According to the security company, the alarm was disabled at 2.09am.
10:46And if this footage is right, then Kit Harcourt was murdered three and a half hours late?
10:51Shouldn't take that long to shift a few motors.
10:56Find out what time the first train passes the club.
10:58We already have.
10:595.22.
11:00We need to speak to everyone who's on that service.
11:03Hi, thanks for calling back.
11:04My mate Jackie takes that train.
11:05She works at Tynum's Boat Yard.
11:07Yeah, I'll call in on my way home.
11:09Does anyone at the club have any idea what happened?
11:11Only committee members have access at that time.
11:14So far, the only people we've spoken to are club Commodore James Wickham and long-time member Ursula Lidington.
11:20Oh, I know Ursula quite well. She's a regular at church.
11:23James Wickham told us Kit Harcourt was well-liked, but I got the impression Mrs. Lidington didn't agree.
11:28Uniform's at Greg Cooper's house. He's not there and neither is his car. We need to find him.
11:33Ursula Lidington's still in the clubhouse. Maybe you'll have more luck than I did.
11:44Oh, I am never joining this club. I thought sailors were supposed to be sexy.
11:48Wait, what was that pirate?
11:51Bex?
11:51Oh, I'm so sorry, Ursula. This must all be a terrible shock.
11:55May I introduce Judith Potts and Susie Harris, my fellow civilian advisors?
12:00When something like this happens, the police draft us in to help gather information on the ground.
12:05And your inside knowledge could be crucial to the investigation.
12:08But I know nothing, really. You should be talking to James.
12:11He told the police that Kit Harcourt was popular here.
12:15James likes to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
12:18But you're not sure he deserved it?
12:20Kit was always charming to me, but he was ambitious.
12:23Determined to be a key player at the club.
12:25It's fair to say he ruffled a few feathers.
12:28Anyone in particular?
12:30Ladies?
12:31Sorry, James. I've completely forgotten the time.
12:33I'm happy to wait.
12:34No, no. It's nice of you to offer me a lift. I'll get my coat.
12:43I'll get my coat.
13:06I didn't mention the bag.
13:07Oh, Brendan, one more thing.
13:10Hit me.
13:10There's a yellow sailing bag on the drone footage.
13:14Beck spotted it close to the slipway before it was carried downstream to Marlow.
13:18Hmm, good spot.
13:20And if you've got time to look into it, be our guest.
13:22But we're still combing the crime scene for any evidence.
13:24Oh, then you might be interested in that tiny gold link.
13:29Where?
13:32Just there.
13:36Oh, yeah.
13:38Thanks, partner.
13:39I'm not a cowboy, Dias Perry.
13:41No.
13:42No, you're not.
13:43Let's forget that one.
13:45I think that best.
13:48Mrs. Potts, there's an app that can track local river conditions.
13:53According to today's data, the current should have taken that bag to the weir.
13:57I see.
13:58How clever.
14:00If you want to check it out, I'm happy to take you there.
14:02It's on my way back to the station.
14:03Well, that would be most kind, Jason.
14:05And I can use you as a guinea pig for my latest set of clues for the Marlow Free Press.
14:10All archaeologically themed.
14:12It would be my honour.
14:14Let's start with an easy one.
14:18Just like old times.
14:19You and me sharing a flask of tea.
14:21While those school gate queens sip lattes at Lorenzo's.
14:26We never quite made the cut, did we, Jackie?
14:28Because we didn't have a bloke.
14:29Or the right accents.
14:31Or any dosh.
14:34But now, our amazing girls are amazing women.
14:38We can be proud of that.
14:41And everything else we've achieved.
14:45Did I tell you?
14:46I'm coaching the youth squad at the sailing club.
14:48Yeah.
14:52So you'd have heard about the murder then?
14:55Some guy called Kit Harcourt.
14:57Kit?
14:59When was this?
15:00This morning.
15:02I read about the time your train passes the sailing club.
15:05I thought you might have seen something.
15:08I was on the roadside.
15:09The only person I saw was Greg Cooper.
15:11But he's often there.
15:13They also had a break-in.
15:15Again?
15:16What did they take?
15:17A load of outboard motors.
15:19Police think it could be related.
15:21Word is as an inside man at Marlow Marine.
15:23They supply all the boat engines round here.
15:25Really?
15:28So how did you find Kit?
15:31As a person?
15:33Sounds like you rubbed a few people up the wrong way.
15:39He did more than that to Dad.
15:41What do you mean?
15:42You know Dad was running the club members bar.
15:45Kit accused him of fiddling the accounts.
