00:26This time of season right now, I mean, I can tell the summer's gone.
00:29We're well into the fall, and we have no time for delays anymore.
00:33Four months into the season, Rick Ness is deep in the hole.
00:40I mean, at the moment, we're not even at 500 ounces yet, so we can't afford to be wasting
00:44any more time.
00:46If we don't see some gold soon, there's no way we're going to hit our 1,800 ounces.
00:50Just seven weeks remain in the mining season.
00:54Rick's now spent a million dollars moving a mountain in his Valhalla cut, and he's finally
01:01close to hitting the pay layer.
01:04This whole Valhalla cut here, you know, it's huge.
01:07It's probably the biggest project I've ever taken on up here, and, you know, it's really
01:11starting to eat at me a bit.
01:12If things don't go exactly as they have to go, then I'm broken.
01:15I'm done.
01:17Bailey's got a lot done in the cut.
01:18I mean, he's doing a hell of a job down there.
01:20It's looking like any day, we're going to be down to pay, and we need to get Sleucin'
01:24quick.
01:24We need to see some gold.
01:26The guys are with me on it.
01:28I know that.
01:28And they've been working their asses off, and that's just what we're going to stick with,
01:31because if Valhalla pays off, it could be the best decision I've ever made.
01:39Hey, Rick, you got a copy?
01:41Go for Rick.
01:42You can come down to cut.
01:55Oh, boy.
01:56Well, buddy, I got some honest opinions.
02:00From there, you can see how it dives right there.
02:03That's the slope, and then it continues there.
02:05But everything from, like, that edge?
02:08Yeah.
02:08I dug 25 more feet down, as far as that thing can go down, and it was just still pure
02:14clay.
02:15What do you mean?
02:16No pay.
02:21Rick believes an ancient dried-out riverbed filled with coarse gold runs
02:27across four miles of his Duncan Creek claims.
02:31The 50-foot pay streak is proven to run under Raleigh Valley and then downstream to Vegas Valley.
02:39Rick assumed this pay layer would be at the same 150-foot depth in Valhalla.
02:46But after digging down for over a month, instead of hitting pay dirt,
02:52Bentley has run into a 25-foot clay layer with no gold.
03:03Absolutely.
03:04Dude.
03:05It's all this clay.
03:06Like, where the do we take it?
03:0725 more feet down, that's...
03:09That's too much.
03:10Too much for this year.
03:12There might be rich pay farther down, but you think about it, we don't know what's down there.
03:17Yeah.
03:21I dug a test hole pretty much just across from that elbow right there.
03:24Yeah.
03:25To, like, the edge of that over there.
03:27But it's just clay.
03:28Oh, it's clay all the way to the next cut, man.
03:33Doesn't make any sense.
03:38Sorry that I've got to tell you, but, like, the ground don't lie.
03:42It's all dead zone.
03:47It's a smack to the face, man.
03:48I know we did all this work, but...
03:50Yeah.
03:51It isn't worth it.
03:54All right.
03:54Give me a minute.
03:55Yeah.
04:08We have no clue what's underneath this clay.
04:10And we've got to figure out something quick, because time's running out.
04:17Quite a bit going on today.
04:19You know, Rick's doing some soul-searching right now, looking for what he wants to do.
04:23So, a lot of thoughts going through his head.
04:31You know, I really thought that this whole Valhalla cut was going to be huge for us.
04:35Bailey gets out of this clay layer, we just have no way to deal with that this year.
04:38It's just not going to work.
04:43I'm out here with seven people trying to move a mountain, right?
04:45To get down to a little spot in the bottom that's got a bunch of gold in it.
04:52When I wanted to make these big decisions that would leave me, by the time I was done with this,
04:57with something that I could hold in that cell and be able to do what I want after that.
05:01That's the whole reason I'm out here, right?
05:02It's, you know, I don't want to be mining until I'm 100 years old.
05:06I want to learn this.
05:07I want to do it.
05:08I want to do it right.
05:08And I want to be happy after this.
05:11And, you know, now I'll walk away with nothing, you know?
05:16And that's, that's the opposite of the plan.
05:21I wanted to walk away from this with everything.
05:23And, uh, yeah.
