00:01Azerbaijan says it has foiled a series of terror plots allegedly orchestrated by Iran's
00:07Revolutionary Guard. Newly released footage shows explosives recovered during a counter-intelligence
00:12operation by the country's state security service. Officials say the network was planning
00:17attacks on several targets in Baku, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Jahan oil pipeline, the Israeli
00:24embassy, and sites linked to Azerbaijan's Jewish community. Investigators say more than seven
00:30kilograms of C4 explosives were smuggled into the country with the help of local accomplices.
00:36Authorities say suspects were carrying out surveillance and preparing logistics for the
00:40attacks before the operation was uncovered. Several people have been detained and four have already been
00:46sentenced to prison. Officials identified an Iranian Revolutionary Guard officer as one of the
00:52organizers. The announcement comes as tensions between Baku and Tehran escalate following a drone
00:58strike on Azerbaijan's exclave Nakchevan earlier this week that injured four civilians. Azerbaijan
01:05has blamed Iran for the attack, an accusation Tehran denies.
