00:00Previously on Bachelor Mansion Takeover.
00:03For almost 20 years, this mansion has been the stage
00:06for roses and rejections.
00:08But now this legendary house is about to get
00:11a transformation of its own.
00:13We've brought together 12 Bachelor Nation alumni
00:15to give this place the makeover it deserves.
00:18And the clock is ticking, because this renovation
00:21has to be finished before a new season
00:23of The Bachelorette begins.
00:25Week after week, you're gonna face new challenges,
00:27and in the end, one of you will walk away with $100,000.
00:34The first person to raise the gold hammer wins the challenge.
00:37That locks in immunity and is guaranteed safety
00:39for the first renovation challenge.
00:41Can you help me?
00:42Are you asking for...
00:44Yeah, that's...
00:45Because if I need help later on...
00:47Yeah, I got you.
00:47Attention to...
00:49Golden hammer!
00:52Yeah!
00:53Now you take me to the end, I take you to the end.
00:57That room you slept in last night,
00:59that's the room that you're gonna be renovating this week.
01:02This challenge is all about the bunk rooms.
01:05It's bachelors versus bachelorettes.
01:08It needs to be a sea blue, not a sky blue.
01:10Like, I don't think we should keep designing it.
01:12You can't walk off...
01:14I don't respect that.
01:15And I don't wanna work with a teammate who's gonna do that.
01:18Who's that?
01:19Oh!
01:19We have a fate card.
01:22Each team will vote off one member of their own team.
01:25Sandra.
01:26Damn.
01:27Jeremy, your time has come to an end.
01:30Whose idea was it for the Santorini room?
01:32Yeah, that was my idea.
01:33I don't love, like, a themed room.
01:36I absolutely loved the vanity.
01:38It was very well made.
01:39That was how Chris built that.
01:40Yeah.
01:41Ladies, you guys did an incredible job.
01:43You guys made bunk beds sexy.
01:44The winner is the ladies.
01:48Gentlemen, it's time to face the vote.
01:52Back at the voting booth.
01:54If Dean didn't have immunity, I'd probably vote for him.
01:58We're gonna go collect the votes, and then we'll be right back.
02:22Gentlemen, before we reveal the results, you should all be really proud.
02:27Of all the hard work you put in.
02:29And with that, the person leaving the mansion tonight is...
02:39Chris.
02:41Chris, I really am sorry.
02:43Take a moment and say your goodbyes.
02:44Thank you, guys.
02:45Thank you, brother.
02:47You've done some good work out there.
02:49Thank you, man.
02:50Thank you, judges.
02:51Oh.
02:53The majority got cut short, disappointed, to say the least.
02:56I believe they made a mistake.
02:58But sometimes, the most experienced can be perceived as a threat.
03:03And I believe that's what happened here.
03:05Who knows how the game is gonna go.
03:07They're gonna have to watch their back.
03:09It's not over.
03:10Not for me.
03:12You guys did not.
03:13You sent Chris home.
03:14All right.
03:15You guys did not send Chris home.
03:16All right.
03:17You guys got praised on the craftsmanship, and you sent him home.
03:21You guys would have had this reaction for anyone that got sent home.
03:23No.
03:24Someone had to get sent home.
03:25No.
03:25You're right.
03:26Someone would have had to get sent home regardless.
03:28Chris was eliminated.
03:29I'm not feeling happy about it.
03:30You know, we have to think about who has skills that we really need.
03:34And I think that Chris had skills that we really need.
03:36And then there were seven.
03:38Nine.
03:39It's nine.
03:39Oh, gross.
03:41I'm like...
03:41The worst part about that, I was like, yeah, seven.
03:44I also couldn't open the box.
03:46Two people.
03:47Two dials.
03:48Oh.
03:55Here they are.
03:56Good morning.
03:57Morning, Courtney.
03:57How you doing?
03:58Super duper.
03:59All right.
03:59Well, good morning, everybody.
04:00How are y'all feeling?
04:01Great.
04:01Great.
04:02Good.
04:02We get some rest?
04:03So for this challenge, you're going to be renovating one of the most legendary spaces in
04:08Bachelor history, which you're standing in right now.
04:11That's right.
04:12You're renovating the Rose Room.
04:14Woo!
04:15Woo!
04:16Woo!
04:17Nice!
04:18The Rose Room is so public-facing with so many years of different design aesthetics.
04:26It deserves the best facelift it can get.
04:29We have so many iconic moments that live rent-free in our heads.
04:32Oh, yeah.
04:34Um.
04:37This is a space that is guaranteed to be shown on camera during rose ceremonies time after
04:43time again.
04:44Jade, will you accept this rose?
04:46There's a lot of pressure on this specific challenge, just knowing that the world will
04:50really be watching.
04:51Now, in a moment, each of you is going to draw one of nine scrolls from this champagne
04:56bucket.
04:56The scroll you pull, that locks in your zone.
04:59And the other contestants with the same scroll, those will be your teammates.
05:04Oh.
05:06Yeah.
05:06So the zones are the living space, the candle room, and lastly, the bar and wine cellar.
05:15So let's get started.
05:18Alicia, come on up.
