00:16A hero does not define your strength nor your powers, but your determination to do what's
00:23right. And the Avengers are the figures to be reckoned with that make up your mankind.
00:30They are the heroes of Marvel.
01:12If you could combine the likes of a billionaire and a genius, and hope for a positive result,
01:18you would only be half correct. And the perfect being so fit, that description is Tony Stark.
01:26Son of Sir Howard Stark, head of Stark Industries. Tony was assigned to the company following his
01:34father's passing. Tony inherited his father's profits and would go on to upgrade weapons of
01:41mass destruction. But due to his family reputation, his designs ended up in the wrong hands.
01:53This resulted in Tony to shut down the weapons manufacturing division of Stark Industries
01:58for a long period of time. It was during his staycation that he saw the idea of a high-tech
02:06weaponized suit becoming the next defense system, and his idea was brought to life.
02:12As narcissistic as he can be sometimes, he prioritized to accomplish goals and not dreams.
02:20In light of recent events involving alien attacks, Tony became more and more paranoid. Despite the
02:28protests of his teammates, he would go on to discuss his dangerous idea of a suit of armor
02:34around the world with his loyal and military friend James Rhodes, better known as War Machine,
02:41which is the focus of today's story. Tony, Tony, Tony. When are you ever going to stop relying on
02:49your tech to resolve an issue? Good to see you too, Rhodey. Two alien attacks in one week.
02:54I don't know whether to feel jealous or relieved to be in the military while you have all the fun.
02:59I wouldn't say I enjoy dealing with these extraterrestrial threats.
03:03Why? Talk to me, buddy. What's going on?
03:06I'm going to go ahead with the artificial intelligence peacekeeping program.
03:11Don't you think it might be too early to design such a unit?
03:15Rhodes, we just experienced two alien attacks in a row, like you said, and you're not a bit worried?
03:20Are you saying that your group of friends for Avengers aren't capable of handling their own?
03:24Eh, Avengers, but close enough. Beg pardon, Avengers. I thought the Avenger initiative was meant to deal
03:31with these kinds of threats. How long can it last though? What are the chances of the Kree race
03:36upping their tech? Can you honestly say what I'm planning is wrong? I rest my case then.
03:43That doesn't mean you're on the path of righteousness. You definitely have a habit of going solo, Stark.
03:52But most of the time though, it ends in disaster.
03:55I'm sorry, did I give you permission to eavesdrop?
03:57You're starting to become a loose cannon, Stark. It is my job to keep this initiative on firm ground.
04:04Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm going to go through with this whether you or the others like
04:08it or not.
04:08Okay, Tony, Tony, just stop for a moment and take a breath.
04:11No, I know what I am doing. And I know what will be best going forward.
04:16If any of you give me one reason why it won't be the case, just one, then I'll wave my
04:21white flag.
04:22We can't. Only you can. And you can prove it to us with this little mission I have for you.
04:29Let me guess. Spaceships? Aliens? Dogs with a helmet?
04:33No, no, and stop talking rubbish. Stark Industries has been compromised.
04:40How? By who?
04:42A genius, Stark, who's got the taste of the theatrical, like you.
04:47His name's Herman Scholtz, or better known as Shocker.
04:52Once an engineer who then turned to the life of crime, the robbery type.
04:58Robbed four banks at this point.
05:00Earned him enough to design his own robot.
05:02How the hell did he manage to rob a bank, let alone four, given today's technology?
05:08He managed to do so because of these...
05:15Electrical gauntlets.
05:18That can override default systems and pretty much anything else that runs on electricity.
05:24What's it Stark Industries that's in value use to this Herman guy?
05:27We don't know.
05:29But judging it's a weapons factory, he could be looking to, I don't know, upgrade his weapons.
05:36Well, what if he decides to set off something more exciting?
05:39Like nukes.
05:40Exactly.
05:41He must have overridden the security systems.
05:44But that doesn't matter.
05:45Shouldn't this be a police matter?
05:47Yeah, about that.
05:49Scholtz has an army of his own guarding for reception.
05:51Then call in the Avengers.
05:53Get them to deal with it.
05:54I'm afraid not all of them are available.
05:57Are you joking?
05:58Who isn't unavailable?
06:00Thor?
06:01Half-world, attending his brother's trial.
06:03Ant-Man and Wasp?
06:04Family crisis.
06:05Surely Hulk is free?
06:06On vacation to call himself down.
06:10Let me guess, Cap and Nat are the only ones available.
06:14Yes, they can work out a strategy.
06:16But they don't have what you have, Stark.
06:20What's that?
06:21Your tech.
06:24Touché.
06:25All right, I'll sort this one out.
06:27Good.
06:29Rhodey?
06:29You can help him out as well.
06:32Me, sir?
06:33They don't call you for war machine for nothing, do they?
06:36No, sir, absolutely.
06:38I always wanted to take out a droid anyways.
06:41Good.
06:43Get to it, lads.
06:44Yes, sir.
06:45Yes, Colonel.
06:46I mean, sir.
06:47Excuse me.
07:01If we pull this off, Tony, will you put your AI unit idea to rest?
07:06Eh, don't push your luck, Rhodey.
07:07You got the suit.
07:08I got the brains.
07:09Move on.
07:11I count four gunmen.
07:13No sign of Skoltz, though.
