00:00In Colombia, the Historic Pact Party registered the candidacy of Iván Cepeda for president with Aida Aquilcúe as his roommate

00:10Aida Aquilcúe becomes the first indigenous female leader to aspire to the position of vice president of Colombia.
00:15The registration marked the formal start of the campaign toward the presidential elections on May 21st.
00:21The central proposal of the government program, called the Agrarian Revolution,
00:24was collectively developed with farmers, indigenous, and Afro-descendant communities.
00:28The plan includes land redistribution, agrarian justice in rural territories,
00:32and the recognition of ethnic and family farming as a guarantee of food sovereignty.
00:37During her statements, Aquilcúe emphasized that the elected representatives of the Historic Pact will be the voice of the people.