05:21I think everybody is a little nervous because we obviously don't know who's going to be
05:25working together.
05:26But I do think that Joan and Alicia probably have the best eye when it comes to design and
05:32interior work.
05:33So I wouldn't mind getting on a team with them.
05:36All right.
05:36Alicia, we'll start with you.
05:40The living space.
05:42The candle room.
05:43Ooh.
05:44Good one.
05:46The bar.
05:48Guess what?
05:49I have the bar.
05:50The gods have given me what I wanted.
05:53I've opened up six different restaurants, so I feel like this is really up my wheelhouse.
05:57The living space.
05:58Ooh.
05:59Great.
06:00There's no beating around the bush.
06:01You can see it on my face.
06:03I can't hide anything.
06:04I know what it's like working with Alicia, and it can be really difficult to get your point
06:09across.
06:09The candle room.
06:10I've got the bar.
06:12I've got the candle room.
06:14I've got TV.
06:16Living space.
06:18All right.
06:18There we go.
06:19That's not bad.
06:20It's Paradise Season 7 crew.
06:22Hi.
06:22I'm Taylor.
06:23You look good, bro.
06:25It's Noah.
06:26Oh, yeah.
06:27It is Noah.
06:28Everybody should get a fair shot unless you need them.
06:30I'm going to do the same.
06:31Wow.
06:32All right.
06:32So now you all know who's on your teams.
06:33Why don't you all pair up?
06:36To win this challenge and remain safe, each team has two days to finish this challenge.
06:45Also, somewhere within your design, each team has to incorporate the essence of a rose.
06:51Hmm.
06:51And each team will have 45 minutes to lock in your design plans from an array of preselected
06:56materials.
06:57So choose wisely.
06:59Now, at the end of the challenge, the judges are going to decide which team outperformed
07:03the rest, and that will be the team that's safe from elimination.
07:07Now, for the rest of you, this is important.
07:11It's the winning team that will decide which of you stays and which of you goes.
07:17Why?
07:19So you really, really want to win.
07:25Everybody here has their eyes set on $100,000.
07:30And remember, thinking big.
07:33Okay?
07:34That's what's going to separate you all from the rest.
07:37All right, guys.
07:37What are you sticking around for?
07:38We've got two days.
07:39Chop, chop.
07:40We've got a challenge we've got to.
07:41Let's go.
07:42Okay, so what we need to decide in this meeting right now is the countertops, backsplash,
07:50wall treatment for the wine cellar, and the shelving design.
07:54Okay.
07:54So I think these are definitely, like, the biggest focal points that we have to make
07:58the biggest splash in this challenge.
08:01After losing last week, I'm going to kind of re-strategize a little bit.
08:06I'm not going to argue with anyone or go back and forth with anyone too, too much.
08:10But let's figure out the countertops.
08:12Yeah.
08:12But I'm definitely going to be a little more assertive this week.
08:14I'm leaning towards, like, darker and moodier because this is the rose room and people crying
08:22here and their whole lives could potentially change in here.
08:25I think we should lean into that with dark and moody.
08:28I'm team moody.
08:29Okay, let's go dark.
08:30For this sort of vibe.
08:31I mean, our breadwinner is going to be our back wall with the shelves.
08:35I don't like this existing structure.
08:37Yeah, I don't know.
08:37We can clean this up, though.
08:38Building a structure is going to take time.
08:40I don't want to waste so much time because we can make these shelves work.
08:43I think we should go arches.
08:46I think arches in here, definitely.
08:47Three arches.
08:48One.
08:49Boom.
08:50Boom.
08:51And then we can have this shelf.
08:52It complements the candle room.
08:54Let's start out with just kind of our general idea about this wall.
08:57And I have a big one because I've been in here before.
09:00I should probably describe it to you, right?
09:01Yes, please.
09:02I'm intrigued.
09:03It's a different color every season, as you know.
09:04This whole wall is full of candles.
09:06It's where you have, like, intimate conversations.
09:08So, you know, you and a bachelor or you and a bachelor.
09:10But not a hangout.
09:11Not a hangout.
09:12More of an intimate setting.
09:13It was really kind of intimate setting.
09:15So making it more multifunctional would be great for us.
09:17So it can be the candle room, but maybe also a little, like, more intimate gathering place
09:21for more than just two people.
09:23I was thinking that we certainly want to, like, honor our arches in here.
09:27So I was thinking about doing one large one in the middle and have a built-in sofa.
09:31Okay.
09:31Then on either end, smaller arches.
09:33I also think that the shelves should match these beams right here.
09:36So you're thinking the insert that we build for the candles and stuff, whatever color we
09:42were to, like, stain that would match the beams as well, right?
09:44I think so.
09:44Okay.
09:45And then should we do, like, something that stands out with the tile?
09:49I love that tile.
09:50I mean, it's gorgeous.
09:50I mean, like, maybe, and then you can do your art.
09:53I kind of like it.
09:54I'm with you.
09:55I agree.
09:56So our design plan is to have three arches.
09:59The center arch will contain our sofa, which will be the setting for those intimate conversations.
10:05We got a beautiful tile going on the wall with an awesome portrait.
