00:05I really became enamored of Guardians from the get-go because most of the world that Peter created was there
00:14and I really felt it was a project of great ambition, of great scope, of a visual richness and also
00:23a big heart.
00:24And I thought, well, you know, a lot of the themes, the ideas and the visuals in that movie had
00:30a lot in common with me and what I create and I felt it was a perfect match.
00:39The characters were designed very boldly and Peter had that very clear and we didn't want to go with a
00:48safe, pleasant design just to make it homogenous
00:53with everything that is out there and the movie takes a lot of risks and I think succeeds in texture,
01:01color, lighting, cinematography, instantly recognizable as a movie that is different than anything out there.
01:16I personally have a couple of moments in Guardians in which I still, after so many viewings, I still tear
01:22up and I'm still moved.
01:24So hopefully some parents will have that experience and it's not a movie that is just good for kids, it's
01:32a movie that is a beautiful family experience.
01:35And it's all of them void, but yeah.
01:35Well, it's pretty good about that.
