00:00This video demonstrates the usage tutorial for the UM5-507G90 10-speed distance measurement module.
00:16To facilitate the smooth progress of the demonstration, we have prepared the following materials.
00:25Step 1. Module Configuration. Connect the Type-C port to the UT5-507G90 10-speed, then connect the USB port
00:34of the adapter cable to the computer. Complete the connection between the test kit and the COM-HUT.
00:39Open the Serial Port Debugging Assistant XCOM. The module's factory baud rate is 9 to 16008 and 1. Select the
00:46corresponding serial port and use the factory baud rate to open the serial port.
00:51Step 2. Base Station Configuration. Send plus plus plus via serial port to enter at command mode.
00:58XCOM sends the following command to configure the module as a base station.
01:02Send the command as shown in the figure to set the base station address to 0001.
01:07Send instructions as shown in the figure to set the target address of the base station.
01:14Send the command as shown in the figure to configure the number of collected tags to 2.
01:19Please note that both the instruction label and the base station need to be used.
01:24Send instructions as shown in the diagram to make the configured parameters effective.
01:29At this point, the base station configuration is complete.
01:33Step 3. Tag Configuration.
01:36Open another Serial Port Debugging Assistant.
01:39Open the serial port at the factory baud rate as well.
01:42Send plus plus plus via serial port to enter at command mode.
01:46Send instructions as shown in the diagram to configure the module as a label.
01:50Send the command as shown in the figure to set the label to 0002.
01:55Send instructions as shown in the figure to set the target address for the label.
02:00Send the command as shown in the figure to configure the number of collected tags to 2.
02:05Please note that both the instruction label and the base station need to be used.
02:09Send instructions as shown in the diagram to make the configured parameters effective.
02:13At this point, the configuration of label 1 is complete.
02:18Configure the third module label 2 as label address 0003 using the same process.
02:23The target address of the tag is 0001 and the number of tags is 2.
02:29Step 4. Range Test.
02:32Open three separate XCOM windows, base station serial port outputs ranging information,
02:37tag 1 and tag 2 also output distance measurement information.
02:41Step 4. Range Test.
02:41Step 5. Range Test.
02:42Step 5. Range Test.
02:42Step 6. Range Test.
02:42Step 6. Range Test.