07:15How do you want to do this?
07:17I say we go through the south exit.
07:20There'll have less men there.
07:21I don't know about you, but I think it was best we left Hulk out of this.
07:25I mean, what good would it do to Stark having him destroy his father's work?
07:30That's something you have to ask Stark.
07:34Speak of the devil.
07:45Captain?
07:47Mr. Stark.
07:48What have we got?
07:49Foreman guarding for reception.
07:51All the exes are occupied.
07:53Has Herman made a move yet?
07:55Besides some electrical displays, it's all been quiet.
08:01The building's gone into armed protocol.
08:03The entire building's gone into shutdown.
08:05Nobody can get out.
08:07But nobody can get in either.
08:09Not unless I deactivate the lockdown.
08:12Which by then, all hell will break loose.
08:15They'll very likely hack your droid as their force of defense.
08:18Who is this?
08:19James Rhodes.
08:21His codename's war machine.
08:22The same war machine that just randomly took your prototype suits?
08:27Don't you start, please.
08:30Right.
08:31I'm gonna override the security system.
08:33As soon as the doors open, I'll go in and take care of Herman.
08:37Rhodey, you deal with his prototype.
08:39And you two, take the entrance.
08:41Anyone comes out with a gun, take them out.
08:44Very well.
08:45Let's do this.
08:46Right.
08:48Reopening Stark Industries in three, two, one.
09:01Here we go.
09:08That's what we talk about Nina's Medic.
09:11If you take the exit door, you want to 서로 tag those listings?
09:11Got a pit drum, out on the funnel too!
09:43Avengers Assemble
10:18I don't know.
10:20Let's go.
10:54Tony Stark.
10:57You have some nerve to be a one-man army to investigate your precious company.
11:02Let me guess. I gave you a reason to hate me.
11:05Of course. You stole my blueprints.
11:09Just to upgrade your hunk of junk armor.
11:12In my defense, I was only borrowing your blueprints to get some influence.
11:17Is that what this is about?
11:18Because if it is, I'll happily give you credit.
11:24Credit this!
11:32Power. 69% capacity.
11:35Huh. How about that?
11:36That's epic.
11:37Man.
11:40Come on.
11:44Come on.
11:45Come on.
11:55Let's go.
11:56Come on.
12:00Let's go.
12:21Never in my lifetime have I ever thought I'd be doing favors for someone like Stark.
12:25Tippy Fairey's funding the Avengers with his millions out of the goodness of his heart. We do owe it to
12:31him.
12:40Hi there.
12:44Scott, I thought you guys were unavailable.
12:46We're just popping by here to borrow a piece of tech from Stark.
12:50And before you ask, this is for an urgent matter so please don't ask.
12:54Can I at least ask what the matter is then?
12:56We'll explain everything later. Right now, this is important.
13:40That does it.
13:41Right. That does it.
13:53Right, buddy. Say hello to my little friend. The ex-wife.
14:03Boom.
14:21Hmm.
14:21Hmm.
14:22Hmm.
14:35I heard that's meant to be keeping you alive. You stole my blueprints.
14:45Well, you should probably consider this a career ending performance.
14:48Ow!
14:49.
14:49.
14:49.
14:49.
14:50.
14:50.
14:51.
14:55.
14:55.
15:12Why don't you say whatever speech you have, Stark, and finish me off?
15:17No, I don't think I will. Once again, you provided me influence on a future design.
15:25Don't worry, I'll be sure to give you credit this time.
15:40What happened to you, buddy? You look as though you've been in an electrical sauna.
15:45Just another day at work, detaining another employee with envy.
15:54Those aren't mine, right?
15:55Don't worry, they aren't.
15:59Rhodes, you did brilliantly out there.
16:01It was nothing, Captain.
16:03We could use a soldier like you in the Avenger Initiative, if you happen to be interested.
16:12Thank you. But I'm mainly here to support my buddy. I'll think about it though.
16:18Brows before hoes.
16:29Stark, before you even think of anything, please think about what we achieved today, and what we're capable of.
16:36Because as far as I'm concerned, the safest hands are still our own.
16:44Come on, bud. Your bar's calling us. Let's drain our stress away out on your finest cocktail.
16:49Yeah. Yeah, I'll take you up on that. Thanks, buddy. Let's do it.
16:54Are we allowed to tag along?
16:56Yes. Feel free to do what you want. And I'll do the same.
17:19War Machine
17:20War Machine proved himself to be a valiant addition to the team.
17:23He was offered a place with the Avengers, but Colonel James Rhodes decided to remain with the Air Force for
17:30the time being.
17:32Herman Schultz was arrested on several accounts of robbery and is awaiting trial.
17:38I wish I could say that all this convinced Stark to reconsider his plan for the peacekeeping program.
17:44But I'm afraid to say that the Avengers won't be hearing the last of it.
17:49But that's a story for another time.
17:52To this day, Stark remains oblivious that a sting from Wasp was what gave him the upper hand to take
17:59down Schultz.
18:01Now, I'm sure you're wondering by now, what were Ant-Man and Wasp doing at Stark Industries in the first
18:07place,
18:08when they were supposedly away dealing with a family crisis?
18:13Well, I must inform you that they are currently on a mission of their own,
18:18and their presence at Stark Industries was valid to their mission.
18:22But those events will be discussed next time.
