00:21and he doesn't really think it's anything special,

00:26a sort of collector's item
00:28or a prop from a movie or something
00:30and then magical things start to happen to him
00:35and he quickly realises it is the sword and the stone.
00:39But he's a nobody, he's nothing,
00:41he's the opposite of a king.
00:43So the film is about how he realises
00:46and comes to understand what it means to have drawn the sword
00:49and also the story of him having to save and unify his country.
00:54Kid Who Would Be King is based on one of the most famous myths in the world,
00:57I think that everybody knows,
00:59probably through other movies and other famous stories,
01:02but it's telling this legend in a completely new way,
01:04bringing it into the modern world
01:06and that I think is a very universal thing,
01:09taking a world famous legend
01:11and making it relevant for contemporary audiences.
