00:00Have you ever wondered why your life feels heavier than others?
00:03You do the right things, you pray, you try to live with integrity,
00:06and yet, your path feels steeper, your battles harsher, your pain deeper.
00:12Let me tell you something.
00:14It's not your imagination.
00:16Those who are chosen by God often carry storms that the world cannot understand.
00:21It can feel as though a target has been painted on your back.
00:25But if you recognize this, perhaps you are one of them set apart,
00:28marked for a higher purpose, crafted for something beyond the ordinary.
00:34And here's the paradox.
00:36Being chosen does not mean an easier life.
00:38In fact, it often means walking through valleys that test the core of your being.
00:43Trials that feel like punishment are in truth, proof of your calling.
00:48These struggles don't just break you, they remake you.
00:50They strip away illusions and force you to rely not on the applause of people,
00:54but on the steady approval of God alone.
00:57Maybe you've cried alone at night, wondering why suffering clings so tightly to you.
01:03Maybe friends have drifted away without reason.
01:06Maybe you feel like you carry a burden invisible to everyone else.
01:10If so, hear this.
01:12You are not cursed.
01:14You are not forgotten.
01:15And you are not alone.
01:17Across centuries, the chosen have walked this same narrow road.
01:20And every tear, every rejection, every loss was never wasted.
01:24It was shaping them into something extraordinary.
01:28Let's walk through the five pains that mark those chosen by God.
01:31When you understand them, your journey will begin to make sense.
01:35One, the pain of rejection.
01:38Rejection comes without warning.
01:40One day, people are by your side.
01:42The next, they are gone.
01:44You search yourself for mistakes, but often you'll find none.
01:47The truth is this, you haven't changed.
01:49Your light has.
01:50And that light unsettles those who live in shadows.
01:54The chosen carry a presence that convicts without a word.
01:57Just by existing, you challenge what others would rather ignore.
02:00So, instead of facing themselves, they push you away.
02:04Even Jesus was not spared rejection.
02:07His own family doubted him.
02:09His neighbors scoffed.
02:10Isn't this the carpenter's son?
02:12If the Son of God endured rejection, do not be surprised when you experience it too.
02:18But rejection has a purpose.
02:20It detaches you from human applause and attaches you to God's approval.
02:24It is also God's way of protecting you.
02:27Some people cannot journey with you into your destiny.
02:30Their presence would only weigh you down.
02:32So, when God removes them, understand.
02:35It's not cruelty, it's mercy.
02:37Do not chase after those who left.
02:39Bless them, release them, and trust that God is making space for those meant to walk with you.
02:46Two, the pain of loneliness.
02:48There is a loneliness that no crowd can cure.
02:51You can be surrounded by friends, family, laughter, and noise.
02:56And still feel an emptiness gnawing inside.
02:59The chosen know this loneliness deeply, because it is not caused by the absence of people, but by the difference
03:06of spirit.
03:07You carry visions that others cannot see.
03:09You hear whispers of eternity while the world talks about the weekend.
03:13You think in terms of destiny, while those around you only think in terms of comfort.
03:18And so, even when you try to share what's burning inside, you are met with blank stares, polite nods, or
03:25even criticism.
03:26This creates a silent ache, because you realize that the very things that define you are the same things that
03:32separate you.
03:32You love people, but you cannot walk in their direction.
03:36They pursue success, but you are chasing significance.
03:40They want to fit in, but you are called to stand apart.
03:44This loneliness is not an accident.
03:46It is purposeful.
03:48God often isolates the chosen so he can whisper to them without distraction.
03:53Think about it.
03:54Moses was called in the desert, away from Egypt's noise.
03:59Elijah heard God not in the earthquake or the fire, but in the still small voice alone in the cave.
04:05Even Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray.
04:09It is in solitude that God downloads the vision others cannot understand.
04:14It is in loneliness that your roots grow deeper.
04:17While the world sees absence, God sees preparation.
04:21And yes, it hurts.
04:25You may wonder why the people closest to you cannot carry the burden you carry.
04:29You may cry when your deepest prayers go unheard by those around you.
04:33You may long for someone to simply get it.
04:36But hear this.
04:38Your loneliness is not a punishment.