15:47Harry?
15:48No way.
15:49Dad denied everything.
15:51But he was forced to resign.
15:55Thinks Kit deliberately set him up.
15:57Poor Harry.
15:59He's a broken man now, Suze.
16:02Everyone in the boat community thinks he's a criminal.
16:06Business has never been so bad.
16:09You don't think the police will think he's got something to do with this?
16:13They might want to know where he was this morning.
16:16He just needs an alibi to put him in the clear.
16:21Can I talk to him?
16:23Could be important.
16:24You can try.
16:25But I've not heard from him since yesterday.
16:50Good morning, Toms.
16:54Have you lost some of it, Mrs Potts?
16:56Not personally, but perhaps you can help.
16:59A bag fell into the river at the sailing club.
17:01And the current should have brought it to the weir, but I can't see it.
17:05After a summer storm, the river rises, washes everything downstream at Dagger's End.
17:09Thank you, Tom.
17:10You've been extremely helpful.
17:15We're investigating the murder of Kit Harcourt, a highly successful investment banker.
17:1934 years old, single, with no criminal record.
17:23We need to understand who might want him dead and why.
17:26Key person of interest is this man, Greg Cooper.
17:28He's not at home, his car is missing, and he's not responding to calls.
17:32And we did find that broken bottle of naval gold, close to the slipway,
17:35which is the brand Greg Cooper's known to drink.
17:37Check out his phone and bank records.
17:39They could help us trace his movements.
17:41Other people of interest at the sailing club are James Wickham and Ursula Lidington.
17:44They gave conflicting accounts of Kit Harcourt's character.
17:47Do they both have alibis for the time of death?
17:49Well, James Wickham's wife, Hayley, confirmed he was at home at the time of the murder.
17:53Mrs Lidington said she was in bed, but lives alone.
17:56We only have her word for it.
17:58They're still talking to other club members, but so far nothing of interest.
18:01Is Hayley Wickham involved with the club?
18:02Oh, yes.
18:04She's the house manager.
18:07She's in charge of maintenance, staffing, and club kit.
18:11Her statement backs up her husband's.
18:13Kit was a decent bloke.
18:15The break-in was the same night as the murder.
18:17Are the two incidents connected?
18:18Could be a case of wrong place, wrong time.
18:20Victim saw something, had to be silenced.
18:23Anything else that might help us?
18:24Oh, I, um, we found a single gold link in the grass near the body.
18:30It's been identified as coming from a vintage wristwatch.
18:33But no one's reported one missing.
18:35And it looks like solid gold, so it's valuable.
18:38Who does it belong to?
18:39Greg Cooper or one of the thieves or someone who's not on our radar yet?
18:42Get the link and bottle fast-tracked for DNA.
18:44And we need to find Greg Cooper.
18:45And we need to find Greg Cooper.
19:43And we need to find Greg Cooper.
19:45And we need to find Greg Cooper.
20:04Sarge.
20:07I thought you might want a heads up.
20:09About what?
20:10I overheard Greenlee on the phone to D.I. Hoskins.
20:14They were talking dates.
20:16Do you think he's coming back from sick leave?
20:20Just as I'm getting good at this.
20:23It might not be that.
20:32If this is my last case as S.I.O., I've got to solve it.
20:49You really didn't need to come today, Ursula.
20:52I'm afraid I did.
20:54I'm in a terrible quandary.
21:03Whatever you're holding on to is making you very unhappy.
21:07Something happened at the club last night.
21:10Something terrible.
21:13We'd had a committer meeting that didn't end well.
21:15Greg had been passed over as vice-commodor, a role he expected to be his.
21:20Everyone else had gone home and I was missing Michael dreadfully.
21:25Always felt closer to him looking out over the river.
21:28And then I saw them.
21:30Greg had been drinking more heavily than usual.
21:32He was angry, humiliated, wanted to take revenge.
21:37You are going to leave this club and never come back or I will not be responsible for their consequences.
21:42Stop embarrassing yourself.
21:44You're done here.
21:47But do you think Greg is capable of murder?
21:50Last night, I saw a man I didn't recognise.
21:54A man pushed to the edge.
22:00So, I'm afraid I do.
22:04Sarge, the uniform just found Greg Cooper's car in Frith Woods.
22:08Traces of blood on the interior and another empty bottle of naval gold.
22:11But no phone, no wallet, no Greg Cooper.
22:14Well, we've got his mobile and bank records back.
22:18No activity since his phone was turned off at 23.38.
22:22Where is he now?
22:23He can't have just vanished without a trace.
