04:39days first couple of weeks of the first couple of days of the week we're just like okay max crosby's
04:43going to play for the ravens you would ask me on monday like ken does it matter to you i'm

04:47know i don't really expect much for this year with the bronze gonna worry about our situation if we
04:51were a a afc championship contending team like yeah i would have a big deal about that but it is
04:57something you pay attention to and then last night the ravens claim he failed a physical there are a
05:03bunch of different people say oh no that's not true either way they say claim the physical they he
05:09failed a physical and they're backing out of the deal like obviously there are players all the time
05:14that have that might be banged up that get traded you know we famously traded for a lemon with the
05:20isaiah thomas uh situation i had people tweeting us why didn't we turn that down the darius garland
05:26who's looked who looks like he's fully healthy again but you know there were people talking about
05:32how we had to throw in an extra pick because of the injury situation with darius and how his medicals
05:37weren't going to come back clean when they made that trade i had a bunch of people and you did

05:41you had i we might even had a call about it where they're like what if he fails his physical
05:47like james harden fails his physical or dare and we kind of rolled our eyes like it ain't gonna happen
05:51now it's like i can't roll my eyes on anything because this is well because i don't look at it

05:56pass fail physical i always assume that the team trading for them unless there's something that's been
06:02hidden like they already know that all right he's not going to be 100 healthy he's playing with this
06:09injury or he's had this injury now it's just a matter of how far along is he in rehab or

06:30know right off the tippy top he was recovering i know he was supposed to be out from uh significant
06:35meniscus repair on the knee and normally meniscus not a not a huge deal when you have an off season
06:40but they said he'd be back in like mid-june july anyway from that injury so i i didn't take

06:48the most extremely serious thing can i draw a couple of conclusions sure now well i'm i'm gonna speculate

13:13this going into these things um to have this happen for three days and then this did not happen
13:19i'd be beside myself if we were the home of the raiders and i grew up a raiders fan or

15:59improved compared to before surgery and then they had to throw in because obviously all these all these
16:04doctors they work together with these teams we truly respect the work of the raven staff with max
16:09regarding the contract physical exam we also understand the challenge the staff faces so it goes
16:14all into this says the timing of the assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will
16:18lessen as his recovery progresses my thing is what's the timetable for the exchange that's what i'm
16:27saying of the actual physical materials that's what i'm saying and if you were the raiders like
16:33let's just say i told you guys like i'm just gonna say this now this is gonna i i don't
16:40want
16:40to turn this into a different conversation i think that miles i think that a lot of people who are
16:45talking about trading miles i don't think they're necessarily wrong i just think they're early
16:49uh i think you could get to a point this coming year where not during the season or anything but
16:55that that dead cap hit goes from 103 to 55 which is a huge drop in one season if we
17:04were to turn
17:04around and say that you were actually going to hit the nuclear football and trade miles garrett next
17:09offseason right i mean you're looking at max you're getting two firsters two first rounders for max
17:13crosby you're getting three for miles and you probably get some other picks as well i mean it's
17:17miles garrett this is arguably as long as he goes through the year healthy as of right now he's one
17:21of
17:21the top four top five defensive ends ever played the game by the time it's all said and done he
17:25may
17:25may very well be the very best but that's my whole thing if miles has some off-season surgery or

17:31late season surgery and ends up playing or ends up failing a physical some way somehow i mean you think
17:38about what the raiders did they gave 27 million dollars to tie linder bomb because they're thinking
17:43hey we can go ahead and set the market it's fine we can even over set the market because we

17:47extra first round picks those two first round picks will come relatively cheap when it comes to that
17:51we have to protect fernando mendoza i mean at the end all this we're trying to be a competitive

17:59from now say we decide that we're going to you know we come off the deshaun watson deal we can

18:04that one off after june 1st though there's always there's always going to be something to pay later on

18:36already been made yes and obviously the market for these guys is going to change drastically too or at
18:43least state of affairs given that teams are going through their resources and their assets because now
18:48we're we're approaching day three of free agency the nfl's got to change rules and the rules are
18:54going to have to be something to do with hey before this trade is announced before it goes public
19:01exchange the medicals okay you guys got three hours you got two hours it's the only way that
19:07we could go through this because the ripple effect of this is way too impactful that's it's it's very
