00:00Sì, grazie per dire questo!
00:20Inizio, più action, più humor, ma più amore.
00:25È amore il più importante elemento del film?
00:31Oh, 100%.
00:32Love is the most important element of the movie.
00:35Yes, thank you for saying that.
00:37You really paid attention.
00:39I really feel like that is.
00:42I think that this is an action movie.
00:45As you said, it has violence and fight scenes,
00:51but it also has comedy,
00:52and it is about family and how complicated it is,
00:56but really what's keeping everybody together is love.
00:59Yeah, I actually...
01:01Yeah, I love that you asked that question.
01:03I think that there is love sort of embedded in this movie,
01:09and obviously it's what drives a lot of people to do the things that they do.
01:14And whether it's the absence of love or the feeling where it's so complicated
01:21that you kind of almost don't know what to do with it.
01:24And it doesn't seem obvious.
01:26I don't think people going into the movie have that idea at the forefront of their mind,
01:32but I think it's what I love, to use the word again,
01:36that catches people off guard,
01:38that they might actually have an unexpected emotional reaction to seeing some of these scenes,
01:43especially between the brothers because, again, as Daniela said, family's complicated.
01:49It's, you know, why didn't you call me on my birthday type of things
01:52in the middle of this really heightened story with, you know, a lot of action and mystery as well.
01:59So I also feel like it's a love letter to movies.
02:04I think that going to the cinema, watching a great movie that has action and mystery and comedy and love,
02:13I miss that. I miss doing that.
02:17I love having an excuse to go to the movie theater again and sit and watch something that is just
02:21a really fun time.
02:22So I hope that that's what the audience experiences with our movie.
02:27The movie says there is no good or bad, only right and wrong.
02:32What do you think about it?
02:34Oh, well, I think that our movie is quite in the middle.
02:39I think everyone's a little bad and a little good, which is, I think, a reflection of people in real
02:46life.
02:46I think that each character, you know, we wouldn't want to follow Christian Wolfe around
02:52if we didn't know that deep in his heart that he was good.
02:56And the same with his brother. And, you know, same with a lot of other characters.
02:59So I feel like everyone is your own little flavor of antihero.
03:05Cynthia?
03:05Yeah, I think there's that gray area, certainly, you know, and each character has, you know, the conviction of their
03:13beliefs that's driving them.
03:15I think all of these characters, I often think about it, they're all these sort of, you know, very independent
03:22individual lone wolf types.
03:24And they're used to sort of moving through the world on their own and just doing things on their own
03:29with a very sort of driven, narrow purpose and focus.
03:34And I suppose a lot of the humor comes from, well, what happens when you get all these lone wolves
03:39and they're kind of having, you know, forced to work together or interact with each other?
03:44That's where a lot of, I think, the humor and some of the more interesting parts of the movie come
03:51together.
03:52In the end, there is a very beautiful sequence where Ben and John talk about happiness.
03:58What is happiness for you?
04:01Happiness for me is shooting and making movies in Los Angeles.
04:06So I love, I want to make more movies and I want there to be more movies and I want
04:11to see my industry flourish and that makes me happy.
04:16That makes me happy, too.
04:17I mean, obviously, it's like that's a heavy question that deserves a lengthy answer.
04:23But in general, for me in this moment, having a sense of peace and serenity and being around great people.
04:32Nice people.
04:33Nice people.
04:35And I think we're all seeking it.
04:37We're all trying to find it in ways large and small.
04:41And being here and talking about this movie, not to, you know, not to be so much, you know, like
04:47turning it back to that.
04:48But to be honest, like I love movies.
04:51I love going to the movies.
04:52I love getting to work in cinema.
04:55And so right now that makes me very happy.
04:59Thank you. Bye. Thank you. Ciao.
05:22Bye.
