00:12When we first set out to see if there was
00:14an idea here to make another film
00:17we really
00:18wanted to delve into
00:19Mike and Sully's relationship and find out
00:22who these characters were before
00:23Monsters Incorporated and we thought what better way to
00:26do that than to go backwards and
00:27see when they first met and
00:29get to meet them at 18 and
00:31see who they were such different characters
00:34in the first film and then that
00:36led to college
00:37which we thought would be really fun
00:39a college filled with crazy monsters
00:42and then it also
00:43led to being able to tell
00:45Mike's story and that's something that we
00:47were really excited about

00:58One character that I just think
01:00or well sort of two characters that I think is funny is
01:02Terry and Terry
01:04they're just a fun use of the
01:06the monster world and I think it's such a
01:09universal thing the idea of
01:10not getting along with your siblings as much as you love them
01:13the idea of being stuck with them would be a nightmare
01:14and I think that
01:16Fabrizio and Francesco
01:19do such a
01:19phenomenal job in this film
01:22they were such a great choice to
01:24sell that idea
