00:00I just read that last night. She was accused of being a madam or something, and then she was gone
00:04by the morning.
00:05I mean, I wish I could just call her up and say, bad move.
00:13Virtual reality.
00:16Caroline Stanbury, Danny and I are so excited to chat with you.
00:20This started out so amazing. This year was incredible because you are on the new season of The Traitors.
00:25Then you're suddenly not on the new season of The Traitors because The Housewives turned against you.
00:30We were so heartbroken when you got murdered, tied to a tree, Caroline.
00:35I mean, what are your reflections on the way you were kicked off this season so early?
00:40Well, when I saw who kicked me off, I'm surprised I got that far, actually.
00:47I mean, poor Portia. She did worse.
00:51So, you know, I mean, obviously I'm a bit gutted.
00:54I would have loved to have gone further, but I understand for a gameplay sort of aspect of it, it
01:00was genius.
01:01You know, housewives killing housewives, no one would have thought it.
01:05I know. It was very genius.
01:07I was so disappointed not only not to see you on The Rest of The Traitors,
01:10but also I know that suitcase was packed with some good looks that we missed.
01:14I mean, I had so many looks. It was a joke.
01:18I had to get excess luggage.
01:20I was, I mean, the whole thing was a nightmare getting it there.
01:22And I think I wore three.
01:24Oh, my God.
01:26What was the packing process like and also just the styling process?
01:30Did you work with a stylist to curate looks for Scotland or did you pull them all yourself?
01:36I did.
01:37I had two girlfriends of mine, well, stylists that I worked with.
01:42So I just, when I got the call, I was like, okay, I've got to think.
01:45But the one thing I did want to do is make sure I didn't do too much tartan because I
01:49saw that that seems to be the sort of go-to for everyone.
01:53So, yeah, I had a stylist help me pull all the looks and, but I never got to wear them.
01:59So there you go.
01:59I spent most of the time in that brown jacket looking like I just joined Hogwarts.
02:05But, you know, after day three, I think of wearing the same clothes, you're like, oh, my God.
02:11Actually, I felt really sorry for Moira because, Moira, because she had to keep putting on that latex suit, which
02:18was a nightmare to get on.
02:20I mean, at least mine was a double-breasted jacket, but.
02:23Right.
02:23I mean, she looked amazing in the latex.
02:26I did not think about the fact that she had to.
02:28And the heat and, like, the sweat and the, oh, you're right.
02:31She really put in the work this season.
02:33I don't know if you continued to watch the traders after your elimination.
02:37Okay, you did.
02:38So you saw Moira's entire journey.
02:41She ended up making it to the end.
02:43Then she was lethally given the chop by the ultimate traitor to ever be a traitor, Rob Roush.
02:50But he got her that Birkin.
02:52He got her the Birkin.
02:54Well, I was about to say, Moira is so pretty, isn't she?
02:57I mean, I've never questioned my sexuality to this.
03:00I think she's just unbelievable.
03:02It's like looking at some, you know, amazing supermodel come down the stairs every single day,
03:09which, you know, the rest of us without hair and makeup, I don't know how she did it.
03:14And, yes, I think we were all hoping there might be a castle baby.
03:19Can you imagine the two of them?
03:20I think at some point she probably thought there was going to be a castle baby, but you never know.
03:25And she got the Birkin.
03:26So well done, Rob.
03:28Well done.
03:29I mean, she was very good.
03:30Everybody dropped in the Birkin in so many interviews.
03:32He didn't really have a choice, did he?
03:34He had to go get it.
03:35He really had no choice.
03:36I also love you saying you questioned your sexuality.
03:38I feel us watching Moira, I was like, wait.
03:40We questioned it too.
03:42But then Rob came on the screen and I was like, no, I'm still gay.
03:45Okay.
03:46I know.
03:47And that was the other thing.
03:48I think he scooched past.
03:50Like when he killed me tied to the tree, I was like, oh, all right, fine.
03:54You're like, this is some fan fiction.
03:57Yeah, he's so cute.
03:59But I mean, you know, again, my husband's really cute.
04:02Oh.
04:02Wait, how is Sergio?
04:04He's more than cute, and you know that.
04:06We miss seeing him on TV.
04:08How is he?
04:09I know.
04:10He's here.
04:10He's here.
04:11He's good.
04:11He's in his pajamas upstairs getting ready.
04:15Oh, I love that.
04:16But yeah, I mean, we've been here for ages now, so we kind of, I feel like we live in
04:19L.A.
04:20I know.
04:21How are, because of course we're talking on you while everything is going on in Dubai
04:25and more how, and I know I saw you post on social media that you are, do you know when
04:30you're cleared to travel?
