00:00When I look out here across the opening to the Strait of Hormuz, especially at nighttime when they have their
00:05lights on,
00:07I see dozens of ships waiting for what they hope would be a safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:14There might be over a hundred ships waiting here, and on the other side, inside the Persian Gulf,
00:19hundreds of ships are waiting to somehow make their way through what has become a very perilous passage through the
00:25Strait of Hormuz.
00:27All of this brought about by Iranian threats, that they would attack any ship that is in any way affiliated
00:34with the United States or Israel or any of its allies.
00:37But maritime and trade data platforms do show that some ships get through.
00:44Eighty-nine ships altogether, since the start of the war, have got through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:51So who does get through?
00:53Well, first of all, out of those 89 ships, one-fifth are affiliated with Iran.
00:59There are also ships that are affiliated with India and Pakistan that have managed to make their way during wartime
01:06through the Strait of Hormuz.
01:08And other ships have been heading to China.
01:10But essentially, the situation that all of these ships are facing is that Iran right now is deciding who gets
01:16through the Strait of Hormuz safely,
01:18and who gets threatened with possible attacks.
01:24Yes, thanks to the Strait of Hormuz.
01:26So how we can do this?
01:28Sa principe