05:31Is this, this whole endeavor could be the thing that makes my entire life great or it could be the
05:41thing that ruins it.
05:48I can handle it.
05:49I can handle it.
05:49I can handle it.
05:50I've been handling it.
05:51But, like, there's some names about it.
05:52It's just too much.
05:54And I don't talk about it with my guys.
05:55I don't talk about it with anybody.
05:56Because if I talk about it, it makes it real.
05:58And then I can't control it.
06:02It's just not where I thought it would be when I made the decision.
06:06And it's frustrating.
06:07And I don't, at this time I'm wondering if it ever is going to be.
06:14Yeah, I'm struggling more than I thought I would.
06:17Damn it.
06:17Damn it.
06:41There's no reason to slow down for me.
06:44If you've ever seen these retired people, I mean the biggest thing they have to look
06:49forward with this to walk behind the wife, go shopping, talking about things they could
06:54have done or should have done.
06:56They're dead already, they just don't know it.
06:58Not me.
07:00Back that thing up, let's go.
07:02King of the Klondike, Tony Beetz is on the verge of breaking records.
07:08There's still almost two months of the season to go, and Tony is already closing in on a
07:15massive milestone.
07:33Tony has three wash plants running, Slusalot and Findalot on the Indian River and the Trommel
07:42on Paradise Hill.
07:44To hit his target, Tony needs his entire arsenal of wash plants running full bore this week.
07:52Okay, back that thing up quicker.
07:54Let's go, go, go, go, go, go.
07:59At the corner cut, Slusalot accounts for half the Indian River's weekly gold production.
08:09My responsibility is while running this land.
08:12We've got to watch the fines and the forest tailings that build up, you know.
08:19We've got to get close.
08:22We've got to shut down.
08:26We've got to do it.
08:27There's a few more hands on the ground.
08:30We've got to shut down.
08:39There's a few more hands on the ground.
08:41You can see the metal separating from the edge of the drum?
08:45and that's not good you can blow up that end pulley and then uh you get a major jam up
08:51and
08:51then your runs get filled and you end up blowing gold out of the boxes because your runs will get
08:56full of rocks eh we got to do something about it a broken drum pulley on the course tailings
09:03conveyor has jammed taking sluice a lot out of action
09:12you can start digging down here you know the drill right start to the day though
09:19didn't think i'd be doing this a little bit of a project we can't just take the drum out
09:26we gotta take the whole conveyor off in charge of getting sluice a lot back on the gold
09:32indian river foreman cousin mike we're just gonna move the whole wash plan to a new spot where it's
09:39level sluice a lot's tailings conveyor removes coarse waste rocks from the shaker decks but four months
09:50of wear and tear has sheared its drum pulley from its shaft and the belt no longer turns to replace
09:58it
09:58cousin mike needs to raise the plant with its built-in hydraulic rams then drag it out with a dozer
10:07until it's free from the dirt next he must remove the conveyor and belt to access the broken drum pulley
10:16then install a replacement reattach the belt and finally fire the plant back up
10:26i can lift up the plant hydraulically every little bit helps as we can get it out of the dirt
10:33there it goes
10:39this is just so that when i start dragging we don't wreck anything
10:50we'll start hooking up some cables
11:00dalton do you copy dalton go ahead go ahead everybody clear you guys get the away from that cable
11:10and that cable snaps it'll cut you right in half stay away from it
11:25stay away from that cable everyone's clear tony beats wants to smash his 6 500 ounce season target
11:35this week and needs to get his wash plant sluice a lot back in action all right out we go
11:48cable's tight
11:56i already know it is now it's heavy cooling
12:07i'll have a look at it the plant free from the dirt tony can now inspect the broken tailings conveyor
12:16how's it going gentlemen see you got it out of the dirt
12:20you're going to make an old guy crawl underneath this
12:22how are you what the
12:24hi if he can't do that anymore he shouldn't be here oh what are you finding over there
12:31the tailpullies toast i found a new one let's see if it fits on each side we got a plate
12:38so we have to disconnect that plate take it off no just ripped out there's built for it
12:44but i wouldn't want to screw around in the back here hurry up
12:51okay i'll loosen this one up lent yeah
