National capital authority under pressure over building high rises

The national capital authority had faced backlash over it proposed zoning changes around a key intersection in Canberra’s south. If it went ahead, the land surrounding Hume circle at the juncture of Griffith, Kingston, Fyshwick, and Narrabundah could be developed into high-rise apartment blocks. Residents lived in the path of the planned developments, say the NCA has left them in the dark over the future of their homes.