10:09And then on the side, we'll have some shelves with candles all over the shelving and stuff like that.
10:14Sam, doing great.
10:16It's so fun to work with the nail.
10:17I feel like we need to prioritize the fireplace because it's going to be the focal point.
10:21And then we can kind of work the colors off of that.
10:23We have two options for the wall colors.
10:26Do you guys have...
10:27The darker one.
10:28I agree.
10:28I prefer the darker one.
10:30I need to waste time if we all agree.
10:32Okay.
10:32We have 45 minutes to complete all of our selections.
10:35Uh, sofas.
10:36Oh.
10:37And for our specific zone, most of it is furnishing the place and furniture planning, space layout.
10:44So I'm excited to have those big choices, but with a lot of responsibility comes a lot of risk.
10:50My initial vision was to have this all tiled like a high shine, like dark color just for the fireplace.
10:56But it doesn't seem like that's an option, so I don't want to do that.
10:59I do kind of like the idea of just having like a mural situation over here.
11:05This whole wall.
11:06Alicia, it seemed like you gravitated more towards those tiles though.
11:09I love those tiles.
11:10And I think as shingles, like that pays ode to the roof of the hacienda style.
11:14With this all over and a matching ceiling, it's going to be...
11:18But look at how similar this is.
11:20I think having cohesion and everything is going to be much more to our advantage.
11:25Okay.
11:27This is like...
11:30True.
11:30It looks great.
11:32What surface or texture are you guys thinking for the arches though?
11:37Hear me out.
11:38Something like this as a Roman clay.
11:41The whole thing, the walls and the arches where it kind of just blends all together.
11:46Do you want to do the Roman clay on the face of the shelves and the wall?
11:51Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
11:53Um, I know that's risky.
11:55That is risky.
11:56They keep saying bold and what Jesse keeps saying bold.
11:59I know, but I think that's a bold move there.
12:01Honestly, I'm a little worried about all of the Roman clay, but I need to build more social game with
12:07both Brendan and Noah.
12:09So I think my way of going about it is listening.
12:13Let's move to the wine room.
12:14All of the weird shingles in the wine room have to be removed.
12:18Yeah, yeah.
12:18The shelving and the wine rack.
12:21Black steel with that, what do you think?
12:23I think so.
12:23Yeah.
12:24I think this wide open is huge.
12:26And then something cool and aesthetic here like, you know, quartz or whatever countertop it is.
12:32Can we put a countertop on glass?
12:33Yeah, we can frame it up so it'll support the weight.
12:35Okay.
12:36We could run the same countertop.
12:37Yeah, yeah.
12:38That's gonna look sick.
12:40Let's do lighting really quickly.
12:41Candles will be easy because we can do a variety of candles.
12:43I kind of like this.
12:44I think it represents this room pretty well.
12:46I like that.
12:46I like it.
12:48Oh, Jesus, guys.
12:49Okay.
12:49We need a rug.
12:50I kind of like these two guys.
12:52I do too.
12:52I was thinking...
12:53Oh, we need lamps for that.
12:54Oh, this is a good pillow.
12:56Put this on our pillow section.
12:57Okay.
12:57Have we thought about any other...
12:58We need pillows, guys.
12:59Pillows, pillows, pillows, pillows.
13:00We need the candles.
13:01Candles, candles, candles, candles.
13:03We need a big round table.
13:05Guys, big round table is more important than anything.
13:06She just sees a blank wall and she gets the paintbrush out and she just is off to the races.
13:12I kind of want to use the mural.
13:13Let's make it work.
13:14I think my, like, just personal style leans so much lighter.
13:19I know, but this room is like, I want it to be sexy, dark, moody.
13:22Yeah.
13:23I think we do tile.
13:24But it's going to be so boring.
13:26Like, I just don't want it to be so boring.
13:28I vote tile.
13:30Oh, don't make me be the tiebreaker.
13:32You need to be the tiebreaker.
13:33You love being the tiebreaker.
13:35I just feel like it's going to be flat.
13:37Mmm.
13:37If this flops, then you can send me home.
13:39No, it's not about sending you home.
13:40It's about me having immunity.
13:42That's why I'm really advocating for this.
13:43I want to be safe and I want to pick who's going home.
13:45I think we're going to pull it off.
13:46I think we're going to pull it off.
13:46And I think this is a huge risk and I think that's going to pay off.
13:48I think that's a huge risk too.
13:49A mural is so 2008.
13:52I don't think so.
13:53Hmm.
13:54Dean, you have to make the decision.
13:55I will.
13:56I will make the decision.
13:58Right now.
13:59We have seconds.
14:00That's a lot of pressure.
14:06Dean, you have to make the decision.
14:07I will.
14:08I will make the decision.
14:10Right now.
14:11We have seconds.
14:12That's a lot of pressure.
14:13On one hand, I got some tile.
14:15On the other hand, I got some mural.
14:17No idea where to go.
14:20I'm stuck in the middle, man.
14:21I am going to make my decision and my decision is mural.
14:28Okay.
14:29We better not lose because of that decision.
14:32I'll take the heat if we lose.
14:34I am so into the world of fashion and design and specifically like Southern California design.
14:40And as far as aesthetic and design style, like Jill's sucks.
