Transcript
00:00If Michelin was here in Australia, they'd get three.
00:09Greek is hot right now. It is hot. And we know that by the amount of Greek
00:13venues opening throughout Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and so forth. These are my favourite
00:19seven venues throughout Greece, Sydney, Melbourne, and regional Australia.
00:25Acre in Athens. What I call this all-day diner of all things Hellenic. The most incredible breads get
00:34made in the morning. Homely dishes all cooked over a fire using olive wood. Robata. Greek
00:42ingredients with a Japanese touch. Refreshing, thoughtful, delicious. Topios in the centre of
00:50Athens by one of the godfathers of Hellenic cuisine. A light, bright, and really refreshing.
00:57It is a must.
01:00Iliosumbasikethisia, which is probably one of the hardest words I've had to try and pronounce.
01:04It's an old candle shop converted into a Greek tavern, serving exceptional, exceptional Greek
01:12food technique driven with so much flavour. Let's move to Sydney, where in Cronulla right now for me
01:21is Homer. Homer is super cool, super tasty, super thoughtful. I've been there a couple of times
01:28now and I can't wait to go back. Let's also mention Olympus in Redfern in Sydney. It's the hottest
01:36restaurant in Australia right now. The most beautiful dining room you can imagine, but the
01:43food matches. Finally, a favourite of mine, Ipsos in Lawn in Victoria. Family-run business,
01:52warmth, generosity. Forget feeding stomachs, it's all about feeding souls and that's what Ipsos does.
