00:00How about game number two? A game that we thought we'd get a lot of points. We didn't. 68-66
00:04final.
00:05Texas was a victor. Why? A last-second shot on the mark, pun intended here, to give Texas the victory.
00:12Yeah, Tremont marked there, but this was an ugly game, Donnie. I mean, they made a total of five
00:18threes, I think, Texas, all together. I mean, five of 17. They did get to the free throw line a
00:25lot.
00:25We told you that, right? They had 29, I think. They made 21 of 29, and they needed every one
00:31of
00:32those points. Again, if the threes weren't falling for NC State, and they weren't, we knew this was
00:37going to be tough for them. Here's Texas head coach here and his post-game presser after the victory.
00:42This group right here got back to Austin. It was not easy. We practiced a couple days, not knowing
00:48if we were in the tournament. Took a couple days off. I think talked to these guys among themselves,
00:54and we came up here with a clear mind, a good spirit, and I thought in a good place. Not
01:00that
01:00we played great, but I think a big reason we were able to win is that our group really came
01:06up here
01:06to win and came up here as one. They were together. Disappointing end to a pretty disappointing season
01:12for us, the way I look at it. We hadn't been very good in close games. We hadn't earned the
01:17right to
01:17win close games, and our season ended very similarly to the reason we're sitting in Dayton, and so
01:24you know, you are who you are in pressure moments, and we tried to mask some stuff, and we couldn't
01:29do it, and so that's why we're here, and that's why we're heading home.
01:33So now we're going to play in Dayton. We're going to move on. All right.
01:33And I know you have to play DJing for all those parts.
01:33And I know you don't do it.
