Trascrizione
00:14I think that Dante has been overlooked. I think Dante has become the property of only
00:22intellectuals. And in fact, he was writing not only for intellectuals, but for people, all people.
00:32His message is for all of the world. That's the kind of man he was. Like any great, great man,
00:41he is trying to affect the world and to make it a better place to be and to understand the
00:49world.
00:50Because the world, especially now, is almost incomprehensible. It's hard to believe that
00:56there's so much war happening. It's hard to believe that it's not enough to be, it's not just
01:03Christian against Muslim against Jew. It's Christian against Christian. Muslim against Muslim. Jew
01:10against Jew. Something's wrong here. And I think Dante was talking about the path, the road.
01:20Everyone is looking for the road, the right way. And I think the honest search is what he
01:31was talking about.