14:44It really does.
14:45I think you're making the wrong decision with the mural.
14:48She's going to kill me.
14:49That's okay.
14:50That's my final word.
14:52You guys do whatever you want to do.
15:01Let's go.
15:02Let's go.
15:04Wow, that was so easy.
15:06How did you do that so fast?
15:07Kind of boy controlling.
15:11Is that what you were looking for?
15:17It's going to add so much extra.
15:19This is going to be beautiful.
15:21Think about side tables that you like.
15:23And what is like functional and cool about them.
15:26We've all said like previously, we don't even remember seeing the pedestal.
15:29So it's obviously not intentionally wanting to be like.
15:32I think of like how iconic it was like when Hannah Brown moved the pedestal.
15:37Why are you here?
15:38I need to talk to you.
15:39No.
15:41Please leave.
15:43This isn't over for me yet.
15:45Oh my God.
15:45Well, all right.
15:47We need to figure out how we can really accentuate the rose portion of this challenge.
15:51So we're going to be redesigning the rose podium.
15:54We could do like a fluted situation.
15:57I like sculptural pieces.
15:59That's kind of where the bachelor or bachelorette would be reaching down for the roses.
16:02There's only one rose left this evening.
16:04Boom.
16:04Tight shot on the rose.
16:05So redesigning the podium, I can only imagine it's going to be extra brownie points for us.
16:12Ideal, we can do a wrought iron base of some sort really thin and then wood on the top.
16:17I think that would look really nice.
16:20Okay.
16:20Do I have an idea for it?
16:22Yeah, sure.
16:22But like I'm going to let her take the lead on the podium and we'll see what happens.
16:27Okay.
16:28Love that.
16:29Did you guys want to just do the rose flower itself for the emblem or do you want to do
16:34it with a stem?
16:35If we can go with a stem to make it actually a distinct rose and then make it blend in
16:40with the same color or Roman clay.
16:42We need to incorporate the rose some way, somehow in our design.
16:45So we're going to try to get a 3D printing of the rose and then Roman clay over it just
16:50so it's very subtle.
16:51If you are looking, you'll see it, but it's not so much in your face.
16:54Good. We're happy with this?
16:54Yeah, I'm really happy about this.
16:56Okay.
16:56Sam, what are you thinking?
16:58It looks too striped to me.
17:00I've been sanding that for 20 minutes and you see how far I've got.
17:03I think that whenever we put the stain on, I just don't think it's going to look good.
17:08It's looking peachy to me. It's orangey. I'm afraid it's not going to stay in the right color anyway.
17:11We have a lot of different wood colors going on there. The floor is different. The door to the kitchen
17:16is different.
17:16I think we need to, you know, figure out how to tie them together.
17:20Did you guys consider going darker?
17:23Darker with what? The beams?
17:25I don't want to go any darker with them.
17:28We've got a picture. The walls are going to be lighter. We've got black fixtures.
17:32I do love a black.
17:32It will look modern.
17:34We're not fighting with the color of that, because right now we're fighting with this.
17:37It's the classic black.
17:39Alright, classic black it is.
17:40And they have black fixtures, and they said to go bold on this.
17:45Oh, yeah.
17:46What do you guys think?
17:46Yeah, it looks awesome. A little Roman clay in that baby, and we'll be all set.
17:49You love this Roman clay.
17:51Well, because we're going to use it, so...
17:54You're not sure yet?
17:57Well, I've never worked with Roman clay myself, but I'm going to trust Brendan, because that's kind of his wheelhouse.
18:03Good job, guys.
18:04Proud of you.
18:06I've honestly gotten to know both Brendan and Noah in the dating scene on Paradise, but there are still some
18:12social games to be played here, and some seating to be done.
18:16Do you want to form our alliance that we started in the beginning?
18:20I've always tried to save you. If anyone was like, hey, I want to vote for Brendan, I'd be like,
18:22I don't think that's the right choice.
18:23Someone has said that before?
18:26They have.
18:28One of the girls?
18:28Mm-hmm.
18:30That's rude.
18:31Well, I think they were just trying to see, like, who would go home most likely. They said that you
18:34or Noah would go home.
18:36I think what changes now is that the winning team is going to send someone home. Do we send home
18:42the strongest person?
18:44For me, I would rather bring someone along with me that could help me. You would be an asset to
18:50my game down the road.
18:52Just something to be mindful of for when we win and we have to decide who goes home.
18:59You guys have better back stab me after this. We have rapport, so...
19:03I appreciate that. No, I'm not going to say anything to anyone.
19:19Alicia, does this make you more or less mad that we're not doing the tile?
19:23More because it's dark.
19:26I think Jill's going to be really worried if this doesn't pay off with the judges. I think she'll probably
19:31assume that she has a target on our back or that I would be willing to send her home.
19:35And, yeah, I probably would, I guess, actually, if it came down to it.
19:38There's no use in talking about it. It's done.
19:42Bye-bye, tile.
19:54Why am I always so tired in the afternoon?
19:58Oh, my God.
20:01Hey, get out of here. You're not supposed to see any of this.
20:03Interesting.
20:05Is this your roaming clay?
