00:23It's four years and counting that Mr. Rivero has been awaiting a minor operation to remove a kidney stent which
00:30was implanted at the North Central Regional Health Authority as a temporary solution to his kidney stones problem.
00:38Mr. Rivero says over the years, he dutifully attended clinic but was told that the laser machine to perform the
00:45operation was not functional.
00:48In December 2025, he was referred to the Arema General Hospital to have the operation done but was sent back
00:56to Mount Hope.
00:58He says Mount Hope sent him back to Arema in January, only to have Arema refer him back to Mount
01:05Hope.
01:06Arema tell me the laser machine in Mount Hope are up and working.

01:25Mr. Rivero tells TV6 News he last attended clinic in February.

01:33And when the 13th, which is Friday, they do the blood test and the ECG.

01:46He says he visited the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, hoping for a dress, but none came.
01:52I now come out of the Ministry of Health.
01:55The Ministry of Health telling me, I have to get a bank statement.
01:59I have to get a utility bill.
02:02I have to get my blood paper.
02:04I have to get my ID card photocopy back in front.
02:08You know when I was to go in?
02:09I never get all of that.
02:11I went to them to let them know what is my situation.

02:34TV6 News contacted the North Central Regional Health Authority and they have reached out to Mr. Rivero to rectify the
02:42issue.
02:43TV6 gets results.