04:32I am on the first flight, which is the 15th.
04:36So people keep asking me about this, and I'm going to clear it up.
04:38Actually, it's quite good, because the flights from the U.S. open up on the 7th, but there
04:44are no direct flights from L.A. until the 15th.
04:50So I'm on that.
04:51But I'm comfortable now, because my ex-husband is with the children.
04:55He got in, and they're all together, so it's not like, you know, it was where they were
05:00at home alone.
05:01But again, I have two 16-year-old boys, and obviously I know the severity of the situation,
05:05but, you know, thank God, being teenagers, they're like, Mom, calm down.
05:11You know, we're fine.
05:13Stay over there.
05:14So, you know, it wasn't like they were in this giant disaster zone and, like, having a
05:19heart attack while I was sitting over here in L.A., but the flights are the flights.
05:24There is, you know, I can get to Doha now on another airline, but if I get to Doha, the
05:30airspace there is closed, so I'd just rather stay put and wait it out.
05:35It's only another week.
05:36I really feel like I have a lot of friends on the ground.
05:39Everyone's telling me it's been amazing.
05:42I mean, I just want to put it into perspective as well, actually.
05:44This is quite interesting.
05:45I think there were 600 missiles, 500 drones intercepted, and I was in Austin on the 1st of
05:58May, 24 hours before the mass shooting, so in all of this war so far, we have had three
06:05deaths, and I think there were 14 people injured in Austin, and I'm not sure how many people
06:13died, so let's just put it in, and there's been two other shootings since then in America,
06:19so let's just put it in perspective.
06:21I still feel safer there than I do, you know, in most European, American cities right now.
06:30I know what you mean.
06:31It is, when you put it in perspective, it is very real just to look at the American setup
06:36and infrastructure of how things are not regulated here, where you're kind of like, I don't want
06:41to take my chances.
06:42No, I understand that.
06:43So, you know, it's not like one is this disaster zone.
06:48When everybody's going about their business, I'm talking to everybody, people are in the
06:52mall, people are on the beach, it's not a war zone by any means, and I intend to fully
07:01go back as soon as I can.
07:02If a flight, I've asked even this morning, if any flights open up and anyone cancels from
07:09here, I'll take the flight.
07:10I'm happy to go back.
07:11Are some of your friends in LA that you're around, are they kind of asking you, like,
07:15why are you going back, you know what I mean, or do they understand your point of view?
07:20Yeah, I mean, a lot of people are like, just stay now, your ex-husband's there with the
07:23kids, you know, wait it out, you're, I mean, I'm in a beautiful house, obviously, going to
07:28the gym, I've got a really nice setup now.
07:32My girlfriend from LeJean's Jeans, she sent me boxes and boxes of clothes so I don't have
07:37to do laundry, and I'm going to clear that one up too.
07:40It's not that I don't want to do laundry.
07:41It's just every time I go to the dry cleaner, they're like four or five days.
07:46I don't want to leave all my clothes there if I get a plane.
07:49Yes.
07:50You know, I want to be on it.
07:52Wow, you have such a nice setup in LA, like being showered with clothing, like, come on.
07:59Oh, I wish.
08:00I know, I'm not suffering in Beverly Hills, trust me.
08:04I'm okay.
08:04Oh my God.
08:05Well, Caroline, we're talking to you at a really interesting time, because the Ladies
08:09of London, it's finally back.
08:12The new rain, this new reboot with a whole new cast of characters.
08:16We just met Mika, and she was cool, she was a vibe, I'm not sure if you know her, if
08:22you're
08:22familiar with her.
08:22Are you familiar with any of the women on the show?
08:26Well, I know of one of them, and then obviously, oh my, Mark Francis, I know well.
08:33Oh, he seems like-
08:34He seems up on time.
08:35Yeah, he seems like a vibe.
08:36I love that they casted a full-time gay on Ladies of London.
08:40It's amazing.
08:40I know, isn't it?
08:41Have you seen the first episode?
08:43I haven't seen anything.
08:44We watched the first two episodes, and also, kind of dramatic, Dara quit in the middle of
08:51the show.
08:51Well, I heard something, I just read that last night.
08:55She was accused of being a madam or something, and then she was gone by the morning.
08:59I mean, I wish I could just call her up and say, bad move, because you kind of want to
09:06go through those storms.
09:07I mean, that's reality TV 101, that, you know, you hit these things head on, and also, I've
09:15always said, if you've got any skeletons in the closet, that the last thing you should
09:19do is go on reality TV, but anyway, never mind.
