00:00We'll kick off with Alex from the BBC.
00:02Hello.
00:03Big win against your rivals at the weekend.
00:05And Jürgen said to still feel the energy around the place after that win.
00:10Can you still feel it?
00:11Yes, I do.
00:12And we have to make sure that we carry that energy tomorrow again to the stadium,
00:16to each individual.
00:18And I will play with the same, again, dominance, aggression,
00:22efficiency against that top side.
00:25Gabriel Martinelli and Nani Maguweke were back on the bench.
00:29Are they in contention to start tomorrow?
00:31Are they still available?
00:32Are we going to expect any new players back from injury in the squad?
00:36Yes, they are.
00:36And we're going to have a meeting now to decide as well on Martin.
00:40He was very close for the previous game.
00:42So we are hopeful that tomorrow he can be in the squad as well.
00:46Victor Júquez and Kai Havertz one-hour training today.
00:49How are they progressing?
00:51Really good, both of them.
00:52So in the next few days, again, I think they're going to have a repetitive scan
00:55to see how everything is and where we can push them
00:58or not for the weekend or the following year.
01:01This is the second big game in this week,
01:04the one you said you prepared for.
01:05How are you going to approach this game against Bayern Munich?
01:08Will there be squad changes
01:09or you can look to take momentum from that win against Spurs?
01:13With the same intention to win it.
01:16We have made that really good preparation again.
01:19I'm really sure one, but I think very efficient as well.
01:22We know the importance of the match.
01:24We are in a really strong position.
01:26We want to maintain that for sure.
01:28And we know that we have a beautiful and very demanding game ahead of us.
01:32Bayern Munich's first league, second in the league phase of the Champions League.
01:36So much attacking talent in their side as well.
01:39Players like Harry Kane and Michael Elisa.
01:41Are you looking forward to the challenge?
01:43For sure.
01:44And this is the kind of game in the competition that we want to face.
01:49And we've been very consistent in both competitions.
01:52As you mentioned, they've been as well.
01:54And tomorrow is a great test for us to see where we are.
01:59Damesh is going.
01:59Hi, Michael.
02:00Hi.
02:00Just reflecting again on Sunday and the atmosphere.
02:05I know you're talking about connection and synergy quite often in your range here.
02:08Is that the best we've experienced?
02:11That 90 minutes before and after as well?
02:16It has to be one of the best for sure.
02:18The atmosphere and the energy was created as well just before the game.
02:22I think it was excellent.
02:23And it makes such a difference.
02:26The players were talking about it.
02:27I hope our supporters realize what they bring.
02:30The joy, the confidence, the energy to the players.
02:34And we have to maintain and improve that constantly because it's a massive superpower that we have.
02:39During this season, on a number of occasions, the question that's been asked towards you is about set pieces.
02:48So the spirit of fairness, all four of your goals are from open play on Sunday.
02:53Did you allow yourself a little smile, just as you're about to do now?
02:58For me, same value.
02:59For me, it doesn't change.
03:00Everything is part of the game and in relation to the opposition you play, how they defend and the options that we have.
03:07We have to be very efficient in all departments.
03:10I'm upset that we didn't score on a set piece.
03:12Because I want to score on a set piece as well.
03:15I'm upset that we conceded a goal.
03:17So, yeah.
03:19It's been at our best in everything that we do.
03:22That's the aim.
03:22A lot of clubs around Europe will probably view Arsenal as the toughest challenge in European football just now.
03:30When you look at Bayern Munich, in the context of your season so far, is this the biggest challenge so far?
03:37Well, every opponent brings different challenges.
03:39Obviously, they are in a great moment.
03:42I mean, the level of consistency they're showing in results, performances, in every metric that they have.
03:47It's very, very impressive.
03:49We know that, but as well, that's a massive opportunity as well for us to show what we are capable of.
03:55You've been to Kompany in the away dugout.
03:58You know him very, very well.
03:59You mentioned him when he was the City captain.
04:03Did you always feel he would make a good manager?
04:06I know it might be an obvious thing to ask because he was captain of such a big football club.
04:12There are different qualities that require from captain to manager.
04:15Did you notice those qualities then?
04:17Yeah, my feeling was that Vinny was going to be excellent at whatever he's choosing to do.
04:23And I'm very happy that things are going so well for him because he has such a presence, intelligence, love for the game, world rate.
04:31So I knew whatever he was going to touch, he was going to make it really good.
04:36So I'm not surprised at all.
04:38Tommy Coguilande.
04:39Hi, Mikel.
04:40Hi.
04:41Game 1 of 3-1 this week.
04:43Really tough week, of course, of games.
04:44And it coincides with you bringing back quite a few of your players that were out injured.
04:48Can you just talk about the extra challenge when you're reintegrating players in a week where the challenge is so high?
04:54Especially because they've been out for a long period of time, six, seven, eight weeks, and that's quite a long time.
05:01But to be fair, when I see them training today as well and how willing they are, all of them to play a part to start ideally if they can, it's great.
05:11So they seem to be in a good place.
05:12We have to manage that because we have a very demanding week and opponents.
