00:12were later struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court. The lawsuit asks the court to require
00:17Costco to return to customers any tariff refunds the company receives under the International
00:22Emergency Economic Powers Act. The Supreme Court ruled on February 20 that Trump exceeded
00:28his authority by using the Emergency Powers Law to impose sweeping tariffs. Costco is
00:33among more than 2,000 companies pursuing duty refunds in the U.S. Court of International
00:38Trade. Costco and a lawyer for the plaintiff did not immediately respond to requests for
00:43comment.