12:58let's do some lifting and then we can swing it out
13:08and then can you walk ahead a little bit walk forward
13:19you're free
13:22maybe walk another four feet
13:25i'll lift it up till it's free and try and keep it on the top that i don't hit anything
13:31okay good there
13:36yeah yeah we're good there well that was pretty successful
13:46yeah that's it
13:50watch your toes watch your toes
13:55so we finally got this bastard out
13:59as you can see it's ripped here all the way around so we'll first try to put the new pulley
14:05in
14:05getting back to sluicing as soon as possible if the shaft is wide enough then everything and
14:10hopefully that all works out but the other one is 56 and this one is 68
14:20uh-oh the one i brought is a little bit smaller uh-oh that's not gonna work so we need
14:31a new plant we
14:32like to hit a season goal so that plant's got to be up and running in order to achieve that
14:38until we
14:38come up with something else it's loose a lot they ain't gonna be running
15:01the gold in the ground is the gold in the ground but it's a lot of dirt to get through
15:08it's just extremely frustrating heading into the home stretch of the season parker schnabel's 10 000
15:16ounce gold target is in danger of slipping from his grasp we just need to keep the sluicing hours up
15:23we're gonna be hard pressed to get through that pit this year if we don't have wash plants running
15:28so we just hit 10 000 ounces we've got to sluice all of it
15:34last week he shut down both sluice for and big red parker shut down two wash plants to dig out
15:41the
15:41last of the pay dirt from the golden mile we have a major problem the dirt can't be in the
15:47hole anymore
15:48we could just start making pay piles while the crew continues to dig out pay parker wants to get
15:58one of the plants back up and sluicing so we've built two big pay piles big red's ready to move
16:05next
16:06to one of the big piles that we've got of pay but now tyson's taken some time off timing's not
16:12great
16:13well that's a wrap for me right now i drive to the airport and fly out to my sister's wedding
16:19while i'm gone one of the major things that really have to happen is moving big red
16:24with hyphen being gone brennan's filling in for him and brennan's going to get that plant moved
16:31this is the first kind of major wash plant thing that brennan's been in charge of so
16:38we'll see how how badly he can screw it up it's on brennan now shouldn't take more than a chef
16:48hopefully i remember how all the pieces go together here despite being a seasoned dirt mover
16:55brennan ruo hasn't moved big red in five years moving a plant's always a big responsibility and it
17:02does always give me a bit of anxiety if i was to be honest with you we have two pay
17:06piles that are the
17:07size of mount everest here to get through so it's all a massive race against the clock right now
17:14every minute the plan shut down is that many ounces of gold not getting washed
17:19parker wanted this thing solution tonight and i want to make that happen
17:26but i do want to prove myself here
17:37you guys are good with all this yeah yeah i was hoping to have it moved and set up today
17:41and
17:41washing rocks for night shifts so is your pad ready yeah better be
17:51don't break my wash plant
17:54he looked at you not me i should be looking at you first don't break my wash plan i can't
18:00promise you that
18:05hopefully these guys can get a wash plant moved hey paul we're ready to move this plant here
18:12mechanic alec kelly helps brennan move big red one mile to the far end of the golden mile
18:19oh this thing doesn't corner like a passenger car
18:24the main body of big red weighs 50 tons and clocks in at 21 feet high
18:43come on
18:52oh yeah
18:59plant off the low boy brennan must drag it into place on its new pad
19:08to make sure the plant comes up sort of square enough so we're not twisting like your pad here
19:14like wild river and then sort of like walk sideways out to leave enough room for big reds
19:25massive feeder belts brennan must maneuver the plant to the edge of the pad by dangling his 58 ton excavator
19:33Over the 50-foot drop.
19:36Feeling better about that?
19:38Yeah, now just walk here, far track down into it.
19:41How close am I?
19:42Ah, like two feet.
19:45Am I going to drop hard?
19:49Should be OK.
19:50Just lower your boom down as you go.
19:55You can just push yourself back, too, if you want.
19:58It'll dig in.
19:59There you go.
20:02It sure sucks having Tyson gone here, right in the middle of a
20:05plant move like this.
