00:00And what are the conditions right now for people like yourself living in Tehran?
00:05Are you getting advanced warnings about these incoming strikes and missiles?
00:10And has the government prepared enough food, water and supplies for the city to keep running as this bombardment continues?
00:20Well, we cannot just we can compare it only to the June war, June last year.
00:26If you remember, back in June last year, people evacuated Tehran.
00:3117 million residents of the capital of Tehran evacuated the city and the city turned into a ghost city.
00:38But now it's different.
00:40The majority of the people, the residents are staying inside the capital of Tehran waiting for what's going to happen.
00:47Many are staying indoors.
00:49But of course, when you're talking about pro-government residents or the supporters of the Islamic Republic,
00:56these people have been going out on the streets, chanting slogans of no surrender,
01:03urging the Iranian government and the military to just retaliate and quote unquote level Israel to the ground,
01:10or flatten Israel to the ground.
01:12And just a message of resilience and defiance is being projected by those people, the supporters of the Islamic Republic.
01:20The others are staying indoors.
01:23Some of them have evacuated, gone to the northern areas where they deem to be safer,
01:29taking shelter in the northern areas, lush green land in northern Iran.
01:34So, all in all, life, if you walk on the streets of Tehran, life seems to be normal.
01:41But again, you're not sure whether or not some, like, neighboring buildings or adjacent buildings may come under an attack
01:50all of a sudden.
01:51But of course, compared to the June war, it's a bit normal and normalcy can be seen.
