00:06Alright, let's get started.
00:17Alright, we are back and it is May.
00:20Yeah, May what? Like I don't even know the date anymore.
00:23So it has been two months since we've been with you guys during Closed Beta 1
00:26and it takes time to actually make changes to the game and it's not a marketing beta.
00:31We are actually making adjustments based off your feedback.
00:35Yeah, so we've got CB2 coming up here. It's coming in hot but it's going to be a lot of
00:37fun.
00:38A lot of changes in the information below.
00:39So yeah, be sure to get all of the details on screen right now.
00:43You'll see when it starts, you'll see when it ends, and then also you'll be playing a bunch of new
00:47content.
00:47Yeah, we have new roles, we have a new map. First off the new role is the Wraith.
00:51It is Deadlock on one side and he looks on the other.
00:54This is essentially kind of a cyber ninja character that has a triple jump, can wall jump all over the
00:59map.
01:00Essentially the floor is lava with this guy and has an amazingly fun slide that's really fun to go into
01:04variable gravity.
01:06As well as the Spectre pistol which you'll want to fire in short bursts.
01:09And last but not least, the ability to stab people with an exploding blade.
01:12Oh, and I forgot the ability to slow down time.
01:14Yeah, I mean that's a big one, right?
01:16Slow it down.
01:16Yeah, you would say that it's probably a high skill.
01:18Very high skill character, yeah.
01:20And I think those of you who get good with it will really be able to zip around the map.
01:22Also, we have a new map known as Reactor.
01:25It's a map that kind of takes the boiling ocean that happened after the shattering and kind of reconstitutes it
01:29into Hadronium,
01:30which is the element that allows all this wacky gravity goodness.
01:33And finally, a brand new mode.
01:35Everybody's been playing Overcharge and Turf War which have their own additions and new additions, right?
01:40Yep, and we kind of tightened up Overcharge so that the kind of scoring happens a little bit faster,
01:44so you're not just kind of sitting there watching paint dry.
01:46But we also have a new mode known as Blitzball.
01:48It's kind of our take on that kind of sporty FPS game mode where there's a ball in the middle
01:52that has a lot of personality and will actually complain to you or compliment you depending on your performance,
01:57as well as having a shot clock that counts down and when the shot clock counts down it explodes.
02:01Take it to the enemy base, score, first team to eight wins.
02:04And it's voiced by a good friend of mine who has a very unique voice that you may actually acknowledge
02:09and call out at some point out there.
02:10How long do you think it'll take?
02:12Ten seconds.
02:12All right.
02:13Second they hear it.
02:14Pretty great.
02:15So we're really excited about that.
02:16But like I said earlier, we've been taking your feedback and making changes.
02:20So things like existing roles are getting some changes like the Vanguard.
02:24She can now fire her gun while using Afterburns.
02:27Yeah, she had a hell of a ramp up with that weapon right there.
02:29So by the time you actually get into the fray in the middle of the map, you'll actually be able
02:32to do some really good damage.
02:34She just wasn't that powerful in Closed Beta 1, so we really wanted to bring this character up a little
02:37bit.
02:37Yeah, so we've been listening to feedback, making those changes,
02:40and soon you guys will see that change list come to you along with the new stuff.
02:44And there's a ton of contests happening over the weekend.
02:46Free stuff.
02:47Who loves free stuff?
02:48And also a new beta reward.
02:51So last time we did the profile icon, this time we are doing kick decals.
02:55You earn kick decals for every match you play, up to a total of 16 during the beta.
03:00It's incredibly gratifying to kick someone off the map, have them die, and then know that the boot print is
03:04in their face and that you earn that in the beta.
03:06And another unique feature that we have in Closed Beta 2 is custom game and spectator mode.
03:10Yes, this game is actually very, very fun to watch, we've found.
03:13There's times where I'm in PAX or in the play test lab and I'm standing there just catching myself,
03:16oh, I need to get back to my email and the other work that I have to do.
03:19Spectator mode is really, really good, great way to watch the game, as well as custom game,
03:22where if you don't like the way that we've configured the game for the game modes, roll one yourself.
03:26Yep, so there'll be limited functionality within custom game at this point, but it's going to grow over time.
