00:00Mojtaba Khamenei has been elected as the new supreme ruler of Iran.
00:05Now he takes over from his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,
00:09who was killed during the strikes 10 days ago by the USA and Israel in Iran.
00:16Now there's not a lot known about the new leader.
00:18He's said to be a billionaire with properties across Europe and the Middle East.
00:23That said, the 56-year-old is expected to retain the hardline rule approach adopted by his father.
00:32That said, President Trump has issued a statement saying the next supreme ruler of Iran
00:39is going to have to get approval from us.
00:42If he does not get approval, he won't last long.
00:45As you can imagine, the last 48 hours, the intensity of attacks have ramped up across the Middle East.

00:55with those alarms that we receive on our phone when a strike is imminent.
01:00Here in Dubai, a drone strike hit the tarmac at DXB Airport.
01:04There were people on board planes ready to depart.
01:07They were evacuated and taken to a safe space underground in the main terminal.
01:13In addition to that, a car was hit by drone debris
01:16just off one of the main roads near Sheikh Zayed Road here in Dubai,
01:20sadly killing the driver.
01:23Lots of talk this morning about oil prices.
01:26A barrel of oil is up almost to $120.
01:30That's the biggest price hike we've seen in four years.
01:33So there'll be a lot of people keeping a close eye on that as well.
