00:01What I liked about the script was that it was a very easy read. It was very enjoyable. I thought,
00:06wow, this is going to be entertaining. And by the way, and I don't mean to make a lie of
00:13this because it sounds like I'm being, but I love the title. I couldn't get enough of the title. Days
00:18after I read it, I kept thinking, Crazies. I don't know, sounds cool. Sounds like something I want to see.
00:24The Crazies.
00:29First of all, the makeup is scary, crazy, scary good. It's also, it's crazy how good they are, these makeup
00:39guys, and how much that helps my job.
00:45Joe, I've worked with before. He's fantastic. Joe's, he's just fantastic. I love him. Can't get enough of him.
00:54He's, he's fully committed and he's, he's, he's just really fun to work back. We have a, we've worked, did
01:03a movie before, so we kind of had a nice secondhand before we got here.
01:06And, um, that was great. And Danielle just seems lovely. Just an absolute sweetheart. Um, and you know, we're, it's
01:14kind of a movie to get that kind of a cast and such good actors. It's, you know, we're lucky.
01:20That's been good.
01:24When I got the script, it was, it was entertaining from the first few minutes. Just, I was just like,
01:30ooh, this is fun. Um, and it stayed with me for days.
01:34That and the title. Between the combination of the two, there was just something that felt like, um, it reminded
01:40me of, like, um, a good pop song.
01:43There was just something about it that was, um, it wasn't pretending to be anything, uh, highfalutin or great, but
01:48it was just fun and it's kind of resonated in a way and it was just, uh, just kept coming
01:52back to it.
01:56We just had this great, um, back and forth, phone calls, conversations, uh, meet him in his office and we'd
02:02go over and we talked about this endlessly.
02:04And I think I'm really quite proud that it felt like, um, like a day or two before shooting. I
02:10remember he and I thinking, we have a really great script. We were so excited.
02:15We were like, look at that. And I remember after the first day, he was so lovely. After our first
02:20day of shooting, he, he called me and, um, left me the nicest message about the day and enjoying working
02:27with me and all that.
02:28And I remember telling him, it was like, well, this is the fun part now. It's like, we, we, we
02:32felt like we went through this great, um, journey of, of, of, and now it's just kind of bringing it
02:39to life.
02:42These great characters and, and kind of, um, that's what it feels like we have. It feels like we have
02:48these really great characters that feel very real. And, um, and, uh, I'm hoping that it, it, it elevates that,
02:55you know, what you, what I think is you often see in the genre, you know, with, with some exception,
03:00obviously, you know, um, so that, that feels really great.
03:05And, you know, I think with that, we've got these great characters with these great relationships.
