00:00High school hockey player Colin Dorgan scored a double overtime game-winning goal to send his
00:05school to the Rhode Island Division II Championship. This would have been an exciting
00:09feat for anyone, but for Colin, his team, and his community, it means so much more because it comes
00:14just weeks after his father, trans shooter Robert Dorgan, opened fire in the stands during one of
00:20his games. The horrific shooting, which happened less than a month ago, claimed the lives of Colin's
00:24mom, brother, and grandfather. It ended when Robert Dorgan took his own life. The massacre paused high
00:30school sports in the Pawtucket area, but somehow when they started up again, Colin managed to get
00:36back on the ice. Wearing a patch on his jersey honoring his lost loved ones, Colin said the win
00:41was the greatest moment of his life. The championship game is set for March 18th,
00:46and we are all wishing Colin and his team good luck.
