Intervista ad Aaron Taylor-Johnson su Outlaw King - Il re fuorilegge
Trascrizione
00:03Douglas asks Bruce if he's a good man, do you think that leaders should be good or is
00:09not necessary?
00:16Potete combattere per Dio!
00:20Per il paese!
00:25Per la famiglia!
00:30Non mi interessa!
01:00I think because the whole sense of that is that we're human, right, and we all make
01:04mistakes and we should all be redeemed for some of our mistakes and forgiven, you know,
01:14within boundaries.
01:14But I think we have human errors and that's what makes us interesting as a species, I
01:22think, you know, as well.
01:24These men fight while talking constantly.
01:29Do they?
01:32Do you think that hate on social media is the modern version of it?
01:40Yeah, I suppose you could see some sort of kind of analogy or sort of metaphor for a battle
01:48scene could be definitely an ongoing Twitter feed between some people, you know, politicians
01:56and journalists and what have you.
01:58I think, you know, it's pretty bizarre times that we're living in to sort of see how social
02:09media has taken over such an open discussion throughout.
02:14But then there's good, there's cons and, you know, pros and cons for all of that.
02:19I think, you know, it's definitely a worldwide discussion, which is good in some respects and
02:24an awareness for a lot of people.
02:26And then there is a fear of it too, you know, it's a bizarre, it's a bizarre platform that,
02:35you know, to sort of use it in certain ways is also manipulating power.
02:41So it's a weird platform, I think.
02:44At the end of the movie, Robert says that he's not king of land, but king of people.
02:51Right.
02:52In times where our leaders want to build walls between countries, how important is his example?
03:02It's really interesting to reflect on what's happened in history, you know, and how it's
03:09clearly something that's a continuation and an ongoing sort of pattern that happens.
03:15You know, I think in this story, yeah, it explores the fact that there's a nation that's divided
03:20and they, you know, get behind someone to unite their country.
03:25And that person's been deemed an outlaw and shunned upon.
03:30And it's a story of the underdogs coming through and pulling through.
03:35And I think that's, so it's, you know, that's an uplifting kind of story to watch.
03:42You know, you want to see the underdogs come through, you know.
03:45All this protesting for your right, you know.
03:48You want to see everyone be able to get, you know, the underdogs triumph, you know.
03:54So, yeah, I think you can read into it however which way, you know.
04:00Okay.
04:01Thank you so much.
04:01Thank you very much.
04:03Combatete!