09:21Well, no, that's so, well, also, it's kind of a thing, to your point, she was being called
09:25a madam, she was also being called a s***y friend, and she was talking about struggling
09:29co-parenting with Princess Beatrice, and then now she's no longer on the show, so it's
09:32like, you don't have the time to, you're not going to be there to defend yourself.
09:36I know, I know.
09:37But, you know, I think when you're not used to it, and you've curated your life in a
09:41certain way, and, you know, it's very, very difficult to go into these shows, because
09:47I don't think people understand how ferocious it is, and it's a shock, because you're not
09:53normally confronted with people sitting at a table and saying these things to you.
09:59Normally, we're all quite nice to each other, so when you get this sort of a barrage of attacks,
10:04you're like, oh, you know, you kind of throw in the towel and go, I'm not dealing with
10:07this.
10:07But, you know, that's the name of the game, if you sign up for these things.
10:12Was there ever a moment in your reality TV career, Caroline, that you were ever pushed
10:17to the point of wanting to quit?
10:19I did quit.
10:21After four years, three years.
10:22Oh, like in the middle of filming, though.
10:24In the middle of filming.
10:25In the middle of a season.
10:26No, no, no.
10:27I mean, I think we all sort of like, oh, actually, no, I lie.
10:31Yes, the last season I did, when I was fighting, I think I was fighting with the girls, but
10:36worse, I was fighting with my sister-in-law, Sophie.
10:39And so, you know, before I would be able to leave, you know, the fights and go home, but
10:46then I brought it all home with me.
10:48That's true.
10:48And that was just particularly difficult, because my parents got involved, Sophie was being
10:53an arse.
10:55And, you know, so, yeah, I did.
10:58And I think everyone wants to quit at some stage, but, you know, again, I'm like exactly
11:04what you said.
11:04First of all, I'm bloody minded.
11:05No one's pushing me off.
11:07And second of all, I think the right to reply is so important, because otherwise people go,
11:14oh, there's no smoke without fire.
11:15And if she quit, she must have something to hide.
11:19You know, mine wasn't about anything like that.
11:22It was just, you know, I think, I can't remember what I was fighting with Sophie about an
11:25hour so long ago, but it was just, you know, when it's family fighting with you, they know
11:30every button to press.
11:32Oh, mm-hmm.
11:33Totally.
11:34And they like to do it, too.
11:35Oh, of course.
11:37Do you still keep in touch with any of your castmates from Ladies of London?
11:42All of them.
11:43Really?
11:44So, yeah, Juliet is on Real Housewives.
11:48Yeah.
11:48Yeah.
11:48So, and I've been on that.
11:50Right.
11:51And actually, I'm about to go back and film with them.
11:54Fine.
11:55And so she's on that.
11:59Who else do I see?
12:00I spoke to Marissa Harmer the other day.
12:02Okay.
12:04I spoke to, who was on Ladies of London?
12:07Do you ever talk to Caprice?
12:09Because I always found her so fascinating.
12:11How is Caprice doing?
12:13I think Caprice would rather, like, talk to a wall than me.
12:17No, we've never spoken to the show, since the show, since that first time, since I threw
12:23her out of my house, we've never had a word.
12:25Oh, really?
12:26Oh, my God.
12:26So you really did end on such a, wow.
12:29I would have figured you guys would have connected again at some point.
12:33Never.
12:34Oh, my God.
12:35Wait, but I do love that Real Housewives of London fans will be able to reconnect with
12:39you.
12:39Are we filming, like, a bigger role for the upcoming season?
12:44No.
12:45I live in Dubai.
12:45I don't want to go back.
12:46But my daughter's there, so it makes sense.
12:48And obviously, all the ladies, well, quite a few of the ladies on the show I know quite
12:53well.
12:54So, you know, I'm happy going in and out.
12:58And actually, their drama is so much.
13:00I'm actually, I like just going in, seeing them, and leaving.
13:07But, you know, I think I love the show.
13:09And I'm dying to see Ladies of London.
13:11It feels so different.
13:13Yeah.
13:15It's totally a vibe shift.
13:16There's this character, or there's this woman, Martha, who has a magpie, and she is such a
13:21character.
13:21Martha Stillwall, right?
13:23I think so.
13:23She has a pet magpie that likes to peck people's eyes out, so people have to wear protective
13:28goggles.
13:30No, I know.
13:31Amazing.
13:32Would you ever film with a vicious magpie?
13:35No.
13:36And I know Emma.
13:37She's amazing.
13:37Oh, she is gorgeous, too.
13:40She seems incredible.
13:42Yeah.
