An Indonesian woman was found drowned after she jumped into a lake at Lake Valley, Bandar Tun Hussein Onn in Cheras on Monday (March 9).

00:03An Indonesian woman in her 30s was found dead after drowning at Lake Valley,
00:09Bandar Tun Hussein on Inceras, on Monday.
00:12The incident is believed to have occurred while she was attempting to flee from officials
00:17from her country's embassy.
00:20Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar,
00:25said a six-member team and fire engine were dispatched to the scene
00:30following an emergency call at 4.35pm.
00:34Initial search and rescue efforts used surface search methods
00:38before the Water Rescue Team, or PPDA, took over.
00:42He said the PPDA unit began a dive at 10.10pm
00:46and the victim was found at 10.19pm,
00:49approximately six metres from the shore at a depth of three metres.
00:53The victim was brought to the surface but was pronounced dead at the scene
00:57by a health ministry officer.
00:59The operation ended at 11.10pm
01:02and the body has been handed over to police for further investigation.