04:40It is an incubator.
04:43Just like a seed must be buried alone in darkness before it breaks forth into life,
04:48you too are being hidden for a season.
04:51And here's the promise.
04:52You will not always walk alone.
04:55In time, God will bring people into your life who get you,
04:58who share your passions, and who light your fire.
05:01Until then, the loneliness you feel is shaping you,
05:05sharpening you, and setting you apart for what is to come.
05:09So do not despise it.
05:11The silence that wounds you today will become the soil where your destiny grows.
05:163. The pain of inner conflict.
05:18Every chosen one faces a battle inside.
05:20Spirit versus flesh.
05:23You want to pray but feel drained.
05:25Open the word but struggle to focus.
05:27You vow to change, yet temptation waits at every corner.
05:30And then comes the guilt, whispering,
05:32If I truly loved God, why would I feel this way?
05:35But even Paul, the great apostle, confessed,
05:37I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on
05:42doing.
05:43The truth is, chosen ones feel temptation more fiercely because the enemy knows your potential.
05:49If you are called to speak, he'll attack your tongue.
05:52If you're called to lead, he'll tempt you with pride.
05:54If you're called to worship, he'll try to twist it into vanity.
05:58The absence of inner struggle is not always a sign of strength.
06:02It can mean surrender.
06:03Your conflict is not failure.
06:06It's proof that God's spirit is alive within you.
06:10Every fall is a chance to rise again, lean on grace, and walk with deeper humility.
06:154. The pain of renunciation.
06:18The chosen are called to let go, again and again.
06:22Sometimes it begins small.
06:24A habit.
06:25A song.
06:26A place that no longer sits right with your spirit.
06:29But over time, the sacrifices grow heavier.
06:33Friendships that once defined you now hold you back.
06:37Career paths that looked promising suddenly clash with your calling.
06:42Even blessings others celebrate may not belong to you.
06:45Abraham left his land.
06:47Moses gave up the palace.
06:49Paul laid aside his achievements.
06:51Each renunciation felt like loss.
06:53But it was actually preparation.
06:56In God's world, taking away can actually mean adding more.
06:59Isn't that wild?
07:01Every time you let go, you make room for something greater.
07:04Your tears of surrender are seeds of future joy.
07:085. The pain of waiting.
07:12Perhaps the hardest pain of all, waiting.
07:14The world races ahead while you feel stuck in slow motion.
07:18You pray, but heaven seems silent.
07:20You knock, and doors refuse to open.
07:23Joseph knew this pain, sitting in a prison while his dreams gathered dust.
07:27David knew it, anointed as king yet hiding in caves for years.
07:31Their delays were not punishment.
07:33They were preparation.
07:35Waiting refines character so you can handle the weight of the promise when it finally comes.
07:40Every unanswered prayer is stretching your trust.
07:43Every closed door is testing your obedience.
07:46And though it feels cruel, God's timing is never late.
07:49The meaning behind the pain.
07:52When you weave these pains together, rejection, loneliness, inner conflict, renunciation, and waiting,
07:58you begin to see the pattern.
08:01These are not signs that God has abandoned you.
08:04They are marks of his calling.
08:06Rejection shifts your trust to him.
08:08Loneliness sharpens your ear for his voice.
08:11Inner conflict keeps you humble and dependent.
08:14Renunciation frees your hands for greater gifts.
08:17Waiting boosts your faith and patience.
08:19Your journey may not be easy, but it is sacred.
08:22While others chase comfort, you are being prepared for purpose.
08:25While many skim the surface, you are being called to the depths.
08:29One day all those tears will finally make sense.
08:31You will see that the nights you spent weeping were seeds of harvest.
08:35That every no was a greater yes.
08:37And when the promise finally arrives, you will say with unshakable certainty,
08:41It was worth it.
08:43Every tear.
08:44Every rejection.
08:46Every lonely night.
08:47It was all worth it.
08:50So if you feel different.
08:51If you feel misunderstood.
08:53If you feel the weight of invisible battles.
08:55Remember this.
08:56You are chosen.
08:57And the chosen do not walk easy paths.
09:01They walk with purpose and meaning.
09:03Do not give up.
09:05The best is yet to come.