20:06You're not supposed to see me smear mud on the walls.
20:09I like this.
20:10This is better than your blue ceiling idea.
20:12Oh!
20:12Well, this is all...
20:13This is much better than your painting.
20:14I've put a lot of my effort and energy into being professional and doing well and having my role,
20:19but I have not put equal amount of energy and thought into the competition aspect of this.
20:25So I don't want to, like, make it awkward or anything, but if you guys win, who are you going
20:27to vote out?
20:28Someone probably in the candlelight room.
20:29That's the only option is somebody from candle room.
20:32Yes.
20:33Yeah.
20:33But can we all just make an agreement right now?
20:35Candle room goes first.
20:36Okay.
20:40Do I have your love here? Do I have...
20:42Yeah.
20:42Okay.
20:43If you backstab us, of course, I always love you.
20:46Okay.
21:01Fate card, huh?
21:05Hey, guys, can I get everyone's attention for a second?
21:08Oh, we hate that.
21:10We got a little fate card situation.
21:13What do you guys think it is?
21:14Golden hammer or elimination.
21:17Cut once and measure twice to prove you're a survivor.
21:21Whichever player is the most precise will win the golden screwdriver.
21:30One by one, make your way to the front of the mansion where more instructions will follow.
21:34Oh, my God.
21:35Go.
21:35Go.
21:36So the golden screwdriver is obviously a different tool than the golden hammer.
21:40But I'm curious what this golden screwdriver will grant me when I win.
21:45Take one piece of wood and attempt to cut it at exactly 17 and a half inches in length.
21:49When you are done, write your name on your piece of wood and place it in the crate.
21:52The closest without going over will win the golden screwdriver.
21:56No tape measures, no rulers, just your eyes, a pencil, and a chop saw.
22:02Wow.
22:03I know that I'm 74 inches tall, and I mark the top of my head.
22:06Boom, 74 inches.
22:09Okay.
22:10And my body is nine palm lengths high.
22:14Let's divide 72 by nine.
22:16All of a sudden, we get eight.
22:17So that way, I know one hand length is eight inches.
22:20So I go two palm lengths, mark that for 16 inches, and then I really just have to guess that
22:26last inch and a half,
22:27which is a lot easier to guess than 17 and a half.
22:29So I think I got a pretty fair chance of winning that.
22:32I think that looks good.
22:37What's done is done.
22:4618 would be here.
22:48Okay.
22:49I'm ready.
22:52I'm not sure what the golden screwdriver entails.
22:54If that person gets to send someone home, it's going to be huge, and I don't think the stakes could
22:59be higher.
23:07I desperately want the golden screwdriver this week.
23:10I've heard my name thrown around a little bit, that maybe I'm one of the weaker guys here.
23:16Who knows?
23:17So I would love to just protect myself from going home this week.
23:22Jesus, take the saw.
23:34I think that the judges will appreciate, like, something homemade.
23:38We're in the middle of doing a piece of artwork.
23:39It was Courtney's idea.
23:40And it's a row, so it's really our nod to part of our challenge.
23:45Courtney is drawing it out, and we're starting to take these pieces of fabric and gluing them on it to
23:51give this 3D rose effect.
23:53We're trying to build some texture, dimension.
23:56It is a 3-person job, because it's a lot to get done.
23:59It has to be done by the end of today.
24:00Courtney, this is going to be sick.
24:03That looks beautiful.
24:04Wait, this looks better than I thought.
24:06Look at the gold flakes in it.
24:08This is beautiful.
24:09And it showed up a lot more than the sample, like the gold flakes.
24:15Oh, like a glove.
24:20Guys, look at the rose.
24:22Oh, sweet.
24:23I think we should measure out where we want it.
24:24Yeah, that looks awesome.
24:25Yeah.
24:26Are we doing straight up and down, or do we want to do it at an angle?
24:29Ooh.
24:29I think at an angle.
24:30I think that's perfect right there.
24:32I feel good about that.
24:33Let's start on the wine wall.
24:34Yeah, let's do it.
24:35All right, Mitch.
24:37I got something for you.
24:38Uh-oh.
24:38We are going to incorporate the essence of a rose into our pedestal.
24:43We'll have an etched rose that Mitch will help us execute.
24:47Alicia, what do you think about four similar ones just like this?
24:50Surrounding it.
24:51Yeah.
24:52Love that idea, Mitch.
24:53I think exactly what you're doing, and that's going to look super romantic, like a vine crawling up.
24:58I think it will be beautiful.
25:00I just don't know if it will be novel enough to stick out to the judges.
25:04That turns.
25:15Hell yeah.
25:18It's dark and moody, sexy as Jill put it.
25:21Alicia, do you think we made the right choice?
25:23I stand by it without.
25:24Without it out, the mural's 110% the wrong decision.
25:28A mural is just so generic.
25:38Oh, yeah.
25:46Obviously, Alicia didn't get her way, and there's still a little bit of resentment brewing on both sides.
25:52I feel like I'm safe here because, although I was the tie-breaking vote, I wasn't the person to present
25:57the idea to the group.
25:59So, if the mural is bad and we lose, that's on Jill. If the mural is great and we win,
26:04that's on all of us.
