00:08is about the decade-long
00:11search, hunt, and killing
00:13of Osama Bin Laden and all that
00:15took place. The movie more
00:17pertains to the CIA
00:20on the ground and
00:22giving the viewer a bit of
00:23information on finding out what
00:25the CIA did on the ground and the
00:27troubles that they ran across in
00:29finding the man.
00:34My specific role, I was the Station Chief
00:38stationed in Pakistan.
00:39I was unable to meet the actual man
00:41who I played the role of
00:44but my job was
00:45to take
00:48actionable intelligence
00:50and decide indeed
00:51whether it should be
00:53acted upon, whether
00:55whether it was valid to
00:58strike
00:59with the information given
01:01so it was a
01:02pretty heady
01:04kind of job, if you will.
01:10The most fun that I had working
01:11with Jessica
01:13and again, my part's
01:15limited in this deal, but
01:17working with her, she is, I'm the
01:19Station Chief and she's the new girl
01:21who comes into town basically
01:23and no one pays too much
01:25attention to her and they should
01:27have. And at one point
01:29we get into it because she
01:31keeps nagging me, coming with
01:32information, information, information
01:34and this is right after a big event occurs
01:36and I'm like, what the hell? Leave me alone.
01:39Do your job. And so there was
01:41this scene where I start here
01:43and Jessica starts here and the emotion
01:44of the scene and
01:46Catherine
01:48had us go like this
01:51and so within
01:52within this, I don't know
01:54how many times we did the scene, but it was fun
01:56it was very enjoyable
01:58and that's, that was the
02:00most enjoyable shooting aspect of it
02:02because you get to have a director
02:04like Catherine Bigelow
02:07you know, mess with you
02:08and play with the scene a little bit
02:10so that was like, that was like a little workshop
02:12that was very enjoyable
02:13He's fun people, he's
02:16like my dad used to say
02:18he's good people and
02:20I like his character a lot
02:22he's got that
02:24you know, he's got that
02:27you know, damned
02:28if you do, damned if you don't kind of deal
02:30going on and he plays a character
02:32who unlike my fellow
02:35he's in the field
02:36he's actually, he's doing the
02:38dirty work, I'm doing the intel work
02:40and he plays that very well
02:42you know, you saw him and
02:43he just came out lawless
02:46and I like watching him
02:48he's fun to watch
02:53You know, I, I
02:54this is the only
02:56thing I've ever done with
02:57Catherine
03:00it's the kind of deal where
03:02when I first met her in L.A.
03:05our initial meeting
03:06we started talking about horses
03:09so
03:10as soon as we start talking about horses
03:13it's two people
03:14I, I get it, I get you, I understand you
03:17and
03:18it was just, I don't know what to say other than
03:20it was, you know, it was just pleasurable
03:21and you know you're sitting with a
03:24highly intelligent person who is
03:27very, very
03:28artsy at her craft
03:29and
03:31who you can trust
03:32and
03:33who is
03:34very
03:35direct and clean
03:36with the direction
03:37and
03:38and is very pleasurable to be around
03:40so
03:40you know
03:41what more can you ask for?