20:10Yeah, it's definitely feeling a little steeper than I thought
20:12it was.
20:19Keep it coming and stop there.
20:26That does look a little gnarly, eh?
20:28Yeah, not bad.
20:30You guys better make sure you remind Parker,
20:32because he looked at me and said,
20:33are you sure you finished your pad?
20:34Yeah.
20:35Dude, a lot of prep saves a lot of time.
20:37We've still got a little ways to go here,
20:39but I think you got her lined up pretty good.
20:42Next step, bring in the feed conveyor that delivers the
20:46gold-rich pay dirt to the plant.
20:48We can start folding up our radio stacker.
20:52Just cross things are looking good.
20:54We can start moving up our radio stacker.
20:59Hmm.
21:01That definitely won't last the rest of the year, that's for sure.
21:05This clip here, that clip there, and that one down there are toast.
21:11And all it takes is one bad clip to rip, and then the whole belt could be garbage.
21:19The metal clips that hold the 200-foot-long belt together are nearly destroyed.
21:28And we've got four seams in pretty **** condition.
21:31So what is that?
21:32What are you trying to tell me here?
21:33I'm really wanting to hang a belt on this guy.
21:36Are you serious?
21:36So we have one seam.
21:38We'll have more uptime for later, throughout the cold season.
21:43Oh, and how long is this going to take?
21:44If I can get it to the yard, probably six, eight hours, have it buttoned up.
21:48**** sucks, man.
21:49I told Parker that I'd have this **** thing moved in Sluice and by night shift.
21:53It's a really **** weird night shift the next day.
21:57Already near the end of the shift, replacing the belt crushes Brennan's timeline.
22:05**** has that pissed me off.
22:08You know, that's a lot of Sluice time loss.
22:10That'll be a 24-hour period of no rocks getting run.
22:12Those piles are just too big to **** have a minute of downtime, let alone 24 hours of it.
22:29All right, now Sluice-A-Lot is down, so I've got to figure out something, improvise something.
22:35If there's anything to get that Sluice box back up and going.
22:40On the brink of breaking through his season goal, one of Tony's top moneymakers, Sluice-A-Lot,
22:47has been shut down by a broken tail pulley.
22:51We tried ordering one, but now we're talking about a week or two.
22:54You cannot be **** down for two weeks.
22:56We have to come up with something.
22:58Certainly with all the crap we have, we can bag, steal, borrow, some **** thing in order to keep on
23:05going.
23:12Let's have a pick.
23:13This one, yeah.
23:16I was looking at that one.
23:17Here, this one.
23:21Nice and thick.
23:22Is the inside 17 and a half?
23:25Oh, that might be.
23:27Even if it's not quite, that'd be fine, too.
23:31That would never break again, eh?
23:34I don't think so.
23:37****, yeah.
23:39What do you think, Hoekstra?
23:40I think it's a nice pipe.
23:42Oh, boy.
23:43Okay.
23:44You're the **** out, I think she'll do perfect.
23:47Shim it, gentlemen.
23:48Well, it's against it.
23:50Yeah, perfect.
23:51Perfect.
23:52We should have this plan going before the end of the day.
23:55After finding a pipe approximately the same diameter of the pipe,
23:59diameter as the busted drum, cousin Mike and Lynn need to cut it to size.
24:05Knock this out, weld it on, bingo.
24:08Have a boost fix.
24:09Couple hours, they'll have the **** thing welded up already.
24:12I like it.
24:13I think it'd be good.
24:15We're going to do a boost fix today.
24:21All right, over there.
24:25First, what we're going to do is remove the side plate from the drum.
24:42So I just got to clean that up so that we got a clean surface to weld on.
24:47That will make a more solid weld, too, for the new drum.
25:08Now we have to line it up a little bit.
25:19Everything looks nice and straight.
25:22It's going to be a heavy pull.
25:26Double the weight of the old drum, cousin Mike must now install the new
25:31pulley on the conveyor to find out if it will work.
25:37If we can side it in, we can drop one side in, right?
25:40Try it, yeah.
25:41Beautiful.
25:43OK, I'll lift the other end up, eh?
25:55Can we put a chain on there?
25:57Yeah, I'll put a chain on this one, too.