26:05So, hopefully, I'm absolved a little bit.
26:08Yeah.
26:09Oh, yeah.
26:11You guys are on the same team?
26:13Yeah.
26:14Yeah.
26:14Okay.
26:14And I wanted Jill.
26:16I know.
26:18I feel like Jill and Alicia now are just probably never even going to want to talk to each other
26:22again.
26:38Yeah.
26:42Okay.
26:43Let's see.
26:46Hand that off.
26:47Yeah.
26:48So, we still have to finish staging all of the furniture.
26:50We're not quite sure what it looks like until it's in the space.
26:55Okay.
26:56So, now we need to rock with accessories.
26:58Yeah, let's do these because they have a straight back.
27:00I'm honestly feeling very confident about our space.
27:03I know that the mural, it's going to be hit or miss.
27:06Whoever's judging is either going to love it or they're going to hate it.
27:08Can you see the rose on the top?
27:10Oh, there's the rose.
27:12Oh, my God.
27:12Yay.
27:13Thank you, Mitch.
27:15I love it.
27:15So glad they're finally here.
27:17I know.
27:17I can't wait to see them.
27:18I know.
27:19Sam, this frame looks amazing.
27:21Can I get a rocks glass, please?
27:26The bars coming together are absolutely amazing.
27:29I think the wine cellar is one of my favorite pieces of the house.
27:32But number one priority is finishing up the fine details.
27:36I think we should put these over here and bring in the second couch.
27:39I personally do not like the two couches together in the same space.
27:43But you do?
27:44Well, if you do, then do it.
27:46I'm dying.
27:47I'm praying and hoping I need this golden screwdriver
27:52just because I don't have, like, full creative control.
27:56Cut me loose.
27:56Let me run.
27:57This back is crazy.
27:59Ah!
28:00A little higher.
28:02Joan, you got dirt on the rug.
28:04Oh, no!
28:05Oh, my God.
28:05Maybe put a plant behind it so it kind of falls over.
28:08We have 15 minutes.
28:09Holy crap.
28:09We need to know exactly where this furniture is going to go.
28:12Stop moving.
28:13It's the last move.
28:13Stop moving things around.
28:15Will you help me try to get this behind the couches
28:17just to make a final decision on that?
28:19I'm worried we're going to run out of time.
28:20Ten minutes!
28:22Uh, Joan, Courtney, I need you all to take a look at this real quick.
28:25Okay.
28:26Yep.
28:27Uh, other way around.
28:29Yep.
28:29Yeah.
28:29Love it!
28:30No, I hate this.
28:31This is terrible.
28:32This is terrible.
28:33I think we...
28:34No, you put that on.
28:35Oh, yeah.
28:35That's a good place.
28:37Hello.
28:38We need these on our shelves.
28:3910 seconds, guys.
28:4010 seconds.
28:41Okay.
28:42It's all right.
28:42I'll get them to figure...
28:43I'll get them figured out.
28:44Time's up!
28:46We need 10 more seconds.
28:47Time is up!
29:02Hey, guys.
29:04Hi.
29:04Oh.
29:05My.
29:07Gosh.
29:09This is unbelievable.
29:13You had two days.
29:14Yep.
29:15It felt quicker than that, too.
29:16It really did.
29:17Before we see all your work, let's meet tonight's judging panel.
29:24Holy smokes.
29:25Wow.
29:27Am I in the right room?
29:28This is incredible.
29:28Oh.
29:29And joining them tonight...
29:31Ooh.
29:31I like shiny things.
29:32...is somebody that knows a thing or two about transformation.
29:38Ooh.
29:39She has renovated some of the most recognizable homes...
29:43Give me what I want.
29:44...on all of television.
29:47Hi, everyone.
29:48Ooh!
29:49Ooh!
29:54Please welcome top HGTV designer...
30:00...Christina Hawk!
30:02Ooh!
30:07Thank you, Jesse.
30:09Hi, Christina.
30:09Hi, everyone.
30:10Hi.
30:11Our guest judge is Christina Hawk, like HGTV royalty.
30:16Somebody that really understands the pressure that we were under.
30:19You know, she's a great designer.
30:21Obviously, designing a beautiful space is really hard, but so is finding love.
30:28I'm looking for a space that tells a story.
30:32I really want to see an elevated design, but something that comes from your heart.
30:35So, you guys will be judged on design, execution, and creativity.
30:41And I'm so excited to see how you guys incorporated a rose in your final designs.
30:46Now, together, your judges are going to decide which team delivered...
30:50...and which of you are at risk of going home.
30:53So, let's get into it.
30:55Contestants, why don't you head on into the Mixer Room.
30:57You can take a break.
30:58We are going to walk around and take a closer look at all of your great work.
31:04All right, judges.
31:05Let's begin with the living space.
31:07This is incredible.
31:14This was Dean, Alicia, and this was Jill.
31:17I'm obsessed with it.
31:19It feels so cozy and warm.
31:21Yes.
31:21I'm glad they did muted colors.
31:23Same.
31:23Then they used pops of colors with the furniture, which I think was a better use of color.
31:27I completely agree.
