00:00Want to unlock a hidden mode in Windows 10 and 11 that gives your PC maximum power?
00:05It's called Ultimate Performance Mode.
00:07And today, I'm going to show you exactly how to turn it on.
00:10This mode is designed for power users and workstations running high-demand applications,
00:15giving you that extra bit of performance when you need it most.
00:18It basically tells your computer to forget about saving power and just go all out.
00:22If you're into gaming, video editing, or any other intensive tasks,
00:27you'll definitely want to check this out.
00:29Ready?
00:30Let's get started.
00:31First, we need to open PowerShell as an administrator.
00:35Click on your start menu and just type PowerShell.
00:38You'll see it pop up.
00:39Instead of just clicking on it, right-click and select Run as Administrator.
00:44This is super important because we need administrative rights to make this change.
00:48Windows will ask if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device.
00:52Just click Yes.
00:53Now, with PowerShell open, you need to paste in a special command.
00:59ILL have this command on screen and also in the description below so you can easily copy and paste it.
01:04The command is PowerKif, duplicate skin, en 9A42, B02, D5DF, 448D, AA00, minus 3F1, 47, 49, EVE, 61.
01:23Go ahead and paste that in, then press Enter.
01:27Once you do, you'll see a message confirming that the ultimate performance power plan has been added.
01:32That's it for PowerShell.
01:33You can close it now.
01:34So, we've unlocked the mode, but now we need to actually enable it.
01:39To do that, go back to your start menu and type Control Panel, 10, open IDUP.
01:44In the Control Panel, look for Hardware and Sound and click on it.
01:48From there, click on Power Options.
01:51You'll see your current power plans, like Balanced and Power Saver.
01:54Now, you should see a new section, possibly under Show Additional Plans.
02:00Click the little drop-down arrow and there it is, Ultimate Performance.
02:05Just select that option and you're all set.
02:08Your PC is now in Ultimate Performance mode.
02:12Now, a couple of important things to keep in mind.
02:15This mode uses a lot more electricity, so your power bill might go up a bit and it will generate
02:20more heat.
02:21Because of this, it's not typically available on laptops or other battery-powered devices, unless you enable it with this
02:28command.
02:29It's best used for tasks where every ounce of performance counts.
02:32You might not see a huge difference in everyday browsing, but for rendering a video or during an intense gaming
02:38session, it can definitely help.
02:40So, give it a try and see if you notice the difference.
