00:26The map is a huge part of this new
00:28player experience for Destiny.
00:30Now you can actually go directly from one planet
00:32to another planet without going to orbit
00:34first. You can just open the director,
00:36pick your new destination and go straight there.
00:42It's about getting into the action faster.
00:44We want to remove as many barriers as we can between
00:46your gun and the enemy's face.
00:52Everything you're doing on every destination
00:54is about getting more powerful
00:56and it's about getting the band back together.
00:58The Vanguard have been scattered
01:00and as a player it's your job to go out to these
01:02mysterious destinations and gather them back together.
01:05And everywhere you go,
01:06it's about growing more powerful and learning
01:08how to go back and take back your home from it all.
01:21One of the first destinations that you're going to go to
01:23is the European Dead Zone.
01:24It's an incredible place.
01:26It's the largest destination we've ever built.

01:30And we have found a refuge where we've built a camp.
01:33It's the place where humanity stops fleeing.
01:35It's where they decide to, you know,
01:37plant a flag, start getting strong again.
01:43One of our new worlds is Titan.
01:45It's a moon of Saturn.
01:46If the light can find its way back to you,
01:49then perhaps there is hope for a soul.
01:51That's where Zavala chooses to go,
01:53to heal his wounds and to recover from
01:56the assault and the defeat
01:57that he's just suffered.
01:58It's this incredible methane ocean with 40 meter
02:01high waves and there's an old human
02:03utopia there that's sinking into the ocean.
02:06These huge monolithic structures
02:08constructed by humanity at the peak
02:09of the Golden Age.
02:11There's literally no land mass on Titan.
02:13It looks like the ocean.
02:22Hurry, come on. I don't know how long
02:23this portal's gonna stick.
02:24Cayde is on a planetoid called Nessus.
02:27It has been totally occupied by the Vex.
02:30They have transformed it almost entirely
02:32into one of their machine worlds.
02:34It has its own native vegetation
02:35and the landscape has these incredible canyons
02:38that are actually based off of this, um,
02:40word I won't mispronounce called Te Pui,
02:42just like these Brazilian plateaus.
02:44And then we go to Io,
02:45which is this sort of sulfuric yellow moon of Jupiter.
02:49Io is the last place in our solar system
02:52that the Traveler touched
02:53before the collapse happened.
02:54And you can imagine that a place
02:56where the Traveler once appeared
02:57has a bunch of mythology and lore
02:59and mystery surrounding it.
03:01It's a very sacred place to guardians
03:03and particularly warlocks
03:05and particularly Ikora.