26:00Yeah, I'll, uh, slide it your way.
26:07OK.
26:10That drum looks good.
26:11I'm very happy with how that looks.
26:17We are pretty much ready, conveyor belt's done, hanging back in the plant, and, uh, and we're
26:23getting pretty close to, uh, it looking like a wash plant again.
26:34There it is, don't move, don't move, don't move, don't move.
26:36See how that goes.
26:37We're in.
26:38All right, we're in there now.
26:40Right on, boys.
26:41So, uh, all we got to do now is just get it bolted up, and we're in business.
26:51Perfect.
26:53We won't get old enough to wear that out.
26:56Hopefully, we're getting enough to get our season goal in this week, but we'll see.
27:00It looks pretty good.
27:03We'll be there for years and years.
27:26Back to full capacity, Tony's in the hunt for his 6,500-ounce gold target.
27:33Hello, how do you think?
27:34I'll give you a warranty of 10 years.
27:35How about that?
27:36Okay.
27:37I'll be back in 10 years.
27:38Stay there.
28:05Well, plant's set up.
28:07Water line's in.
28:07And we're just waiting on Alex to get fresh water in the wall.
28:09get the radial stacker down here massive pay pile that the trucks keep adding to daily so we need
28:14to get through that after moving the bulk of big red in one shift stand-in foreman brennan ruo
28:21is itching to get back sluicing golden mile pain just keep buttoning a few things up here
28:28keep busy until he shows up with that so i want to be washing rocks here as fast as possible
28:36stopping brennan from firing up a busted 200-foot conveyor belt
28:43i know brennan was really hoping to get big red moved in one day but
28:46i've already slowed that timeline down i'm gonna get it figured out looks like it's still me myself
28:53and i here for this project there's no spare hands to help come on sex so alec will need to
28:59think
28:59outside the box this is to help feed the new conveyor belt into the frame of the unit just like
29:08that
29:10string this guy out we'll cut the old one off rip the old belt out this way the rope gets
29:15caught in
29:16the frame tie the new belt onto the rope go into that snatch block pull on the rope new conveyor
29:21belt
29:21goes in that's how we get it get it assembled we'll cut this in half and rip it off
29:31that's in half start pulling
29:34a long belt
30:05so we've got the old belt pulled out of the conveyor frame worked really nicely
30:10get my rope back here and then uh pretty well reverse the procedure tie the new belt onto
30:16this rope end and drag it through again with the truck get this roll freed up lay it out next
30:22to the
30:23the mighty zoom boom next alec unspools the 5 500 pound roll of fresh belt
30:39this is perfect
30:46brand new belt
30:48so i have to make sure that i don't cut the belt too short i don't cut it too long
30:56i hope this is the right place
31:05you can't tie knots tie two done hook the other end of that rope up to mr truck and sort
31:13of
31:13drive out that way and this guy should feed in nicely to pull the new belt onto the conveyor and
31:20avoid
31:21snagging or ripping the new rubber alec has devised a unique solution got a snatch block here just to
31:30direct the rope travel somewhere away from the path that our new belt will be taking to get into the
31:37the conveyor so we're not driving over the top of ourselves got everything rigged up there we go
31:44so
31:52so
31:55so
31:56so
31:59so
32:00so
32:20well we got our belt together i'm really satisfied the guys are itching for it and he's
32:25going to take the white kenworth there and hook it up to this guy here take it to brennan
32:30a day behind schedule brennan finally has the radial stacker back and is ready to test alex belt fix
32:41this is the moment of truth here we go
32:53this is the moment of truth
32:57testing
33:05well should we hit the shaker and get some dirt thrown at it i think so
33:11well i'm super happy to see the dirt going through big red again and i just hope parker's
33:16isn't happy
33:1824 hours behind schedule big red is back sluicing golden mile pay dirt
33:30you're washing rocks
33:32yeah day late and a dollar short brennan that's normal i'm more than a dollar short
33:39what do you mean you've got 80 000 yards of top gravel sitting there thank you guys for getting this
33:45thing rolling yeah you've got no problem it's a nice setup super clean i'm very happy right now
33:53we're going to have a hope in hell and getting through this pile and all the rest is going to
33:56come this way
34:17it's just clay nothing but clay it's got me by surprise right now it's just not i just wasn't ready
