04:26It deserves the best facelift it can get.
04:29We have so many iconic moments that live rent-free in our heads.

04:37This is a space that is guaranteed to be shown on camera during rose ceremonies,
04:42time after time again.
04:44Jade, will you accept this rose?
04:46There's a lot of pressure on this specific challenge, just knowing that the world will
04:50really be watching.
04:51Now, in a moment, each of you is going to draw one of nine scrolls from this champagne bucket.
04:56The scroll you pull, that locks in your zone.
04:59And the other contestants with the same scroll, those will be your teammates.

05:06So the zones are the living space, the candle room, and lastly, the bar and wine cellar.

06:51And each team will have 45 minutes to lock in your design plans from an array of preselected
06:56materials.
06:57So choose wisely.
06:59Now, at the end of the challenge, the judges are gonna decide which team outperformed the rest,
07:04and that will be the team that's safe from elimination.
07:07Now, for the rest of you, this is important.
07:11It's the winning team that will decide which of you stays and which of you goes.

07:43Okay, so what we need to decide in this meeting right now is the countertops, backsplash,
07:51wall treatment for the wine cellar, and the shelving design.

07:54So I think these are definitely, like, the biggest focal points that we have
07:58to make the biggest splash in this challenge.
08:01After losing last week, I'm gonna kind of re-strategize a little bit.
08:06I'm not gonna argue with anyone or go back and forth with anyone too, too much.
08:10But let's figure out the countertops.

08:13But I'm definitely gonna be a little more assertive this week.
08:15I'm leaning towards, like, darker and moodier because this is the rose room and
08:21people crying here and their whole lives could potentially change in here.
08:25I think we should lean into that with dark and moody.

08:31I mean, our bread winner is gonna be our back wall with the shelves.

08:54Let's start out with just kind of our general idea about this wall.

09:04This whole wall is full of candles.
09:06It's where you have, like, intimate conversations.

09:13It was really kind of intimate seating.
09:15So making it more multifunctional would be great for us.

09:23I was thinking that we certainly want to, like, honor our arches in here.
09:27So I was thinking about doing one large one in the middle and have a built-in sofa.

09:33I also think that the shelves should match these beams right here.
09:36So you're thinking the insert that we build for the candles and stuff,
09:41whatever color we were to, like, stain that would match the beams as well, right?

10:17I feel like we need to prioritize the fireplace because it's going to be the focal point.

10:56But it doesn't seem like that's an option.

15:54fluted situation i like sculptural pieces that's kind of where the bachelor bachelorette would be
16:00reaching down for the roses there's only one rose left this evening boom tight shot on the rose
16:04so redesigning the podium i can only imagine it's gonna be extra brownie points for us
16:09ideal we can do a wrought iron base of some sort really thin and then wood on the top i
16:16think that
16:17would look really nice okay do i have an idea for it yeah sure but like i'm gonna let her

16:23the lead on the podium and we'll see what happens okay love that did you guys want to just do

16:30flower itself for the emblem or do you want to do it with the stem if we can go with

18:25they have one of the girls that's rude well i think they were just trying to see like who would
18:31go home most likely they said that you or noah would go home i think what changes now is that

30:06our guest judge is christina hawk like hgtv royalty somebody that really understands the pressure that
30:14we were under you know she's a great designer obviously designing a beautiful space is really hard
30:20but so is finding love i'm looking for a space that tells a story i really want to see an
30:27elevated
30:28design but something that comes from your heart so you guys will be judged on design execution
30:35and creativity and i'm so excited to see how you guys incorporated a rose in your final designs
30:41now together your judges are going to decide which team delivered and which of you are at risk of going
30:47home so let's get into it contestants why don't you head on into the mixed room you can take a
30:52break
30:52we are going to walk around and take a closer look at all of your great work
30:59all right judges let's begin with the living space this is incredible
31:09this was dean alicia and this was jill i'm obsessed with it it feels so cozy and warm yes i'm
31:16glad they
31:17did muted colors same then they used pops of colors with the furniture which i think was a better use
31:21of
31:22color i completely agree i love that they used a wallpaper in here i like the touch but i think
31:27the roman
31:28clay with the mural that's maybe where the tones just don't quite flow so what do you guys think
31:35about the podium beautiful this is a special piece that can be used season to season to season they
31:41made the bachelor mansion sexy mm-hmm there's a room that i used to always forget about the candle room
31:47this is very different from what this room used to look like
31:52it was courtney joan and sam wow so pretty and i really like that they did the light stain here
31:59and then the dark stain on the ceiling treatment i think it draws your eye in different directions
32:04i love the built-in i do wish the walls on the insides were a little bit thicker not just
32:09an overhang
32:09like this kind of gives it a little bit of a cheaper look and just wish the sconce would fit
32:14uh this truth is better that's a good eye i agree and that art looks handmade it is wow oh

32:22the past this wall was loaded with candles i mean it was called the candle room for a reason i

32:28walk in here and feel like oh it's a living room i don't think it's as dramatic as the old

33:17i love the rose there it's not like so in your face i just think the whole wall feels kind

33:24it's just everything's the same color for me i would have liked to see it either inside or outside but

33:31both i agree it doesn't pop so this is actually really special you did not know that there was a
33:36wine cellar behind this it almost looked like it was just like an image behind it because there was
33:40fully covered in water fall glass i think this is gorgeous yes stunning this is much more modern
33:47much more sleek i like this part a lot i love this it does feel like a really high-end

33:52definitely is super eye-catching i think they nailed that overall i think every single one of these spaces
33:58are gorgeous they did an excellent job considering how much time they had and so

34:10all right everybody we're going to start with the living room space
34:13first thing i noticed is the mural whose decision was that jill
34:19teen was such a heartbreaking vote
34:26i love it thank you i love it we talked about in the beginning we're supposed to take risks and

34:33a fun fresh take on the mansion and i thought it did just that oh my god everybody's going to
34:40have a
34:41different opinion and you know what they say about opinions they're just like everyone's got one and they
34:45think so the thing that should have stood out a little bit more was your essence of the rose
34:52i love the podium i think it's beautiful however i'm not going to lie it did get lost when i
34:57was
34:57looking at the room as a whole for me the wallpaper feels a bit overdone but i think that the

35:06choices in here are such a significant improvement from the before it feels really cozy intentional well
35:13thought out thanks now we're going to talk about the candle room christina i think this room is
35:20stunning the first thing i noticed when i walked into the space was that tile i am a sucker for
35:26a star and a cross and the color is so pretty i think it's such a nice homage to the
35:30rose it's a
35:31room i would have in my own house i really like it i love this hand-painted art courtney did
35:36you do
35:37that yes job well done here thank you the way that you guys use the furniture and the decor from
35:43wayfair you guys did a phenomenal job i think it just filled the space wonderfully but the candle room
35:49is the candle room i thought i could just have been a little bit more symbolic of that it's such
35:55a
35:55dramatic room but the candles fell a little flat now the bar area and the wine cellar the first thing

36:04noticed was the rose detail i thought that was so special i love it so much what i love is
36:13the
36:13countertop i like that you carry it through here when you got rid of the waterfall glass looking at
36:17the built-in i don't know if it's maybe the finish from the roman clay or if it's just because

36:22arches aren't that deep i'm just not a big fan of it i absolutely love the wine rack i think

36:30pops it looks super high-end i think it's gonna make a really beautiful backdrop for the rose ceremony
36:35looks stunning so after a lot of consideration the judges have made their decision the winning team is
