00:39And Luke Davies as he was writing
00:41Is trying to find that right level
00:44So you still have respect for what's being talked about
00:46But also it's a humorous story
00:48There's humor in the story
00:49Making fun of the insanity and the absurdity of this abstract world
00:54That these people are squeezed into
00:56And I think that was his device that he used to get people to open their eyes up
01:01Was the absurdity of it all
01:03And within that absurdity, no, there's nothing funny about it
01:06The one thing I found about Cathcart that I was excited at when I was preparing for him
01:13Was I realized that once he got into this world
01:16He became someone he wasn't
01:18Because he had to be normal before he came into it
01:21And so I started thinking about who he was beforehand
01:24His wife, his possible kids, and his reality
01:27And then I started
01:28As the show goes on
01:30I started thinking about how he would
01:32Back up and little parts of his real life
01:34Would enter into his mind
01:36And so I played with that
01:39As it went along to give him a reality
01:41And I enjoyed that
01:42As an actor
01:43I liked playing that
01:45The Jocelyn character at the end of the series is completely naked
01:49It's almost like the common man who's naked in front of crazy decisions made above
01:54So how can we react to craziness of our leaders?
