Busy Bees Nurseries is among hundreds of employers identified by the government as owing money to workers through minimum wage underpayments. The company says the issue was due to errors that have since been corrected.

00:10has published a list covering the years 2023 and 2024. Busy Bees Nurseries, headquartered
00:18in Burntwood, ranks top for the number of workers owed money and fourth for the total
00:24owed. The figures show more than £485,000 was underpaid to 9,056 staff. Busy Bees says
00:35the shortfall was caused by inadvertent errors which were corrected and it apologised to employees.
00:41They say they're now working with the HMRC to resolve the issue.