34:22for that you know come up with a new plan rick ness is reeling from a gut punch after spending
34:29a month
34:29and a million dollars he's hit a dead end at valhalla now he's expecting a visit from an old friend
34:40hey rick look at this how's it going man good buddy how you doing pretty good living the dream oh
34:46yeah
34:46good to see you how you doing i'm good how are you i'm great we were in the area i
34:51had to pick up a
34:52rock truck had to look at the rock truck this morning yeah rock trucks i need some of those i
34:56got 30 of them and i need more yeah price of gold is good everything is running good the price
35:01of gold
35:01is good i see what you and you and parker are doing and i'm just like man am i missing
35:04something
35:06depths that we're going though i don't know that's uh that's getting a little out of hand for such
35:09a small crew but every now and then we'll hit some clay band and that mess you need a lot
35:13of
35:13trucks rick yeah we need a lot of trucks yeah and for that you need some of that gold stuff
35:17funny
35:17how that is that's right we should just go look at it there you go let's try the race car
35:21how's that
35:24it's got no brakes right now well who cares holy that's a hell of a hole pal yeah
35:52that's pretty scary young man see this bedrock we're staying on right here yeah yeah and uh and
35:58it it goes down like that i'll have to come up with a new plan for that but and how
36:03many feet just
36:03lose 10 15 50 50 50 50 50 50 50 50 yes this is the 50 feet yep well that's
36:09not wrong with that
36:10yeah for the plus side for us yeah three to one three to one ratio yes yes any drill holes
36:15no
36:18vegas valley we opened up last year and that this is where the channel went down and we got all
36:22that
36:23out of there and there's still a chunk in there yeah that's a chunk in there if you attack something
36:27like this yeah 10 15 trucks if not 20 yeah go like hell to really yeah to really open it
36:33up yeah
36:33it'd be something that'd be something i can't afford that so nice project though yeah i like it
36:41it won't be until you get to the bottom right that's pretty much it yeah
36:51how did it go you learn anything new well you've got a hole going down there but it is 150
36:59down to 50
37:00pay so that's not bad in order to do this you know you should go in big a lot of
37:06equipment
37:08as we talked about put a pile in there somewhere but it takes lots of money that takes lots of
37:13gold
37:17it's worked it's worked so far you know we've uh we've definitely stayed alive but it's uh this
37:22one's got me worried right a few bucks going in there before you get it hi yeah yep kind of
37:29tough
37:30that's what's got me worried the most is you know i i was hoping to be at this point pay
37:34this off and
37:34start really putting the money away and now it's turned into can i survive until i can start putting
37:38money away hey you don't want to become a seller do i or do yeah i don't know sometimes i'm
37:47wondering
37:47well well put a price on the table
37:53but me put it right you put a price yeah put a price on the table then you know
38:00take it all no worries right
38:23would you sell this at duncan creek rick's just had a bombshell buyout offer dropped by the king of
38:32the klondike i would be serious interesting because i like these kind of projects
38:39if you want to discuss that i don't want these guys around
38:47at current prices rick's four miles of duncan creek claims could contain over 50 million dollars of gold
39:02you guys i appreciate you stopping by hey it's always good nice to see you it's good to see you
39:13rick good luck catch you later man yep
39:35it's a weird situation to be in right now just uh with what tony said i just uh
39:41kind of i mean kind of hit me in a way i mean obviously i know i know what i
39:46got here i know the
39:46value of it
39:51it just seems like
39:54uh at this point taking the money and running is just is it really smart or is it contrary to
40:03what
40:03i set up here to do you know it's a number with seven zeros on it gets thrown in your
40:07face like it's
40:08hard to it's hard to say no to that too
40:15i've never really been one to get pushed out of something when i wasn't ready for it but
40:20maybe i shouldn't be looking at it that way i don't know
40:23ah
40:26every time i think that you know i'm getting ahead i just get pushed backwards again and like you know
