00:02Yeah, that's awesome.
00:03How was the ceremony?
00:05It was cool.
00:06You know, it's funny.
00:06They put all the, or most of the country awards,
00:10other than Contemporary Country Album,
00:12but most of the country awards are all on the pre-telecast thing.
00:14It was so funny.
00:15We sat like way up in the back of the auditorium.
00:18So the first two awards that I was up for went by Tyler Childers won one.
00:22I love that album.
00:24It's that first who had the song of Snipe, Hunter?
00:27Yeah, yeah.
00:27Well, I think Biting List was the one that won the award.
00:31And then Shabuzi won, I can't remember the title of that song.
00:35Anyway, so I'd like, you know, they won the first couple.
00:39And so I was just kind of like, yeah, I didn't go into it expecting to win anything.
00:43I feel like there's other, you know, yeah,
00:47Willie Nelson's in the freaking category with me.
00:49And so I kind of just, you know, expected that we'd just sit there.
00:52And I was very, very thrilled with just the nominations, of course.
00:56And then when they called it, they didn't say my name first.
00:59They said the title of the record, Ain't It For My Health?
01:02And I was like looking around, seeing who was getting up.
01:05That's mine.
01:06That's my album.
01:07And so then I had to, it was this long.
01:09I had to go down these stairs.
01:10And then there's this long runway up to the stage to, you know,
01:14accept it and give a little speech or whatever.
01:16And I got about halfway down and it sounded like the band was finishing up there,
01:19like walk-up music.
01:20They thought I wasn't there or something.
01:22And so then I start running down the aisle and I was like, oh my God,
01:26the cameras are on me.
01:26I look so dumb right now.
01:28So I like slowed down and I'm taking the longest steps in the world.
01:31And then I get up there, it's like, shoot, 300 yards down there or something.
01:34And I just hustled my way down there.
01:36So I'm like all winded and just like don't know what just happened.
01:39And I don't know if I said anything intelligent on the speech,
01:42but I was really, really, really excited about that.
01:46Yeah, it's awesome.
01:46And I like the picture.
01:48It was like kind of a bit of a who's who of country music.
01:51Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:52So like you met Brandy Carlisle for the first time.
01:55Yeah, she was so sweet.
01:56She's amazing.
01:56And do you met anyone else in that lineup or is it all kind of like first time?
01:59I hadn't met Reba before.
02:02She's iconic.
02:02Yeah, of course.
02:05Lainey, you know, we toured with her all of 2024.
02:08So we became buds on that.
02:11Shaboozy, we just, I feel like we're like tight.
02:14We only ever see each other basically when there's like award shows or CMA Fest or something.
02:18I mean, that's not bad.
02:19No, yeah.
02:20But he's always a great hang.

02:25I'll tell you one that was funny that was not in the country world.

02:30You know, he's just hotter than fire right now in the pop world.
02:33And he came over and said hi.
02:35He's from Washington as well where I'm from.
02:37Oh, nice.
02:37Anyway, so he came over and said hi and said his, him and his buddies were always, they'd always be
02:42listening to my stuff.
02:43So that was kind of funny.
02:44I didn't expect that anybody there would know who I was.
02:47Yeah.
02:48But yeah, it was, it was really, really fun.
02:50I couldn't believe how many of us hillbillies they let sit down there in the front, right in front of
02:54the cameras.
02:55I couldn't believe how many of us will be in the front of the cameras.
