26:51And what a month it's been for Anthony Edwards in this building into a dome starting on February 15th
26:57when Ant was named All-Star MVP after leading team stars to victory right on this court.
27:02And then 11 days later, you saw the shot on February 26th.
27:05The last time these two teams met, Edwards' All-Star, All-NBA-level heroics were on full display.
27:11He scored 31 in that ultimately game-winning and that ultimately game-winning corner three draped by two quality defenders

30:52And in a month where Minnesota has not shot it well outside the arc very well at all, Bones Highland
30:58has been excellent.

35:10I mean, shooting the three is a lot of their DNA,
35:12but playing fast, too, is one of the recipes for success.
35:16That's something Chris Finch talked about before the game
35:19that he said has been lacking the last two games
35:22against Orlando and against the L.A. Lakers.
35:24It's getting that pace up.
35:25And the third thing I'd like to be able to say about this team
35:28in terms of being part of their DNA is ball movement.
35:31That would be, I think if there was a wish list of things
35:35that Minnesota fans and people that cover this team,
35:38and particularly the coaching staff,
35:40is consistent ball movement and player movement,
35:43not getting stagnant, not playing iso basketball.
35:48You know, Jace Frederick had a really great stat
35:50on Dave Moore's podcast about usage rate
35:54for Anthony Edwards in the first quarter of games,
35:56that when Ant's usage is 23% or higher,
36:00Minnesota is 20-19 in those games.
36:03When it's lower than 23% usage in the first quarter,
36:07Minnesota's 12-2.
36:08And so that speaks to, like,
36:10when Ant's fully in iso mode and has a high usage rate,
36:14Julius gets into that play more,
36:16and then it limits getting Jaden involved,
36:18Dante involved, Rudy involved.
36:19And so the more that Minnesota can get
36:21those three others involved early in the game,
36:23it really is a recipe for success.

51:48And to get this group to defend like this is very impressive.
51:52They have forced 14 turnovers and turned them into 21 points.
52:07It's one thing to do it at the beginning of a ball game, too.
52:10It's one thing to come out in the first quarter and put pressure on the teams.
52:13But to be able to keep it up, and that's going to be what's interesting to see,
52:16is if Minnesota's done a great job of here of staying close in this game
52:20after being down big time and a 16 down at one point.
52:25And it didn't look good the way this game started,
52:27but for them to fight back has been really admirable for Minnesota.
52:30But the pressure that this Clipper team has put on has been really, really good.