22:25If it's Greg Cooper you're talking about, we might be able to help.
22:29The yellow bag I mentioned, I managed to track it down.
22:32What yellow bag?
22:34This one.
22:35We spotted it on the drone footage, a few feet away from the victim's body before it was swept away.
22:39You were all terribly busy.
22:41So, I decided to try to locate it myself.
22:44It's contents identify the owner as Greg Cooper.
22:53So, that's why we couldn't track him.
22:55Spoke to my mate Jackie.
22:56She said she saw Greg Cooper from the train this morning.
22:59So, he was there.
23:01But, why would he throw a bag containing all his valuables into the river?
23:04To cover his tracks?
23:05If he wanted to disappear?
23:06Or, it got blown into the water and he panicked.
23:09Had to let it go and run back to the car.
23:10I managed to get Ursula to open up.
23:13Greg and Kit had a fight outside the sailing club last night.
23:15Which explains Kit Harcourt's other injuries.
23:18What were they fighting about?
23:19Greg accused Kit of waging a dirty tricks campaign against him.
23:23Said if Kit didn't leave the club, he'd come for it.
23:25Doesn't sound like the harmless drunk James Wickham made him out to be.
23:28And we have evidence that places him at the scene.
23:31Where is he now?
23:33No, and if I wanted to disappear in Marlow, I'd hide out in one of them boats.
23:37There's hundreds of them.
23:38We can't search them all.
23:39You've got a better idea, Brendan.
23:42And there's something else.
23:44According to Jackie, Kit Harcourt falsely accused their dad, Harry Tynum,
23:48of stealing from the club members bar.
23:51He even produced accounts to prove it.
23:53Forcing poor Harry to resign.
23:55We need to follow that up.
23:57Sarge.
24:08So you are still alive then, Dad?
24:10I was getting worried.
24:12Tried calling you loads of times.
24:14Let me charge you here.
24:15But you heard about Kit Harcourt?
24:17Yeah.
24:18I saw it on the news.
24:20Remember Susie?
24:21Amy and Zeta were mates at school?
24:22Of course I do.
24:23Why?
24:24Well, she works for the police sometimes.
24:25Was asking if I saw anything from the train.
24:29Did you?
24:30Only Greg.
24:32Did James Wickham get a hold of you?
24:34No, I told you.
24:35My phone was off.
24:36It's about the keel on the Marlow maiden.
24:38He's querying the need to replace it.
24:40Wickham doesn't believe a word I say.
24:42What shall I tell him?
24:43Well, he'll come this afternoon.
24:45Look for himself.
24:46I'll show him the rotten keel and the paperwork.
24:48Then he can't accuse me of trying to swindle them.
25:01So that's it then?
25:03We're out at the end of the month.
25:05Landlord was refusing to give us any more time.
25:07All that land, nothing we can do with it.
25:10We can't give up yet, Mum.
25:11We can't give up yet, Mum.
25:18Heard anything?
25:20No, me neither.
25:22Just need to keep our heads down.
25:25Got to go.
25:26I wonder if there's a link between the theft and the murder.
25:30What exactly are you looking at?
25:32I'm not quite sure yet.
25:33I need to go back to the sailing club and try to make sense of it.
25:43Do you have some money?
25:56Do you have any money for this, Mum?
26:10I just needed a few minutes to think about the case.
26:16Carry on.
26:19Is it just me or was that really weird?
26:21It was certainly unorthodox.
26:24It's time for Cecil's walk.
26:26Look, I'm going to go back along the river
26:28and check those boats for any signs of Greg Cooper.
26:34Kit Harcourt's house.
26:35He's en route to the club.
26:37I may have just popped in on my way,
26:39see if the police missed anything.
26:42How are you going to do that without a warrant?
26:44What?
26:46I'll worry about that when I get there.
27:15Relax, mate.
27:17There's no way they'd want to take you.
27:19No offense.
27:48Afternoon.
27:50Come here.
29:01There's always something.
29:09Come on.
29:16Hey Susie, coffee?
29:18Oh yeah, make it a large one.
29:20It's been a long day.
29:23Terrible, isn't it?
29:24One of our regulars had his whippet snatched out his garden.
29:27It's getting like the Wild West around here, isn't it?
29:30Did you hear about the murder at the sailing club?
29:32No.
29:33Yeah, it's partly why I came in.
29:34Who was killed?
29:35Some young bloke.
29:37Kit Harcourt.
29:38They thought it was an accident.
29:40Drone footage proves it wasn't.
29:42When was this?
