This video will show you how to layer a Baby Guinness, the iconic Dublin pub shooter that looks exactly like a tiny pint of stout. In this video, learn the trick to using a spoon to float Irish cream over coffee liqueur for a perfect, two-toned finish. While it may look like beer, this sweet and creamy shot is a delicious treat that tastes nothing like the dark ale it mimics.

00:00This isn't a tiny beer, it's a baby Guinness.
00:03This shooter was invented in pubs, in Dublin,
00:05and it's made with just two ingredients,
00:07coffee liqueur and an Irish cream like Bailey's.
00:10Pouring the Irish cream over a spoon
00:11on top of the coffee liqueur
00:13helps it gently float on top
00:15instead of falling to the bottom,
00:17making the shot look like a Guinness.
00:19It honestly took me a couple tries to get it right,
00:21but if the Irish cream does fall to the bottom,
00:23you won't get the pretty effect,
00:24but it'll taste delicious anyway.
00:25I do know this tastes nothing like beer.
