00:00People around Palm Beach say they're being driven crazy by a constant rumble in the sky.
00:06For months, flight paths at Palm Beach International Airport have been rerouted
00:10so planes don't pass over Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump's private club and estate.
00:15In late 2025, the Secret Service and the FAA blocked aircraft from flying over Mar-a-Lago,
00:20even when the president isn't in town, citing security concerns.
00:24That change shifted air traffic over the homes of other Palm Beach residents
00:27and across the water in West Palm Beach.
00:30And now, many say the noise has become relentless.
00:38But this fight over airplane noise isn't new.
00:41Trump has battled over flight paths since buying Mar-a-Lago in the 1980s,
00:45sued local officials in 1995, again in 2010 over a runway expansion,
00:49and in 2015 he sought $100 million, claiming noise and emissions damaged his property.
00:55Now, critics say he's finally getting the quiet he wanted.
00:58The question is, at whose expense?
00:59Palm Beach County is pushing the FAA to reconsider the routes,
01:02and some residents are considering legal action of their own.
