00:00So Caitlin, you just hosted a basketball training camp here in Taipei.
00:04Why was it important for you to do so?
00:07I think it's really important to me to be able to share what I've learned throughout my years.
00:12Not that it's been that many years, but to share that with the younger generation of athletes
00:18and continue to inspire them and show them that people like us can make it
00:24and be successful in sports like basketball.
00:27Oh, it was amazing. It was so fun to be able to interact with them and sort of just like
00:32have them at my camp.
00:33Like it was actually like I had a great time at the camp.
00:36As a Taiwanese American, do you feel that your Taiwanese heritage has somehow influenced your basketball career?
00:43Having grown up in the United States, but I think that my parents coming from Taiwan
00:52and having all those values instilled in them and that sort of characterizing who they are as people.
00:58I feel like that has translated into how they've raised me and my sister
01:02and the values that they've instilled in us like hard work, studying,
01:07making sure you stay on top of all your stuff and like, you know, all those sort of values.
01:12What advice would you give young Taiwanese girls who have the dream to play basketball professionally?
01:18If basketball is something that they truly find or something that they truly love
01:22and something that they're passionate about, to just sort of like stick with it.
01:25Because for me, basketball is still something that I love doing
01:28and work doesn't really feel like work to me because it's something that I have a lot of fun in.
01:34So sort of, I guess, find what their passion is and just keep pursuing it.
01:41It's kind of hard to get this detail.
01:41I mean, I'm happy that they've taken books, such as men and representation
01:41or whether they try to divert things or anything.
01:41I think you should do a whole thing and if you're taking a Any Sakura in the States.
01:41because I guess I'll give a lot of lives in my life.
01:42So far, in my life where we build a Japanese planet to be a kind of a kind of space
01:42but you know that you