13:42Yeah.
13:42She seems like a whole lot of fun.
13:44But I can't wait to watch.
13:46I mean, you know, again, I think Ladies of London was so loved.
13:50It'll be interesting to see.
13:52I think people have been wanting this for quite a long time.
13:54Yes.
13:55Do you miss London?
13:57Like, would you ever consider moving back, or are you, like, having the best time in Dubai?
14:01I would never move back.
14:02I've got to be honest.
14:04Dubai is such a vibe.
14:06I can't tell you.
14:08It's given me everything.
14:09You know, everything.
14:10There's so much opportunity.
14:13It's just, it's warm.
14:15The people are amazing.
14:17It's just got a fantastic energy.
14:20It's fantastic for entrepreneurs.
14:23It gives you life.
14:25You get there, and you're like, sometimes cities feel quite depressing and hard, where
14:29I think everything's made so easy for you, so that you get this sort of, like, you wake
14:33up, and you're like, I'm going to, you know, take on the day.
14:36And I think that's what a lot of cities have lost right now.
14:40I know what you mean.
14:40I do love that.
14:41And also, you found a place that recharges you and makes you, like, excited to be out
14:45and about.
14:46And that's why we love following you and Sergio, because you guys are always having the best
14:49time together.
14:49It really does seem like it's just a nonstop party in the best way.
14:53It's a nonstop.
14:54Well, we've turned partying, not partying, literally, but, like, you know, traveling the
14:58world and partying.
14:59I mean, our life.
15:00And it's just, you know, we've built it from there.
15:03If you think about where we came from to our lives now in the Middle East, I mean, it's
15:09amazing.
15:10And as I said, every day there's a new opportunity.
15:12And the Middle East is, I've been there nearly 12 years.
15:15Can you believe it?
15:16Wow.
15:17Has it flown by?
15:18Yeah.
15:18It has flown by.
15:20And the things that have just now, you know, now I think everyone can see the things I've
15:25been working on.
15:26I'm, you know, the real estate we're developing, the, you know, all the women's retreats, everything
15:31that we're doing now has just sort of started popping up and we're, you know, we're building
15:36so much over there.
15:38And I just, I can't see anywhere else giving you that opportunity to live that way.
15:43I love that you showcase all of that.
15:45And also that you both showcased your incredible facelift recovery, those Instagram content
15:52and everything that's still some of the best ever.
15:54I'm curious, are you, because we've been talking to some reality personalities lately and everyone's
15:59obsessed with peptides now.
16:00Are those a big thing in Dubai or no?
16:03I'm the queen of peptides.
16:05I do.
16:05I just literally, I have, I take about six or seven a day.
16:10Really?
16:10Wow.
16:11Yeah.
16:11I mean, I look younger than you two at this point.
16:13No, you do.
16:14You really do.
16:14Wait, what's your stack?
16:15Because we want to get in the peptide game.
16:17What should we take to look like Caroline Stanberry?
16:20Um, I'm, well, I'm actually in the middle of developing one myself, but, um, my stack
16:26is, um, glow, which is G-U-C, I can never remember C-K, um, with one, five, seven.
16:35Um, so it's a mixed glow.
16:38Then I take growth hormone.
16:39I take, um, uh, MOTC, I take, uh, gosh, I take quite a lot.
16:48Um, one's for inflammation, one for recovery, one to help muscle build.
16:54I mean, look at, look, I've got muscles and I, I do less gym.
16:57Um, it's like, um, no, it's the best, I, NAD plus, um, energy every day, um, retrochoo chide.
17:10Um, can't say it properly.
17:11That one just keeps you, uh, for, you know, women and men, midlife, it keeps your, you
17:17know, weight stable.
17:19Um, I've actually, I've thought about getting on Retta and if you're on it, I'm going to
17:24get on it.
17:25No, literally.
17:26No, get on it.
17:27Yeah.
17:28She's looking at me like, get on it, bitch.
17:31You microdose.
17:32It's fantastic.
17:33Okay.
17:34Um, I, I can't say enough about it.
17:36I really, um, cannot, I'm actually trying to develop my own right now.
17:39I was going to ask you about that.
17:41What are, what process of the step are we in?
17:44Uh, about step three.
17:47Okay.
17:48That's really cool.
17:49That is exciting.
17:50Very exciting.
17:51Well, you know, I, the, the women's retreats that I do have become so popular.
17:56We have over, I think 5,000 people on the wait list now.
18:00And so, you know, the women, the one thing that they all ask me because they're from really
18:0435 to 75, the women that come is how to stay young and to get, you know, have energy.