40:30that's it's whatever i'm not crying about it i'm here to take it i'm here to do it but like
40:34when is
40:35enough enough when there's a when there's a when there's a guarantee put in front of you when do you
40:39just say it i'll take that and i'll quit fighting um they've been saying like you know i was 30
40:47years
40:47old when i came up here 14 years ago and now i'm 70 but i don't know if that's a
40:50joke anymore
40:55you know yeah i'm not gonna have an answer today either so i got a lot to think about
41:27it's not a real wedding without you
41:27at the end of the week tyson has returned from his sister's wedding was there any good drama at your
41:34wedding no no boring no one pretty good man it's not a real wedding without at least one fist fight
41:42how did big reds move go brennan i wish you were there with us but we got it all set
41:47up
41:47had a delay though with that belt the radial stacker there and he's like i need to change the belt
41:52and i
41:52tried arguing with him you don't want to be the guy that goes to them at midnight and be like
41:56hey remember
41:57that belt and it's like minus 10 out the one you wanted to change like two weeks ago when it
42:04was
42:04still kind of warm and we told you not to but yeah other than not it went really smooth thanks
42:10for
42:10filling in while tyson was gone nice work man yeah thanks just hoping to make you proud there yeah tyson
42:16you want to see what bob did sure i think that says bob on there doesn't it oh yeah let's
42:21see how the
42:21bridge cut did first up parker's wash plant bob over the last two months it's been consistently
42:30averaging 150 ounces 40 80 100 130 142.7
42:46yeah bob's been pretty boring next up roxanne running pay dirt from ken and stewart's where last week
42:55it pulled in 123 ounces all right roxanne 60 100 120 130 134.3
43:12that's not bad finally big red sluicing the first pay dirt from the golden mile in two weeks
43:21here we go big red 10 20 30 40 40.25
43:34well you know brennan you didn't get a full week right you're just getting started so it's a start
43:38yeah no for sure last week we had 306.25 ounces this week it's 317.25 worth 1.1 million
43:50dollars
43:51so we picked up 11 ounces and season total 7365.8 ounces this crawling towards 10 000 ounces is painful
44:03at this pace parker will fall short of his 10 000 ounce goal we were racing earlier this season well
44:12i don't know how much i've told you guys but there is a new plant showing up so we should
44:15be able to
44:16slam through some yardage and so hopefully that makes a difference hopefully you're ready for a good push
44:33so we went and visited rick i told him but if for some reason or another he wanted to partner
44:39up but
44:40he wanted to sell the joint yeah we could go over there and dig a hole i suppose maybe we'll
44:46send you
44:47the keynote mike yeah yeah so you're gonna weigh some gold up or what we're almost at 6 000 ounces
44:58our
44:58goal is 6 500. to break through his season target six weeks ahead of schedule tony needs his three wash
45:07plants to deliver 507 ounces okay let's do it pour it in there first up sluice a lot running pay
45:15dirt from
45:16the indian river's corner cut 18 23 30 you got up to 40 50 coming up 60 going once going
45:25twice 70 80
45:2984.76 we might as well should have stayed home then two days
45:36you made it sound like an auction so once going twice yeah i'll take it anyway so what do you
45:41got
45:42next should we do find a lot now find a lot ran all week long also sluicing corner cut pay
45:49i'll count a lot
45:5010 20 30 40 50 70 80 90 110 130 140 148 148.96 oh you got more 150 170
46:09100 200 220 230 250 270 278.18
46:20getting very close that's getting very close to that season goal pretty nice little haul isn't it
46:24awesome now i really want to know what the trommel brought in be interesting to see what we get out
46:28of the hill to hit tony's season goal mike's trommel needs to bring in 144 ounces y'all ready for
46:37this
46:3710 10 20 30 40 50 70 70 80 90 100 110 120 130 140 60 70 180 190 200
46:58210 220 230 240 250 260
47:07260 262.14 that is a good million bucks on the table guys tony has hauled in a weekly total
47:15of 625
47:1725 ounces and that gets us over our season so there you go over our goal tony now has a
47:27total of 6 618
47:3018 ounces worth a stunning 23 million dollars
47:45we still have a month or so left so are we gonna up our goal we'll do the best we
47:51can and we'll see
47:52how far we get you and i have to go back to the hill you're in a bossy aren't you
