00:00You don't need to have superhuman strength to have superpowers
00:15The movie made me think about Jurassic Park when Ian Malcolm says
00:22eventually you do plan to have dinosaurs on your dinosaur tour, right?
00:27Because you basically have a movie a superhero movie with no superheroes
00:32potential superheroes so how difficult was to make a superhero movie with almost
00:39no superheroes in it? Well I suppose they're all superheroes in their own way
00:43as you say with the spiders they are superheroes of the future but I think
00:48what I found really interesting about it is you know you don't need to have
00:51superhuman strength to have superpowers and I found that actually quite
00:55interesting and refreshing. And speaking about potential here we have basically
01:00a man who is trying to really stop triggers from she almost steals their true potential
01:15so it's almost like women history. Was it a team that really interested you?
01:23Yeah I think that I thought it was really interesting A for Ezekiel to see a future where he died
01:29and then he would do anything to fight for his survival and that Cassie sees a future where she has
01:35the
01:35chance to save you know and I think they both are sort of two sides of the same coin so
01:41in a way
01:41that's what made it quite interesting you know and is she going to stop him from
01:45stealing their potential you know seemed like a great thread and a great through line for the movie.
01:50And it's interesting that Cassandra and Ezekiel have the same power but they make very different choices so in your
01:59opinion what makes a villain?
02:01Oh well I think the more complex a villain is the greater the villain and I think that you know
02:07as I mentioned earlier I think the fact that he got the powers for himself and stole them and then
02:14was basically cursed with seeing his own death I thought that was really interesting and it's different because that's all
02:20he sees he doesn't get clairvoyance because he doesn't work in the same way but he just sees his own
02:24death over and over and over again every night you know and I think that sort of like psychological kind
02:30of pull that sort of
02:31self-destruct self-destruction that he goes through I think that's what makes him really compelling and Cassandra is amazing
02:37because she wants to share power so how important it is in your opinion to share power and especially between
02:46women?
02:47I think what's great is she empowers them she basically says you know gives them the opportunity to see their
02:54full potential you know and that's what she learns throughout the movie that she has to reach her full potential
02:59you know in order to become powerful and I thought that was a really beautiful theme in the movie
03:05okay thank you so much thank you thank you
