Check out the heartwarming moment the globally viral Japanese macaque, Punch, finds a new 'girlfriend'.
Sano, 60, recorded the baby monkey, who recently captured hearts across the world by clinging to a soft toy for comfort, with a new companion.
Now, visitors and commenters online are affectionately calling his new partner his “girlfriend.”
Punch, who reached stardom by carrying around a toy as a surrogate mother, has recently been spotted spending a lot of time with their partner, caressing and cuddling in front of an adoring crowd in Ichikawa Zoo, near Tokyo, Japan.
Sano, from Tokyo, Japan, has been documenting Punch's newfound love online with thousands of people watching his progress.
One user commented: "Why is he so adorable!"
Another said: "My heart is breaking..."
A third explained: "So beautiful! So happy for you Punch!"
