00:00So every year, the Country Music Hall of Fame creates one exhibit that doesn't look back
00:05at the genre's past, but instead honors its present and possible future.
00:10Ooh, this is cool.
00:11So I want to tell you about what they're doing this year.
00:15American Current's State of the Music highlights music and how the genre has grown and changed
00:23over the past 12 months.
00:25Wow.
00:25Which, you know, it's like country music is its own living, breathing thing, right?
00:30And it does.
00:31It evolves, it changes, all the things.
00:33And they're spotlighting at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum this year some of the
00:38artists who are responsible for it.
00:39So we're looking at, of course, the woman who we believe 2026 belongs to, Miss Ella Langley.
00:46Also featured in this year's exhibit, Tyler Childers.
00:49We've got Bailey Zimmerman, Megan Maroney, Billy String, Zach Topp, Morgan Wallen, Lainey
00:55Wilson, Luke Combs.
00:57Perhaps you've heard of some of these artists.
00:59Yeah, just a couple of them.
01:00Wow.
01:00And there's a bunch in there that you haven't heard of, but if the Country Music Hall of
01:04Fame and Museum believes that they are up-and-comers, then you've got to trust.
01:08You know, how special is that for a young artist, an up-and-coming artist, to be featured in
01:13the Hall of Fame?
01:15Right, because you also have to remember, it's not like these people drove to Nashville
01:19one day and all of a sudden the Hall of Fame is like, oh yeah, you look like you might
01:24make it.
01:24They have put the work in already, right?
01:27So to finally get recognized after so many years of not, this is going to be a really cool
01:33opportunity for them.
01:33Yeah, I actually saw a photo surface of Ella Langley, who was on tour with Luke Combs in
01:392022.
01:41So think about this.
01:42She was on tour with Luke Combs four years ago.
01:45So meaning, years took her to get to that spot, to 2022, and we still didn't really
01:51know her then.
01:52Yeah.
01:52And now she's blowing up in 2026.
01:54I mean, it is a long haul for our artists.
01:57This is something so cool to see.
01:59Very cool.
01:59So it's all happening, so make those plans.
02:01Get on out there to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and just enjoy Nashville.
