00:00So, look, I share the moral outrage about this money that Peter Mandelson still has it. On a numbers basis,
00:07you can see the decision that was made. Peter Mandelson started with a claim for £547,000.
00:14He's obviously threatened to take the government to an employment tribunal, where, by the way, even if you win your
00:19case, it's the usual rule that you don't recover your legal costs.
00:22So you can see why for value for money for the taxpayer, it was negotiated down to £75,000. But
00:29I think the decent thing, the honourable thing to do, would be for Peter Mandelson to give that money to
00:35charity, perhaps, may I suggest, a charity that supports victims.
