00:22Yeah, I mean Bruno has done it for a long period of time now in the big moments and
00:27making the difference in whether he's scoring or creating, he's normally around it.
00:34Yeah, two very different goals obviously today, I think he's got a really good understanding
00:37with Cassie and working with Johnny on the set plays and different things and spaces
00:42and what not, there's also the bit you can coach and then there's a little bit of the
00:46players and the understanding, they've got a great connection there with that and they've
00:51done it a few times before so that was good and then obviously the passing around it,
00:55getting in positions where he can play that final pass and it was one we've seen before
01:00and then he plays Benin as well I think after that so, yeah, there's not a lot else to say
01:05that I've sat here and said before about Bruno, but I thought he was really good and I thought
01:09it was a good team performance as well.
01:10The record is 20c shed by Kendrick Hoyland here, Andre, do you think Bruno can play this
01:14thing?
01:16Yeah, maybe, maybe, I'd much rather the points and us win than that so I don't think it's
01:21something you go chasing for, I think it happens naturally anyway but yeah, if he does then
01:25he's obviously created goals for us so I'd be happy with that.
01:43I think in some ways it's difficult to say, I think it's when something's decided and in
01:49some ways the fact that it was decided makes things a little bit easier and everyone understands
01:54the situation really so I think the impact he's had has been terrific certainly since
01:59I've been here and working with him and his influence within the team and big moments and
02:06goals and I think it was a nice moment at the end there with the supporters and having
02:10that connection and the respect I think so that was a nice moment and I think you'll enjoy
02:16that one.
02:16Andy?
02:18Can I ask you about Lenny Yoro, we just spoke to him in the mix, so what's he bringing
02:22to your team, what does he still need to do, how's he trained?
02:27Yeah, I've been really impressed with Lenny, I think he's still so young as well and he's
02:33a centre-back playing at that age in the league and for a club like this it takes a lot
02:42of understanding,
02:45composure, being able to cope and I think his personality and his character he takes it in
02:49his stride and I've been really impressed with him, I think there's loads and loads to come
02:52and layers more from him but I think that'll just happen naturally over a period of time
02:58when he learns in his experience but he's played a good number of games here and he's gained
03:03experience already but at the age that he's at he's doing really well and he's coming to
03:09the team and you can see him growing and the confidence and kind of natural just getting
03:16back in the flow of playing games again and playing in the back four which is something
03:19slightly different for him, I'm really pleased with him, training well, playing well and he's
03:23a pleasure to have, he's desperate to learn and does a lot of work with Johnny and Woody
03:29being a bit of extra so he's keen and he always wants more which is a great sign.
03:35Michael, when Rooney's been on the radio and said 100% you should get a job, how easy is
03:42it to kind of block out all that noise and when you're speaking to Omar or the ownership,
03:50what kind of conversation do you have about the future?
03:54There's not that much noise, is there?
03:56I don't know, he's your mate.
03:59No, I don't mean Wayne, I just mean in general.
04:03It's only noise if you listen to it I suppose.
04:06So it doesn't affect me one bit to be honest.
04:10I'm in this position at the moment, doing the best I can, loving it obviously and keep pushing for more.
04:19You know, we want to make the team as good as we can, we want to keep improving everything.
04:24Whatever's going to happen is going to happen but in terms of conversations we get on great.
04:29Just seeing Omar and Jason downstairs there and we had a chat about the game, how it's gone
04:32and all pretty open so it's all pretty calm to be honest.
04:39Today was a good win for us so we can definitely enjoy the win today and look forward to Friday
04:44night
04:44but other than that that's all I'm thinking about really.
04:49On Casemiro, Michael, whether he stays or not, presumably he's going to go, it sounds like he's going to go.
04:54How do you possibly go about replacing a player like that?
04:57Because it's not just what he brings on the pitch, it's what he does in the dressing room and behind
05:00the scenes
05:00and that level of experience with Real Madrid is almost irreplaceable.
05:05Do you need to almost replace the player and other players step up in terms of leadership?
05:09It just feels like you can only be a huge forward, do you want to guess?
05:13I think this is totally no disrespect because he's been fantastic, he's been a big player for us
05:21and been important in the dressing room and one that I've spoke to and connected with really well.
05:26But I think as a club and as a team players come and go somewhat bigger,
05:31some maybe are more important than others at different times but I don't think it's ever really about replacing them
05:37like for like.
05:38I think you can go in different directions, you understand what the balance of the squad will need,
05:44whether that's on the pitch, off the pitch, leadership, positionally, there's all sorts of different things going to it.
05:52Cas has done some really, really good things, certainly since I've been here and he's been an absolute pleasure to
06:00work with.
06:22Yeah, in terms of the club and moving forward it's difficult for me to get involved in too much of
06:28that.
06:30Bruno's definitely not someone we'd want to lose, I can say that but I can't really,
06:35if someone will be on that, it's difficult for me to go too far with that but certainly he's important
06:42for us
06:43and he's definitely not one we would want to lose.
06:47Michael, just going back to Casemiro's goal, obviously a very well worked set piece,
06:51how much time do you spend working on set piece and how did it come about that Johnny was in
06:58charge of that kind of part of the training?
07:02It depends really, it's a funny thing because I think sometimes you score goals and everyone thinks all of a
07:07sudden
07:07you've just been training set plays all week or you've been working on a certain thing all week,
07:12sometimes you don't necessarily always work on it but there's certainly the meetings and the understanding
07:18and maybe it's not always pitch time but Johnny spends a lot of time.
07:23And then giving the players a lot of responsibility as well and what they feel and what they prefer to
07:27do as well
07:28I think is important at the end of the day, they're the ones that have got to take that action
07:31on
07:32and the experience that they've got in and around that I think we rely on them as well.
07:39So I think, yeah Johnny's doing great with all that and working with the players
07:44and as I said Bruno and Cassie have got that understanding and Harry's a big threat for us in the
07:49box as well
07:50and it's obviously, you know, it's proved to be successful for us in recent games and we need to try
07:56and keep pushing for that.
07:59Hi Michael, just going back to Bruno, it feels like his influence on the team is more profound than ever,
08:04can you see anyone in the Premier League who's playing as well as him or has played as well as
08:09him this season?
08:12I don't know, difficult for me to say really, I think he's important for us, you know,
08:18he's playing in positions now where we need to find him and we need to obviously supply him as much
08:25as we can
08:25for all the team to make the difference but it's not just about Bruno, I understand that he's had some
08:34really important moments recently
08:36and a long time has been here but I think as a team and the importance of sharing that responsibility
08:41so it's not always on one player I think is really important and then it does make everyone else's job
08:47that little bit easier
08:48so he's not taking everything on himself which he shouldn't and he doesn't really for us.
08:55Alright, cheers guys, thanks.