29:43Between 5 and 6.30 this morning, police are looking for witnesses.
29:47I'll ask around.
30:00Coffee, Dad?
30:01Oh, thanks.
30:03I'm going down, John.
30:05But we've got the meeting at the bank, remember?
30:08I'll be there.
30:25Ah, Mrs. Potts.
30:26Got another crossword clue for me?
30:28Not this time, Jason.
30:29But I was hoping you'd be here.
30:31There's something I need to borrow.
31:02There's something I need to borrow.
31:32There's something I need to borrow.
32:02Um, Judith Potts. I work with the police in a civilian capacity. Are you Hayley Wickham?
32:09Yes, James' wife. Can I ask what this is about?
32:12I need someone who might be able to tell me what Kit Harcourt was doing with this committee photo from
32:182003.
32:21Kit came to the house, said he needed photographs of members' younger selves for a fundraising event at the club.
32:27It was the only thing I could find. But the event never happened.
32:31I suspect he obtained it under false pretenses.
32:35Why would he do that?
32:36I'm afraid I have no idea, but it wouldn't be the first time he manipulated the truth to get what
32:40he wanted.
32:41You didn't like him much, did you?
32:43That's not what I said.
32:45Can I ask where you were between five and six this morning?
32:48At home, in bed. James always brings me tea around that time.
32:52So, if you're asking if I had anything to do with what happened, the answer is no.
33:08Anyone for a top-up?
33:09Please.
33:10Hayley Wickham claims that Kit Harcourt was dangerously manipulative.
33:15He'd made enemies of Greg Cooper and Harry Tynan, giving them both motive.
33:19Which backs up Ursula Liddington's statement.
33:22Both lines of inquiry are being followed up by the police.
33:25But there was something I couldn't get out of my head.
33:27The possibility that the theft and the murder were connected somehow.
33:34These are copies of photographs taken by forensic officers.
33:37I was curious about this oil spill and the smaller patches leading towards the door.
33:43Had our thief stepped in oil while stealing one of the motors?
33:47And then I remembered reading that engine oil is now injected with dye to facilitate detection of leaks under ultraviolet
33:59light.
34:01So, I borrowed Jason's UV torch.
34:05Nice one.
34:07Under UV light, the residue on the thief's shoes shows up as a trail, as illustrated here.
34:13So, as you can see, someone walked from the boat store to the area where Kit Harcourt's body was found.
34:19The trail ends there.
34:22But it confirms the connection between the theft and the murder.
34:26That's brilliant.
34:27I think we can work out what that connection might be.
34:30Hello?
34:34There's been a development.
34:36Someone spotted Greg Cooper from the river, walking down the Thames path at Bourne End.
34:40Our officers haven't located him yet, but we're getting closer.
34:43He'll be hiding out on a boat. I keep telling you.
34:46You might be right. We're looking into it.
34:48But there's something else.
34:50Alice managed to catch Harry Tynum at the boatyard.
34:53He denies any involvement, but has no alibi for last night.
34:56Harry is a lovely, kind bloke.
34:59And he's been a brilliant dad to Jackie ever since her mum died.
35:03No, he wouldn't hurt anyone.
35:05But we've got to face facts.
35:07Kit accused him of stealing money.
35:08It destroyed his reputation.
35:10Harry's got a clear motive.
35:14And there is just one more thing.
35:19I need to apologise for earlier.
35:22I was hiding from DCI Greenlee.
35:25DI Hoskins is coming back.
35:26Once Greenlee informs me of that officially, I'll be off the case.
35:32I need you to help me solve it before that happens.
35:36We might be closer than you think.
35:51So what exactly are we doing?
35:53Well, the engines were bought here, but stolen after they've been delivered.
35:57We need to find out how that could link to the murder.
36:00I'll take the sales office, set the plan in motion.
36:04What do we do?
36:06Go to the loading bay.
36:08Spread the word that I'm placing an extremely valuable order.
36:12You're masterminding some sort of trap, aren't you?
36:14I may very well be.
36:16But that's strictly off the record.
36:24Hello.
36:26I'd like to order a top-of-the-range outboard motor.
36:30Money, no object.
36:31All right.
36:32What's the spec?
36:35I'm not exactly sure.
36:41What model boat have you got?
36:44Oh, well, it's a bit like that one.
36:47Only it's blue, not red.
36:57Looks like he's in charge.
37:00Keep watch, and I'll check it out.
37:05Susie?
37:06Huh?
37:06Did you hear me?
37:07Yeah, of course.
37:42Hey, Jacky.
37:44Jacky, it's James.
