00:00Hi, I'm Ken. And I'm Chloe. We're going for the Town of Culture 2028. It all started because, well, Fringe
00:09Festival is an enormous part of Hazelmere, and it sort of all transpired that actually we want the whole of
00:15Hazelmere to celebrate, and we don't just want it to be for the weekend. We want it to be for
00:18months beforehand, and we want everyone involved, and we want everyone's art involved, and we want everything to look beautiful,
00:25and we want the festival to last for months.
00:28Hazelmere's got an excellent chance of being in the Town of Culture for 2028. It always punches above its weight.
00:34There's so many organisations in the town, so many events in the town. Certainly in the summer, you're probably talking
00:41about one or two events every weekend. So there is no doubt that we can actually win and be the
00:48Town of Culture 2028.