31:28I love that they used the wallpaper in here.
31:30Mm.
31:31I like the touch, but I think the Roman clay with the mural, that's maybe where the tones just don't
31:38quite flow.
31:39Mm-hmm.
31:40So, what do you guys think about the podium?
31:41Beautiful.
31:42This is a special piece that can be used season to season to season.
31:46They made the bachelor mansion sexy.
31:48Mm-hmm.
31:50Here's a room that I used to always forget about.
31:51The candle room.
31:52This is very different from what this room used to look like.
31:57It was Courtney, Joan, and Sam.
32:01Wow.
32:01So pretty.
32:02And I really like that they did the light stain here, and then the dark stain on the ceiling treatment.
32:07I think it draws your eye in different directions.
32:09I love the built-in.
32:10I do wish the walls on the insides were a little bit thicker, not just an overhang like this.
32:15Kind of gives it a little bit of a cheaper look.
32:17And I just wish the sconce would fit this trim piece better.
32:21That's a good eye.
32:22I agree.
32:23And that art looks handmade.
32:24It is.
32:25Wow.
32:25Oh, my God.
32:27In the past, this wall was loaded with candles.
32:31I mean, it was called the candle room for a reason.
32:32For a reason.
32:33I think you walk in here and feel like, oh, it's a living room.
32:35I don't think it's as dramatic as the old candle room.
32:38It's a fresh take on it.
32:39I don't know if it's going to have the same effect.
32:42You all want a drink?
32:43Yeah.
32:43Please.
32:44Let's go.
32:45Shaking and stir.
32:47We haven't even found out who has golden screws.
32:50What do you think the golden screwdriver does?
32:53Do you think they'll screw somebody?
32:55Yeah.
32:56I feel like you'll probably send somebody home.
32:59It definitely gets you immunity, but it can't be from this challenge because we don't even
33:02know who it is yet.
33:03I don't truly know what's going on.
33:04I just know there's tomfoolery afoot, and I can't put my finger on it.
33:09Yeah.
33:09Something's coming.
33:13Wow.
33:13What do you think?
33:15It's very pretty.
33:17This was Brendan, Tammy, and Noah.
33:21As a former bachelorette, I love the rose there.
33:25It's not like so in your face.
33:27I just think the whole wall feels kind of flat.
33:29It's just everything's the same color.
33:31For me, I would have liked to see it either inside or outside, but not both.
33:37I agree.
33:38It doesn't pop.
33:39So this is actually really special.
33:40You did not know that there was a wine cellar behind this.
33:42It almost looked like it was just like an image behind it because it was fully covered
33:46in waterfall glass.
33:48I think this is gorgeous.
33:49It's stunning.
33:51This is much more modern, much more sleek.
33:53I like this part a lot.
33:54I love this.
33:55It does feel like a really high-end restaurant.
33:57It definitely is super eye-catching.
33:58I think they nailed that.
33:59Overall, I think every single one of these spaces are gorgeous.
34:04They did an excellent job considering how much time they had,
34:07and so this is going to be a really tough decision.
34:10Let's call everybody back in.
34:15All right, everybody.
34:16We're going to start with the living room space.
34:18First thing I noticed is the mural.
34:21Whose decision was that?
34:24Jill.
34:25Jane was such a high-breaking vote.
34:31I love it.
34:33I love it.
34:34We talked about it in the beginning.
34:35We're supposed to take risks and add a fun, fresh take on the mansion,
34:39and I thought it did just that.
34:43Oh, my God.
34:45Everybody's going to have a different opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.
34:48They're just like , everyone's got one, and they think so.
34:52The thing that should have stood out a little bit more was your essence of the rose.
34:57I love the podium.
34:58I think it's beautiful.
34:59However, I'm not going to lie, it did get lost when I was looking at the room as a whole.
35:05For me, the wallpaper feels a bit overdone, but I think that the color choices in here are such a
35:13significant improvement from the before.
35:15It feels really cozy, intentional, well thought out.
35:19Thanks.
35:20Now, we're going to talk about the candle room.
35:23Christina.
35:24I think this room is stunning.
35:25The first thing I noticed when I walked into the space was that tile.
35:29I am a sucker for a star and a cross, and the color is so pretty.
35:34I think it's such a nice homage to the rose.
35:36It's a room I would have in my own house.
35:38I really like it.
35:39I love this hand-painted art.
35:41Courtney, did you do that?
35:42Yes.
35:43Job well done there.
35:45The way that you guys use the furniture and the decor from Wayfair, you guys did a phenomenal job.
35:50I think it just filled the space wonderfully.
35:53But the candle room is the candle room.
35:55I thought I could just have been a little bit more symbolic of that.
36:00It's such a dramatic room, but the candles fell a little flat.
36:05Now, the bar area and the wine cellar.
36:08The first thing I noticed was the rose detail.
36:14I thought that was so special.
36:16I love it so much.
36:17What I love is the countertop.
36:18I like that you carried it through here when you got rid of the waterfall glass.
36:21Looking at the built-in, I don't know if it's maybe the finish from the Roman clay,
36:26or if it's just because the arches aren't that deep.
36:29I'm just not a big fan of it.
