A man who murdered a barrister at Perth’s Crown Towers has been sentenced to at least 19-years in prison. Cameron John Pearson had been in a relationship with Alice McShera, who he killed in an unprovoked attack.

00:02Alice McShearer had been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Cameron John Pearson in 2023.

00:57Justice Michael Gething said Pearson had expressed sorrow for the pain and suffering he'd caused.
01:03But he said it was a serious example of intimate partner violence and the sentence needed to show society's abhorrence
