00:07We just had a little movie, you know, and some laughs, and some singing and dancing.
00:12You know, it was found by the fans, and that's why we're here tonight.
00:14We're here because fans fell in love with our little movie.
00:20Just really pleasantly surprised.
00:22Yeah, I mean, we all loved it.
00:23It was a passion project, felt like this little, sort of, fun movie we were making together
00:26and turned in another direction, and it's a cultural phenomenon,
00:28and there's cups, and there's DVD, and there's HBO, and it's nuts.
00:31And so I think we're all just trying to enjoy the ride together and take it all in, but...
00:36I did not have a clue.
00:38I tell you what, though, when I read the script, I knew it was something special and different,
00:41but I had no idea it was going to take off and do something this well.
00:48It is a sassy, crazy night.
00:49I'm so happy I'm wearing clothes, because if I did not, you would see the excitement coming out of my
00:54cells.
01:07I thought that the first premiere was a very big deal for me.
01:10It was my first big movie premiere, and now I feel like it was on some street corner somewhere.
01:14So now I'm like, okay, is this really what a premiere is like?
01:18And it's perfect at 7, I'll be like, on the moon, and be like, oh, this is a premiere.
01:28There's some amazing star power cameos that are going to be really, really great and exciting to see,
01:35and I think this will elevate the entire movie to a whole new level.
01:39All the humans that enjoyed the first one said, I like these 10 things.
01:42Well, guess it was, those 10 things are back and triply delicious.
01:46I mean, I think this one, I hope, is even better than the first one.
01:49I really think that we know each other really well.
01:52Our energy is kind of in tune, and we're twerking, we're hula hooping, there's fire, I'm glow sticking.
01:57It's pretty intense, but I'm really excited for everyone to see how far we go.
02:06I was such a huge fan of the first movie, so the idea of being a part of anything like
02:10this movie,
02:10let alone the sequel to the first one, was just so appealing to me, and I had to be involved.
02:17The first one was really chill from making it.
02:19The second one, we end up everything.
02:22The music is so great, and the choreography is awesome, and the storyline, I mean, everything about it.
02:27It's everything I think that they want, I hope that they want, so I think they'll be really happy.
02:34I mean, honestly, I was partially excited to direct because so few ladies ever get to direct anything.
02:39I felt like I had to say yes, and then I also really felt like I had something to say,
02:44and I love this story, I love these women, I really, I just think this singing and dancing is really
02:51fun.
02:52We had a great time making the movie.