18:12And I just feel completely different, completely different on them.
18:16Um, and oh, I do testosterone, you know, the testosterone pellet.
18:20That's a game changer for men and women.
18:23Check your testosterone levels, everybody out there.
18:26Um, yeah.
18:28You really do it all from fashion to, you know, health.
18:32You, you cover it all.
18:33And that's why I was laughing when Maura's so excited with her Birkin.
18:36I remember your closet on whenever they would cut to you at home and do houses of Dubai.
18:40I'm like, she has like eight, like Caroline Sanbury is sleeping with her Birkin.
18:43I bought one yesterday.
18:44Oh my God.
18:46What?
18:46Which one did you buy in honor of Maura?
18:48What's the latest Birkin?
18:50Oh, she's going to be so jealous because I got one of the most rare ones on the planet.
18:54Oh, stop.
18:55Now, do you go, do you have a relationship with Hermes or do you go reseller?
19:01No, Hermes.
19:02I, yeah.
19:04She's like, you bet.
19:04I'm sorry.
19:05I did not mean to offend you with that question, Caroline Sanbury.
19:07Of course you have a relationship with Hermes.
19:09Yes.
19:11Oh, it's beautiful.
19:13Is it blue?
19:14It's black and it's called, it's called the cargo.
19:19I got it for travel, but it's huge.
19:21It comes in the blue box, so it's limited.
19:24Oh, oh my God.
19:25The blue box.
19:26It's actually, it's actually my birthday present from Sergio.
19:32Bless him.
19:32But we got it early because they called us.
19:34Oh my God.
19:35Oh my God.
19:35I was going to say, because I know you're a tourist like me, which is why I love the way
19:38you live your life because.
19:39I'm 50 this in April.
19:42Oh my God.
19:43Wow.
19:44Happy early birthday.
19:45Happy early birthday.
19:45What a milestone too.
19:47Honestly, you talking about peptides.
19:49I was looking how gorgeous you, like I did not realize you were even close to 50,
19:52but amazing.
19:54That's incredible.
19:56And also we know Sergio knows that this was an early birthday gift, but he still needs
19:59to get you a birthday gift on your birthday.
20:01Oh, well, I'll let him know that.
20:03Yes.
20:04I don't know.
20:05Oh, I was just going to say, Caroline, where is Sergio in terms of like wanting a baby?
20:10Because I feel like we left, when the housewives of Dubai, we kind of were left with the feeling
20:16that he really, really wanted that to happen.
20:19Yes.
20:19And he still does.
20:20So, um, we have spoken to a surrogacy agency and we are transporting our one egg to it.
20:29Oh, wow.
20:30We've only got one viable baby boy, as I said.
20:33So, um, they're going to take it.
20:36I kind of feel like it's like, you know, we, we were given one and I like, you have to
20:41kind of throw a dart at the board, don't you?
20:44Yeah.
20:44Cause whatever, whatever happens will happen.
20:46Yeah.
20:47Yeah.
20:47How are you feeling?
20:48Are you, are you hopeful?
20:49Are you excited?
20:50Like what, what are the vibes going into this?
20:52Cause this is a big deal.
20:52Really?
20:53Well, really mixed vibes.
20:55One, um, like, oh my God.
20:58I, I, you know, I don't know.
21:00I hope I'm going to be, I hope I would be maternal because I see babies and I'm like,
21:05take them away from me.
21:07But then I, everyone goes, maybe later you would love it.
21:11Right.
21:11If I, I'm building an Island, like a house on an Island right now.
21:14And like, you know, maybe that's something that would be having a baby there.
21:19Wouldn't be such a, you know, right now I live in the middle of a city and it's crazy.
21:24If I lived on an Island, maybe it won't be, I don't know.
21:27I haven't got my head around it.
21:28Oh, well, I say, I, all I've said to Sergio is if we have one, it's yours right now.
21:33There we go.
21:34You're like, I'll be holding my Birkin.
21:36You're holding the baby.
21:37Yes.
21:37And I'll see you for dinner.
21:39Yeah.
21:40But then, you know, you never know, you know what might happen.
21:42It might, maybe it will pop out.
21:44They hand it to me and I go, okay, this is great.
21:46Maybe I'll be a much nicer human.
21:49I think it's going to go incredible.
21:51It's going to go incredible because we just, we love you so much.
21:54We love you and Sergio together.
21:55We're so happy that the family is doing well and feeling okay.
21:59And thank you so much for taking the time to catch up with us too.
22:01Thank you for having me.
22:03I love seeing you guys anytime.
22:05So great seeing you.
22:06Thank you, Caroline.