05:16But the other day we managed to bring Nani in, which is great to see, and the rest are ready.
05:22What is that challenge like when the players are so keen to come back to injury and there's that real energy that they want to get back onto that pitch?
05:29And how do you kind of temper and calm them to say, you know, we know what's right for you and we need to introduce you in the right way?
05:35Well, we have to look at individuals, obviously, and make sure that they are ready if it's to start a game like this.
05:40And the second one as well, for how long they can play.
05:43We need to be very mindful as well how many of those plays we put on the pitch because most of them, they're not going to be able to finish 90 minutes.
05:49So we need to be conscious about the soaps that we need to use, how we're going to use it, the windows that we have,
05:56in order to be very efficient with our decision-making throughout the game.
06:00And we will plan in regards to that.
06:03Simon, do you need to send it?
06:04Michael, you're going to have some big selection decisions now when you get the players back.
06:08I do because the priority is for the team to be as efficient as possible and to win football matches as priority number one.
06:32And they will have to deal with those situations.
06:35Players are going to have to marry to play.
06:38And the higher the standards each individual puts in, the higher the level of the team is going to be.
06:44So we're going to have to live with that in a really positive way because it's something extraordinary for the team.
06:50Is that the sort of message that you want from literally Ryer and Goal to whoever plays up front, every position the team is being beaten for?
07:00It is and it has to be.
07:02And thanks God that we have improved the depth of the squad and the quality compared to previous years as well
07:08because it's going to be more needed than ever.
07:11Football this season compared to last season is already different two seasons ago.
07:15So it's a different league and we need to be conscious of that.
07:19Like the other teams, the other squads in the league are built in the same way, nothing different.
07:24Harry Bibs, you ready?
07:26Hi, Michael.
07:26Can I just ask you about Gabriel Hayes.
07:28He's joined with your staff and from the outside looking at him, he's extremely passionate.
07:33It looks like he's got great energy.
07:34What would you say from a technical aspect he's brought to your coaching staff that I'm not saying you didn't have before,
07:41or what about his specific qualities?
07:43Well, his experience is a winner.
07:45He's won in many clubs that he's been at.
07:48He had a very different education as well.
07:50Obviously, we know each other for 23 years.
07:53I'm very close to that.
07:55That brings something extra.
07:56But that level of passion, Guy probably shows us in a way.
07:59But Albert shows us in a different way, or Molly, or Nico, or Iñaki, and everybody that is around.
08:05So, it's great because at the end, what I'm really happy is that we complement each other really well,
08:11and everybody brings a different insight, different character, different personality to the table,
08:16and that makes us a much better team.
08:19It makes me a much better coach as well, which is the intention to have the best resources to give to the players.
08:25And it's great to see Gabriel Hayes back on the training field.
08:28You've all seen the videos online of him sort of putting the ball in the back of the net.
08:32Is there any idea when you think you'll be ready to be a part of the squad team yet?
08:36Yeah, he's quite close, to be fair.
08:38And it's earlier than we expected.
08:41In the next few days, he's going to have another step to make with a game that we're going to organize for him.
08:49And after that, he's just going to be knocking on the door because there's Gabby, and we knew that was happening.
08:56Daniel Benchus.
08:56How good must it feel to lose a star player in Gabriel, and then have Hincapi come in and not miss a beat in the biggest W of the season?
09:07Yeah, well, it's a big grade to Piero because that's a massive challenge.
09:12To have your Premier League debut starting against your biggest rivals in a really special day against top players up front to replace Gabby.
09:23It's not easy at all. He did it in a really convincing way.
09:27That's his personality, I'd said before.
09:29He's a warrior. He's somebody that faces any challenge, and he's certainly dead on Sunday.
09:34And we'll go to Daffy Day from Gazeta Pellaspoor.
09:37Hi.
09:37Hi.
09:39Do you think Arsenal is ready to be considered one of the elite European teams, or do you need to make a set like a ready established elite European team like Bayern?
09:49I don't know.
09:49If you talk about performances and consistency, hopefully yes.
09:53But to consider that in terms of the trophies at that level, I mean, we have never won the Champions League in our history.
10:01And Bayern Munich, six, that's why. Six. Thanks for your support.
10:08So, we are not there. We compare with Real Madrid in a different universe.
10:14So, we're going to get there.
10:16Okay. And finally, in the Azlai, we'll go to a question here from South Africa.
10:20Miguel, obviously, each win for the club brings a new set of belief.
10:25And how much would beating Bayern Munich be a statement that Arsenal can challenge on all fronts this season?
10:32Because obviously, there's a lot of optimism around the club, the fans and everyone.
10:37Yeah, we had the same question before Sunday.
10:41And great, we won it and we go.
10:42And then you finish the game the next morning, it's Bayern Munich.
10:45And now we're going to do Bayern Munich and we're going to try to beat them for sure.
10:49And then it's going to be Chelsea.
10:50And this is how ruthless at the moment the schedule is, how demanding.
10:54But at the same time, how privileged we are to be involved in three incredible games in six days.
10:59Okay, that finishes Azlai. We'll go to ten.