36:31I absolutely love the wine rack.
36:34I think it really pops.
36:35It looks super high-end.
36:36I think it's gonna make a really beautiful backdrop for the rose ceremony.
36:40Looks stunning.
36:42So, after a lot of consideration, the judges have made their decision.
36:48The winning team is...
37:02The winning team is...
37:12The living space, Jill, Alicia, and you.
37:18Yay!
37:21When you take a risk, it pays off.
37:25Sometimes.
37:26Oh, my God.
37:27As the winning team, each of you will now elect one person from the losing spaces that you think should
37:36be up for elimination.
37:39Oh.
37:41Please head into the deliberation room and cast your belts.
37:45This is gonna be really hard.
37:51You guys have any, like, immediate people to lob out there?
37:53Well, I hate everybody.
37:55Kind of stupid for us to put two girls in the bottom.
37:58Yeah, I agree.
37:58I think we do two boys, and I think we go...
38:00Well, wait a second, wait a second, wait a second.
38:02Like, I have a huge concern that boys are gonna boy.
38:06I don't feel comfortable moving into the next elimination knowing we've given you guys that power to come back, and...
38:11Because you're not gonna do that for us.
38:12No, they're not.
38:13That's totally fair, yeah.
38:14I would love to send Joan home.
38:16I have a feeling my name's gonna be...
38:18I think mine will be on there.
38:19Definitely.
38:20I do.
38:20I think Joan will save me.
38:22Just as retaliation.
38:23I'm also wondering if they're thinking long game, like, or they're just using this as a personal vendetta.
38:32Dean and I have a spit handshake that we're leaning on.
38:35For me, I'm thinking at least I can ride on the fact that Dean's got my back.
38:40I mean, Brendan and Sam, I think, would be easy pickings at the end.
38:44So I think we gotta go...
38:45So Noah's a bigger threat.
38:46I know, but that's my boy.
38:48Okay, but who cares?
38:49Let's put him out to pasture.
38:50And those are our girls, so that's a fair...
38:52Right, exactly.
38:52That's a fair...
38:52You know what?
38:53What I've decided, I don't really care enough about Noah to not send him home.
38:58So just put Noah down there.
38:59That's fine.
39:04I was on the guys' side because we had that first challenge together.
39:07Now I'm kind of like maybe leaning more towards the middle with the girls because we just won that challenge
39:11together.
39:12I don't know where I'm gonna go from here, but I guess if you just keep winning, it doesn't really
39:17matter.
39:24Thanks.
39:29Alicia, Jill, and Dean, as the winning team, you've casted your votes, and now I'm going to reveal them.
39:35What?
39:40Brendan.
39:47Tammy.
39:48Wow.
39:53Noah.
39:55Cute.
39:56I think you can tell who voted for you.
40:00Does he have an ugly mustache?
40:03All right, that means the bottom three this week, Brendan, Noah, and Tammy.
40:09And one of you will be going home today.
40:15But, yesterday, you all competed for the golden screwdriver.
40:19That's a power that we've been keeping under wraps.
40:21And the challenge was simple.
40:23Cut a piece of wood as close as you could to 17 and a half inches without going over.
40:28And the results are in.
40:31And the winner, who finished just 1 16th of an inch shy of hitting the exact target...
40:37Greasy.
40:41...is Brendan.
40:42Oh.
40:46See ya, pal.
40:49Here's the thing.
40:50The golden screwdriver carries ultimate power.
40:54It doesn't change who the bottom three are, but it does decide who goes home tonight.
41:03That's bad.
41:06So, Brendan...
41:11You're obviously safe tonight.
41:13But you're also gonna be choosing between Tammy and Noah...
41:16...on who will be going home.
41:20You know, I love that I have immunity, but...
41:23...I don't know if I want the power of the golden screwdriver.
41:27He's so sweet.
41:28These are my people, though.
41:29Come on.
41:31Brendan, can you come up here and join us, please?
41:33Oh, my God.
41:34I really feel bad for Brendan, because Brendan is good friends with Tammy.
41:39And Brendan and I are both good friends.
41:41We're both on the same season together.
41:43I love Tammy, but I want to win.
41:45You should do it right now, Jesse?
41:46Mm-hmm.
41:47Come on.
41:49It would suck so badly if I went home.
41:53I feel like my time here isn't finished.
41:56I still have so much to prove to myself and the others in the house...
42:00...and the world to see what I can do.
42:05Damn it.
42:23Um...
42:24I'm sorry, guys.
42:25I frickin' had so much fun with you two doing this challenge, but...
42:34your challenge now takes place in the pool area.
42:37This is the Bachelor Mansion Diving Contest.
42:41Woo!
42:42Every time I give an opinion, like, best bar, it gets poo-pooed on.
42:46Having Courtney on our team is creating problems.
42:49Too yellow in the middle, too green on the outside.
42:51No, I think we should alternate.
42:52Okay, I think we should do it.
42:53Yeah.
42:53I think that's a horrible idea and we're gonna lose.
42:55Remember that piece from the ceiling?
42:56They're using it.
42:57We were told we can't use it.
42:58We might not be doing enough.
43:00I don't like it.
43:01Hmm.
