00:00Well, anybody looking at what was going on geopolitically could see that Donald Trump was building up forces in the
00:05Gulf.
00:06The Prime Minister was actually consulted on this far earlier than we were led to believe.
00:11And the government could have been putting in measures to make sure that we were fully prepared for what could
00:15happen after that instance.
00:17And the Chancellor came to the House of Commons last week with her Spring Statement and acted as if nothing
00:23has changed.
00:24Everything is changing and the government needs to be prepared accordingly.
00:27As I say, that means changing our energy policy stance, looking at what we can do to mitigate any price
00:33rises on the public, making sure that the public finances are prepared and in a good state.
00:38And instead, Labour's carrying on like nothing has changed.
00:41They're continuing to splurge huge amounts of money on welfare because the Prime Minister is mainly concerned about rebellions on
00:47his back benches.
00:48Even though he has this large majority, things are very politically volatile.
00:52I'm afraid that's entirely the Prime Minister's fault and he should have been getting his ducks in a row, seeing
00:57where things were going in the Gulf and preparing our country accordingly.
